Jersey Mike's has some good subs. First time at this location. It's in a new plaza. Parking seems to be tight. Had to park a few rows away and the Publix isn't even open yet. So I predict parking issues. Dining area was bright and clean with roughly a handful of tables. Service was at best, polite. No one seemed to want to be there. But the sub was made fresh and correctly. The cashier charged me for chips and soda when I only wanted the chips but I decided to keep the soda instead of waiting for them to try and figure out how to refund a couple of bucks. read more

This was my first real time eating at Jersey Mikes. Last time I was really full and took a bite of someone's sandwich whom I don't agree with on food preferences. So this time I am able to really judge the sandwich. I ordered a turkey large sub. I have a lot of left overs for tomorrow for lunch. Everything was very fresh. They have an OK assortment of toppings. I am someone who loves toppings and this assortment was pretty typical. Nothing too exciting. The sandwich itself is good. Not out of this world. What I do like is that they have a donation day. Which was today. And everything that they sell on that day, every dollar they make they donate. Last year that resulted in a 20 million dollar donation nationwide.That is really amazing and says a lot about the founder. I love that. I bought my neighbor and her daughter a sandwich as well. Jersey Mike's is a good place to get subs because they take time and effort to make them. We were trying to decide where to get food at, today we went to Jersey Mike's Subs and did not regret the aftermath. This time I was getting the #13 this time with some chips. The staff was nice and the atmosphere smelled like good subs. The menu is specifically designed to not confuse you. They have 3 different sizes for the sub. Mini, Regular, and Giant. I got a Giant #13. Obviously when I got back home and tried the sub it was delicious and savory. I ended up giving the ducks a lot of chips because I ate half of a Giant #13 which was humongous. Had this place bookmarked for a couple of weeks and today was the day that I decided to take the very far drive to taste their Philly cheese steak sub. For those who don't know, I L-O-V-E Philly cheese steaks. Located in the Fountains of Miramar Plaza on Dykes Rd. & SW 160th Ave. Jersey Mike's Subs is a casual sandwich shop that offers take out and catering. They have a variety of cold/hot subs, wraps, salads, cookies, brownies, chips, and cold drinks. The cold subs are made with fresh cut meats and toppings, and the hot subs are cooked to order by the "grill master"...that's what I overheard someone call him. The subs come in either mini, regular, or giant size. You can have the subs by the box, by the bag, or as a personal boxed lunch which is ideal for outdoor gatherings or field trips. The place was halfway packed with customers which let me know the subs are good. As I approached the counter, a pleasant male employee greeted me and asked if he could take my order. I wasted no time in ordering a Philly cheese steak, but here they call it Jersey Mike's Famous Philly. While paying for the sub, the employee signed me up for their rewards program. In less than 5 minutes, I was handed my sub and on my way back to Hollywood. OMG, the sub was delicious and flavorful. Tenderly grilled meat with onions, red peppers, and mushrooms, covered with melted provolone cheese inside a soft white bread. It was definitely enjoyable and worth the long drive. Well, I love Jersey Mike's! This was just a rare occasion where it seems like the ppl in line were more important than the ppl who ordered online. There were 4 tickets (online orders) and nobody was working on them. The customer in front of us said he had been waiting approximately 14 minutes past his pickup time. We waited an additional 16 minutes past ours. I think they need more staff. Everyone was friendly, and the food was great as always. My husband did say that it didn't seem like they put the extra meat he ordered on his sandwich. read more

After ordering multiple times from this location, I will tell you it's the best. The staff, from other reviews say are rude, but whenever I stop in and talk to them, they are never rude. The service industry is cold right now because of the entitled turds that expect the absolute top notch service from people that are running their butts off just to keep the place going, are berating and not understandable to the situation. I'm extremely disappointed in our last few visits to this Jersey Mike's location. My husband and I are frequent visitors (as in once a week) and the service has completely changed. I'm not sure if the management is different, but the gentlemen are cursing at one another and arguing while making our sandwich, and they are just overall rude. Today, we were first in line and there were four guys over the grill yelling obscenities at one another- it took them at least 8 minutes to attend us. It's a shame, as this was one of our favorites for both the fresh sandwiches AND the friendly, quick service. What sets this apart is that the ingredients are fresh (unlike Subway) Jersey Mike slices the meats and cheese once you order your sub so you know they are fresh. Also their toppings are always fresh. They sell subs in three sizes...mini, regular and giant (the giant is cut into four sections so you will always have leftovers or if you want to split with someone else). Brand new location on pines Blvd, very clean and easy to get to. I ordered two regular cheese steaks, one with onions and peppers, the other without due to food allergy. Paid, got my sandwiches, and went home. When I got home both sandwiches were covered in onions and peppers. I took the one that was supposed to not have any back to the shop just to get it remade, no big deal. I informed them of the error and they began to make me a new sandwich, I asked to make it the giant sized and I was fine with paying the difference. I go to pay and instead of paying the difference I was charged for another regular sub. It isn't a big difference in money but the fact that I drive all the way home to only return and then get charged extra was slightly upsetting. Then I open my sub and it just looks like chicken with half melted cheese on top of it. Disappointing. The staff was great but this should have been handled a bit better. read more

I eat here all the time, today I walked in to place an order and all the staff of course are wearing mask and following guidelines for COVID but they had 5 people who appeared to be contractors working in the food prep area with no mask or gloves on. One of the contractors was just outside sneezing then walks in behind me and into the food area and puts his hand right on the cutting board. The employees looked shocked but said nothing. When asked what I would like to order, I looked at the contractor breathing on the lettuce and got disgusted. I told them no thank you and walked out.
