So then I asked for the manager who apologized and offered to recompense on my next time in which was the honorable thing to do. Another year has passed so a visit was needed for the annual day of giving. This time, the order was placed online. The order was ready upon arrival. The giant stickball special and giant bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak was ordered. The stickball special consisted of provolone, ham, and salami. The rosemary parmesan bread was chosen as was lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, oregano, salt, and dill pickles. This was okay. The bread was the key as well as the crunch from the pickles. The rest of the sub was just a little plain. The cheesesteak had applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, white American cheese, and ranch dressing. This was the preferred of the two. The combination of the melted cheese with the ranch dressing along with the bacon presence added to the chicken portion here. The only issue was the lack of chicken present. read more

Above the loud blaring music our orders were made incorrectly by the 5 ( !) chatty ( with each other) uninterested , distracted, rude employees. I threw mine away and when asked if I wanted it remade in a snarky tone, I replied that I'd like to see her speak to me without the attitude and eye rolls and the music turned down so they could hear my order. We usually have a great experience at the Raritan Jersey Mikes. I ordered online and picked up as I have done in the past. We ordered extra Mayo on one sandwich. It looked like they dumped a half of a jar of Mayo on it. The sandwich was edible but soggy and we had to take off most of the Mayo. Service is always great in this store. The food is constantly old the staff does not have any sense of urgency and it's premium prices compared to other places just doesn't warrant continued visits. I ordered on the phone 20 minutes before I went to pick up my order. When I went to check out the cashier tried to charge me for 3 giants and I only had 2 and a regular sub in a tub. If I didn't look when paying, I would've been overcharged. Shouldn't be working the register when you don't even know what you're ringing up. I also asked for a side of mayo and that was missing as well. It's sad to see how much this location has went downhill. I will not be coming back. read more

Most are stoned all the time and I request the oil n vinegar on the side because I don't eat my sandwich immediately n I prefer it not to be a soggy mess. I Used to love this place, staff was friendly and nice and service was great. I went on sunday and the person slicing the meat was rude to my daughter with his attitude. the person making the sandwhich did a nice job but seems he didn't like the people he worked with and the cashier was really nice but the other girl who seemed to be a supervisor was not nice and acted like she did not want to be there and was rude to the cashier. I am willing to pay a little extra just to get an amazingly, freshly prepared sandwich. I got the regular #9 Club Supreme. The Club Supreme has roast beef, turkey, swiss, applewood smoked bacon, and mayo. I also opted for the "Mikes Way" which basically means they will add onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, and spices. The regular size sandwich is pretty big itself. They packed it with a lot of meat and other ingredients. The sandwich is most likely the best cold sub sandwich I ever got from a chain restaurant. Freshly prepared and it was so awesome tasting. I am going ask for the giant sandwich one day, because that sandwich is enormous. I am so coming back here. read more

I love Jersey Mike's and now I don't have to drive to Hillsborough to get it when I'm at work. There is really only one item I get at JM and I get it almost every time I go. The #6 (Roast beef and provolone). Their store roasted beef is amazing. Rare and juicy and flavorful. I also love the pepper relish. Not really spicy but acidic and bright to cut through the rich beef and cheese. Also, though they don't talk about it as much as some places, Jersey Mike's has a variety of breads including my favorite, wheat and now gluten free is available also. read more

I desperately wanted to like this place. I understand the owner of the franchise is exceptionally community oriented, provides money and food to various local charities, and is considered a truly nice person. So I desperately wanted to like this place. On my way to Guitar Center, I stopped in and ordered a #7 turkey and provolone. The employees were very friendly and got on it right away. The sub consists of exactly 1 thin slice of provolone and a non-stop mound of turkey; I was actually tapping my foot waiting for the young lady to turn off the slicer. I asked for "a little bit" of mustard, but it was put on like Tammy Faye's makeup so I had to ask her to scrape most of it off when she returned. She put on a good amount of lettuce and, in response to my request for "some oil and vinegar", doused it with enough O&V to cover the field at Giants Stadium. At the end it was a sloppy, soaked, gloppy mess. I ended up pulling off most of the turkey and simply holding the sub over the wrapper for several minutes until it stopped dripping. And I had actually intended to go to Panera when I left my house. The training, or lack thereof, that doesn't advise employees that you can always add more if there's not enough, but YOU CAN'T TAKE IT OFF IF THERE'S TOO MUCH, has always boggled my mind. Second star for friendly staff, but only one for the food. There are only two tables and four counter seats, so that's ridiculous also. Oh, and the dude that calls everyone "boss"--knock it off. I have gone to this Jersey Mike's a few times but after tonight's visit, I will not be returning. I was the only customer in the store and ordered my sandwich. In walks another customer, known by the employee who was initially helping me. He stops making my sandwich to make a sandwich for his friend. Meanwhile, I pay for mine and wait as the other customer is served. The other customer also states that he did not pay for the sandwich from the day before, but I believe the cashier does not charge him for it. (The customer had said he would pay this time around for both) He pays and leaves, and I am still waiting. I was also asked if I wanted it Mike's Way, I said yes. The employee then asks me if I want each component, to which I respond yes. It is a bit redundant. I had recently order in for takeout here and when I was clearly unhappy with the wrong toppings on my sub I thought it was necessary to bring it to the workers attention. In return I got a rude comment back saying I was wrong and overheard the employees say to the other employee I was going insane. I believe in any work space the customer is always right, but unfortunately not at Jersey mikes in Raritan. Not to mention that the atmosphere was very stressful, the working space was visibly dirty to consumers coming in and out. Let me start off by saying I did contact the company directly prior to posting this review. This particular franchise didn't even care enough to respond to my email. My husband and I ordered a large sandwich to share. The sandwich had bacon in its name. We order the sandwich and a few minutes later the young guy tells us they don't have any white bread. Although white was our preference we agree to the rosemary bread. We sit down waiting for our sandwich to be done and after awhile the young girl says to us "we have no bacon". We understand that places run out of everything but why wouldn't they tell us that when we ordered a sandwich with bacon in the name???
