It feels a little funny leaving a review for a chain sub shop, but after reading some of the reviews on here, it seems like most people only show up to complain. We've been coming to this Jersey Mike's at least twice a month, and it's consistently excellent. The sandwiches are always fresh, generously made, and absolutely slap every single time. The staff is friendly, efficient, and we've never had anything but great service. For a place that's cranking out sandwiches all day long, the consistency is honestly impressive. My sandwich was made really well everything was evenly put together and tasted exactly how it should. Maryam helped me out, she was super nice and professional. The manager at this location clearly hates her job. There is no sign for pickup for online orders, so I waited in the line. When she asked what I wanted, I told her I had an online order and she told me I didn't have to wait in line and to wait by the register. I responded that there wasn't a sign and she responded very rudely. I then waited with the six other confused customers while nobody would even acknowledge us. She was helping to make sandwiches and loudly complaining about how they were short-staffed and if people didn't want to wait, they could leave. Ok, so I usually don't really leave reviews for restaurants unless the place was amazing, or if it was incredibly bad, but this visit to Jesey Mikes, the location off of Hess near Hilltop kind of irked me a bit. I've visited this location in the past and usually visit during busy times of the day, so I expect there to be A bit of a slowdown in service, as everyone works to get all the orders out. This time I visited around 7:00 pm. Hardly anyone in the store so I thought Id be able to get in and get out pretty fast. I stood back for a second to examine the menu then stepped up to the counter to order, but no one seemed willing to take my order. I stepped over to the girl at the register thinking she was going to take my order... nope! I then stepped back over to the other end, and the guy carving meat just looked at me and nodded his headat me, not a Hey how can I help you or anything. So I assumed he was looking for my order. I have him my order even though he looked distraught to even take my orde, then he just kind of wandered a bit before he related the order to another employee that looked like he had just come back from a break and not ready to work. He wandered around a bit looking confused on how to make my sandwich then finally started making it. I start waiting for my order to finish up, when the cashier girl finally speaks up to ask me if I am ready to cash out. She asks me if I wanted chips and a drink, and say I do.(now admittedly I did just say "yup" so maybe she Misunderstood me. She rings me up and pay $10 something for a regular sub, and what I thought was chips and a drink as well, go to grab a cup because she didn't hand me anything and ask which size she charged me for, because just a san for $10 sounds kinda high! She doesn't even turn towards me, laughs and says, "you said you didn't want any" after I attempted to explain that I did, but she just cut me off mid sentence and walked away stating with a sneer "that's ok, just keep them" Look I'm sorry youve had a bad day, or don't want to listen to anymore customers but I'm just here to get some food and get out of your face. This was our first time at Jersey Mike's, and it was great. The guys making the sandwiches were fantastic. They answered all of our questions and made recommendations on what we should order. When he asked how I wanted my sandwich prepared, I said, "Make it as if you are making it for yourself!!" He responded, "If you're not making it that way, you are doing it wrong!!!!'' Great response. Enjoyed a quick dinner here with my Mom recently. Greeted by the friendly staff upon entering and had a very short wait to order. Mom had the Original Italian sub which came loaded with Italian meats sliced fresh to order. She was quite impressed by the amount of meat on the sandwich, particularly compared to some competitors. She topped the sub off "Mike's Way" and also enjoyed extra tomato. She was very happy with the taste of her sandwich for sure! I enjoyed the hot Grilled Pastrami Reuben sandwich, also cooked to order. Although they didn't ask if I wanted to personalize the sandwich, it came out hot, fresh and delicious. We enjoyed our dinner at the quiet and shaded outdoor tables. All was great! read more

The manager or the older gal who works here just yells at the kids. I ordered a sub in the tub and she yelled at me for asking for lettuce as a base because hot sandwiches don't come with that.. I got food at this J.M. when they first opened and wasn't impressed. I thought they had used less than half the normal fillings but we just tried again and it was great. Bread was soft and fresh and the filling was perfect, the cold was cold enough and the hot was hot enough. We had Grubhub deliver and they were on time and delivered according to my requests. We'll get J.M. from this location from now on. We'd been going out of town. Well... Not sure why I'm listed as Castle Rock. We ordered food online and they gave us a scheduled pickup time. We waited there 20 minutes for them to make 4 not very large subs. They didn't have the gluten free bread ready and had to thaw it. When we got home the sub I ordered toasted wasn't toasted. All the subs where soggy and falling apart. Would not recommend this sub shop if your looking for a good sub and fast cook time. read more

