Turkey chilli - warm & sumptuous
    Latha P.

Quick in & out takeout at Panera after a long wait in the Vaccine line . Famished & drooling over all items on the shelf and menu , ordered a Sandwich & cup of Turkey chilli. Very Clean & following all Covid protocol , limited crowd , quick service & fresh hot delicious food , maintaining Panera standards . Couldn't wait to bite into the soft bread of my Chipotle Chicken Avocado melt . Chipotle mayo bonded well with the grilled chicken and the creamy avocado slices gave it a soft mouthfeel . Kept going for more when I realized I had not taken a pic for Yelp!! Paused my binging to take a shot of my half eaten sandwich , and gave it a comprehensible form by rotating & cropping the pic !! Turkey chili was perfectly spiced , warm and comforting . As good as always ! Panera doesn't fail you ! Keep it going ,,,,,,

The "perfect" menu item photo, and what you actually get when you order the same thing.

As a person who eats with my eyes, I am really feeling duped by the menu photographers. The pics of the food items on the website, and on the iPads they make you order from, I feel like a real idiot for spending over $11 for breakfast. The photo of the Chipotle Chicken, Scrambled Egg & Avocado looked absolutely incredible... ok, you suckered me Panera. I ordered it. And what was thrown at me on a plate was a clumped up wrap of sorts with chipotle and veggies barely spread over the handheld wrap. Oh, and the wrap was broken in two places - leaking food and bits of sauce and veggies falling on the plate. I substituted whites for eggs, easy to order, but not cool Panera to have professional photos taken which are nowhere near what comes out. And if the food photos are deceitful, heavens knows what other liberties they take. If I had a food allergy, I would ignore this place. Not sure if they are 2 stars or 3. The fact that I stood like an idiot for 5 minutes at the store, and nobody told me I was expected to order from an iPad would knock them down to a bit less than 3 stars.

Great Panera location, stopped in for coffee and a treat since it was pouring outside. We got some coffees and I had the most delicious Cinnamon crunch scone that had cinnamon chips topped with a cinnamon crunch icing. I'll definitely order that again. Very nice employees as well...

The new "chicken salad " sandwich is canned chicken. Shame on Panera. Looked just like tuna. Very disappointing.

AND IT WAS ONLY $8 for a bowl or pita. Then came the Slop Years when everyone started calling $20 bowls and quarter zips and overpriced housing "slop." And you know how I feel about that term. No bueno. Well "post" Covid I stopped going to CAVA bc the salad mix would be rotting and the portions smaller and the price astronomical. Like $14/bowl. My WallStreetBets went wild last week so I said let's do it big at CAVA. $33 for 2 bowls And a fountain drink. Please go to he-- I tried the new shrimp. Here's where it gets strange. The bowl was filled. Like my cup truly ranneth over. And it wasn't those punk baby shrimp either. These were plump. But the bowl didn't taste like ANYTHING. Like the stuff was there - feta, tzatziki, extra garlic sauce, skhug, extra pickled onions. My taste buds shoulda been doing tricks on it. But everything just tasted like cut n paste. A photocopy of food. A hyper realistic tracing of CAVA. I lowkey panicked that the Rona had got me because it gave nothing. AI slop bowl indeed. ::cries:: 3 stars for presentation and friendly sis working the line.

