Today (11/24/25) the store manager is sitting in a booth in the main part of the dining room with a laptop, on a Zoom call WITHOUT headsets - her meeting blasting throughout the restaurant. How is it that a restaurant manager is completely unaware that the ambience and dine-in experience are key components to customer satisfaction. I was so excited that they opened a location in Bluffton!! I live in Pooler and work in Bluffton and used to come into work late just to bring in lunch (work starts at 9 and chicken salad chick doesn't open until 1030) to friends at work so Bluffton is the perfect spot for a new location ! However, I usually take a quick chick home for my family. I love all of the CSC sides options. The broccoli salad is my favorite, but I am always tempted by the mac n cheese. The sugar cookie is the best part of the meal! It's big enough to fill my sweet tooth, but small enough I don't feel guilty for eating cookies. (Which I got) Then when I saw the actual size of the "large" I was pretty shocked to notice how extremely SMALL this large was! $13 for what looked like should've been the small. I felt robbed. I asked her if that was the large and she said "yes!" Needless to say, the portions for something like that need to be re-evaluated. OK. So your specialty is chicken salad. You charge an exorbitant amount of money for a protein that is usually the least expensive meat in a grocery store. With your buying prowess those prices would be further reduced having you pay much less than the average consumer. Yet your prices are ridiculous especially for "salads" that are under seasoned, bland, and forgettable. We have tried the cranberry Kelli, Buffalo barclay and jalapeño holly. Only that version even slightly awakened our taste buds. But all that came through was the pepper. The Buffalo style salad had nothing in common with the wings except for an off putting orangish hue. No heat, no umph, just shredded poultry in a tasteless mayo concoction. I can buy a huge rotisserie chicken at Sam's and make over 2 lbs of chicken salad for $5.99 plus the minimal cost of mix ins. Was excited to give this new restaurant a try. Ordered carryout and was told it would be brought out. It wasn't and had to go in to pickup. No masks. Brought home and was very disappointed.