Usually the food is pretty good, service is ok. Today was terrible. The buffalo chicken sandwich had bbq sauce on it. Mistakes happen, I get it. When I called in, Ethan was nothing less than a jerk on the phone. He declared that he was sure it was buffalo sauce and my wife was 100% wrong that the sandwich tasted sweet like bbq or teriyaki. "We don't have teriyaki so it's just something from the grill." Went back in and luckily ran into Josh who actually cared. He confirmed that the sandwich was indeed not correct and that Ethan was wrong, and should not speak that way to someone on the phone. Got a refund for her sandwich, but my sandwich was sitting at home the whole time so I got a cold cheesesteak. Ate 2 bites total. Will not go back if this is the type of service I get. I understand mistakes happen and can be fixed. I stopped by again today. I am sticking with my 4 star review. I still think the cold sandwiches (Mike's Way) are the best choice. I also still think the process flow could use improvement. The person in front of me had a large order and the new guy apparently had not wrapped "giant" subs before. It was kind of painful to watch, and a bit frustrating that they turned this into a teaching moment for him. Obviously, new employees have to learn sometime, but when the line is backed up, please step in and help him get the order completed. I had previously written a glowing review for another nearby location, but since being turned away twice due to that location being closed early, and other issues, we've come running to this location with high hopes of being saved, and have been rewarded each time. The evening shift has always been friendly and attentive, and more importantly, made a good samich just like Mike would want them to. So about them samiches. Impressed that a chain makes their cheesesteak to order (looking with a frown at you Which Wich...). Their meats are high quality, and the load up your sandwich. A regular certainly fills you up, and the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality and how much you get. A great mix of cold and hot items. My wife and I both love the classic Italian, and I've enjoyed their cheesesteak while the wife will occasionally get the turkey. Also like the rewards. It's pretty quick to earn a free mini sandwich, and not much more to get a free regular. Plus they do double points every now and then. Tasty quick meals has turned this place into our go-to quick bite. read more

We waited 45 minutes for the incorrect sandwiches. I ordered ice tea.. supposed to come in a sealed bottle.. first they just left it out of the order.. after I went back in to get it corrected a dude took off his gloves.. grabbed a cup lid and straw and told me to use the dispenser. I had to wipe down my cup lid and straw as soon as I got to my car. Feel like I need to do a 14 day quarantine after being in this place. Like I said in the beginning. Every single time I go to this location, it's a horrible experience. I don't think I've ever been there when it didn't take 20+ minutes to get a sandwich; and the attitude from almost every single employee is abysmal. If you don't like working there, or don't have customer service skills - QUIT. Maybe you'd be better off at a job where you don't have to interact with people. Nobody wants to pick up their lunch and be greeted by people who appear to be miserable and/or don't know what they're doing. The only good thing is that we ordered 3 sandwiches on line for no contact pickup and got 3 sandwiches. None of the sandwiches were correct. Ordered a 3 pack of cookies got 1 cookie. Told order would be ready at noon. Stood around for 20 minutes waiting while people walked in, placed their order and got their food. Tried to call, no answer. Drove back down, spoke to the manager. Demanded a refund of the entire order. She told me she was going to do it and then stood there. I made her do it while I was standing there. Do business at your own risk!! Never ever again will I do business at Jersey Mikes on Lincoln. The service there is unacceptable. We buy 5 giant sandwiches from them about every 3 weeks to a month and on one occasion at the end of June they forgot an entire sandwich. I called and was told they would refund it or I could pickup another sandwich that night. I asked for the refund. After 2 weeks no refund was given. I called back and was told that a manager would contact me. After 2 days I called back and was told the manager would again call me. The following day the manager called me and said they couldn't find my order in the system (although I can see it in my jersey mikes reward system). She said they would remake my order next time I was in there and to call and ask for one of 3 managers. She specifically said they would remake the order not the one sandwich. Tonight I did just that, I ordered all 5 sandwiches was told to pick it up in 20-30 minutes, drove all the way to the store to pickup and was told the manager called me and left a voicemail. I had no voicemail but a missed call minutes before my arrival, and no order ready. They then told me they never told me they would remake the whole order only the one sandwich. As the phone is being passed around between two different people on their end. After some back and forth, I asked for the store managers name and number and they refused to provide that info. Finally the gal I was speaking with said she was the store manager and that they would not serve me. I will never do business with a place that doesn't correct their wrongs. You made a mistake, ok, you finally made a commitment to correct it and now you want to back out. So if you want to get what you pay for I would not suggest doing business with this establishment. Not to mention the absolute horrible customer service and the time of the so called manager. As I told them goodbye and good riddents, I will be sure to take my $80 every couple weeks somewhere else. Side note: while I was there they told another customer they didn't have any of one kind of meat and said they couldn't cut anymore. SMH!!