I walked in…read moreat 11am and went up to the kiosk, and realized that only breakfast items were available. I wanted to try something from the lunch menu, after asking an employee, I was told that lunch starts at 11:30am. So I came back around that time to order. I've been seeing their Big Mack Smash on social media for some time now, and it looks delicious. So I decided to I order their single patty Big Mack Smash, with angus meat and American cheese, on a plant based white bun. I don't care for sesame seeds on buns, and there was no option for a regular burger bun (without sesame seeds), so I chose the non sesame seed vegan bun. I also ordered a side of fries with garlic aioli. The plant based white bun was a little dry and the burger patty was also dry and did not have much flavor. Maybe I should have done a double patty for the burger, since it is a smashed patty and a little too thin for my liking. I felt like I was eating a dry burger bun with mostly lettuce, an occasional pickle and the Mack sauce. I probably will not order the garlic aioli again, it had a sweeter and nutty flavor to it, and I prefer more of a savory aioli. I used to order their Blackened salmon with a side of greens and Spanish rice in their BBQ Ranch flavor style, from their old menu. I do miss that meal, it was so flavorful with the crispy onions to top everything off. But I understand that they made the change to better suit the business and cut back on waste. I probably would not order the big Mack burger again. But I will definitely be back to try something else from the new menu. I've been a customer for over 6 years, and have introduced some of my family members and friends to this restaurant, and we've enjoyed our meals here for that time. I love that there are many vegan and vegetarian options here. Although I am neither, it's a great place for those who have dietary restrictions/preferences. Hopefully I find my new go to menu item soon, but in the meantime I will be ordering and trying many of the other new menu items. This is definitely the place to come if you don't want a typical vegan meal. You'd be like a kid in a candy store, with the amount of options that are here. They also have many non vegan options. Turf, Surf and Earth serves EVERYONE and that is their biggest positive!

I had the grandma's boy, cashew mac n' cheese, and a customizable bowl. The grandma's boy consisted of a fried oyster mushroom, red cabbage, pickles, pepper jack, chipotle mayo, and horseradish on a white bun. This was not bad. The sandwich was filled to capacity, and the sauces were a nice combination along with the crispy cheese. The pickles were good and I wish there were even more added. The fried mushroom just tasted like batter without much from the mushroom, which was really the only negative about this. The mac and cheese was made with a homemade cashew cheese. Texturally, it felt like a traditional mac and cheese, but the sauce threw me off a little. It was more plain than anything. Regarding my bowl, I opted for blackened chicken, quinoa, spring mix, bacon, chickpeas, corn, edamame, and a house Greek dressing. This was nicely put together. The chicken was seasoned and cooked ideally while the Greek dressing really brought everything together. I really enjoyed the bacon pieces as well.

TW/CW: Takeout only…read more Somerville. Home of overpriced, over-fancy, Americanized restaurants - and this one hidden gem. Good luck finding parking in downtown Somerville, but since we had good luck with that, I was optimistic we would have good luck with finding food. Walking around the historic cars that love to show off every Friday on Main Street (we learned), we walked down the pedestrian-only Division Street and got here. And I said "hmm - it had nice Yelp reviews, but I wasn't expecting a tiny takeout-only place." So we kept looking. But got drawn back here. Thanks, Dad! This is a little Egyptian eatery owned and staffed by none other than Mo himself. Here you will find a small menu of classic, authentic Mediterranean/Middle East foods that you would find in Cairo. While they were sold out of the dessert I wanted to try, the Hawawshiiii struck me as a must-eat. My dad got the classic chicken kebab sandwich. I offer the following: * Everyone's beaten me to the punch on the amazing portion size you get for the amazing price. * Everyone's beaten me to the punch on how amazing the food tastes. I devoured my hawawshiii and my dad's leftovers. The pita was so soft and fresh that his sandwich was wrapped in. I sopped up my creamy hummus side with it. * During peak period, expect a 20 minute wait for your order. But you've got peak Somerville to explore. On Fridays at 7, live music sets up so we enjoyed some music and poked into a couple of other stores to eat up the time. Not bad at all. I hope Mo Grill makes it and can expand into a full restaurant. I would love to see them succeed going forward, a most deserving and meritous owner who treats his customers with kindness, caring, and the best Egyptian food you may ever have.

He didn't mind my questions and the indecisiveness of a small child. The place is small inside and has signs up that you cannot eat in there. I have a feeling that has to be the town saying that since you could totally like two people sit front And eat a quick lunch. Minimalistic inside before a place that doesn't allow eat and dining. It makes a lot of sense. All in all I would come here again. I think the food is pretty good.
