I love Jersey Mike's Sub In A Tub but I love Jersey Mike's and this location has always been solid. We did take out for the family. Ordered when we arrived and the employees are always busy working hard to please. It's a quick stop for a decent meal and the sandwiches are always good. You can sit for a while if you'd it's a very casual sandwich place. If you know anything about most of these kind of places you stand on the line and tell them what you want or what number you want in correlation to your sandwich and as you go you tell them what you want added to it. Sometimes you just want a good sub, tasty, and loaded with quality ingredients for lunch or dinner. My go-to is the turkey and provolone on white bread roll, and I customize it with banana peppers and the works, basically Mike's Way. Love the red wine vinegar dressing which offers a delish flavor. Fast and helpful crew. They desire to give you the food you order in a reasonable length of time, no pulling teeth to get service. Good quality food. Expect to pay $20 for a good man sized sammy. 5 Stars because they do what you expect them to do. "My rule for ratings scale". Consistently delivery exactly the same thing. Every time. Plus I actually love Mike's Way. Add the pepper relish and I'm good to go. I'm using them for catering next week and if the order is big enough you might be able to get it delivered. I'm ordering for 20 people. Don't understand why some people don't like Jersey Mike's in some of the reviews. I can honestly say that if given the choice I'd take Jersey Mike's over all the rest. Why? The bread/rolls are substantial and they're not frugal on the meat. No empty areas on the sandwich end to end. Started eating these sandwiches about 10 years ago in Brea, CA. It's not the worst idea to check the bathroom every 2-3 Hours. Maybe...perhaps(?) instead of going on break take 5 - 6 minutes to sweep/take trash/check soap and paper towel supply. If done every 2-3 hours...bathroom checks are fast. read more

Great subs. Haven't had a bad one yet. Staff is usually friendly. Great escape from a subway and way better in my opinion.

The worst part of this location is ownership/management! But first: the food. We got lured in by a "Free Delivery Monday, " but we paid the price. My wife's cold sub was extremely oily and gross. My hot sub--the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak--was a JOKE. Cooked to death, no jalapenos, no mushrooms, and so little cheese it wouldn't satisfy a mouse. It was a dry, dust bowl of a sandwich, one that no employee should have even tried to palm off on a customer, and one that no manager/owner should have let out the door. Contacted jersey Mike's for help, and they have told me a couple of times that the owner would reply in 24-48 hours. Very funny. From lousy food, to being ignored about it, this place is AWFUL! read more

When isn't a sub 6" or 12"? Right here at Jersey Mike's as their subs are 5" & 8". Which wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so expensive. Add to that the fact that their meats are not paper thin but rather transparent thin and there's nothing special about this store. There's not a decent seating area as they had to add a service line. Positive note is that their restrooms are clean and though I couldn't get anyone to assist me at first, 2 employees stepped up at the end to service my table. read more

I order Jersey Mike's 1-2 times a week because my busy life with 4 kids and sports and it's the one place they will all agree on. It has progressively gotten worse and worse! At first everything was fine. Maybe five minutes late on times but now they are 20 minutes to 1hour late on pick up times. The order is NEVER right and at least 3 times they've forgotten an entire sub! The free drinks for my inconvenience are no longer going to cut it! I am so done with this place! We love Jersey Mikes! The bread is fresh and the ingredients are tasty. We used to bring home a sub from Daytona or Orlando, so we were very excited to hear one was in Ocala. i love the subs but went in today, they were not busy. 2 people making our subs, one to check us out. We ordered and because they were not busy they were sort of pushing us to check out. I asked for my vinegar and oil on the side. I went to pay and while doing this I didn't get my "Side". This was a take out order so thanks so much for my dry sub. This restaurant is poorly managed,employees not friendly, and mgt doesn't have a clue how to manage. I ordered a mini#9 chips and soda. Was $13.52 Then I sat down looked at receipt and saw they overcharged me. Charged me for a regular not a mini. I paid with Apple Pay. My mistake. Manager said she would fix it ,handed me $8.00 back not $13.53....... Then recharged me $7 something and I gave her back the cash. I said I'm still owed $5.00 as 8 + 5= 13.00 She said no I'm wrong. So I talked to store manager and she had total disdain for me , I had to go to the owner over $5.00 but at this point it was the principal of it .... The store manager was so unfriendly as instead of hello she said are you david , I said yes , and with disdain she said I have to make you a regular because my boss said so.... like she is doing me a favor ... wtf.... terrible customer service skills , this store is the laughing stock of anyone in the villages as we have all had problems there... and I tried to talk to corporate office but they could care less , and sent me a link to the franchise owner ... Had a Baja chicken wrap today and it was terrible. The wrap was so thin it was falling apart. There was no salsa in it and no flavor at all. Will never get again. Also thought the Rices were quite high for a large sub. $13.95. Got a much better sub for cheaper at a competitors. read more

The recently opened Jersey Mike's Subs is located on 'Easy Street' in a recently vacated barbeque place. It is better than 'Jimmy John's across the street, but not by much. The bread (choice of white or wheat) is not made on premesis. The meat is sliced (thin!) They are open, but still do not know their subs and have to refer to a list of ingredients or ask co workers. This should NOT be. I asked the girl (who obviously did not know much) to let the other guy (obviously knew more) to make my sub, but was ignored. She drenched it in vinegar and paid little attention to what I wanted on the sub. It was just OK with a coupon, but to go back for full price...don't think so! Call us Philistines, but we still prefer Subway because: 1. The bread is better and more choice 2. The subs can be toasted which prevents a soggy roll & offers a little 'crunch' 3. more control in what goes on the sub & how it's made...and 4. The price...MUCH cheaper (you can add extra meat for less than a Jersey Mike's sub.)...and you get a full 12 inch sub for less $$. All in all, a so -so sub, but hardly worth repeating...! read more
