Then, once I noticed it, I didn't go in because I've had mixed experiences with little breweries like this. Eventually, I finally walked through the door, and I'm writing this review to help you not make the same mistake I did . The first thing you notice is how warm and inviting the place is. Wood tables, fun chairs, great music, and plants. So many plants. It feels like an actual neighborhood hangout. Here's the funny part: I can't stand beer. My wife likes it, but my taste buds won't allow it. I'm also a type 2 diabetic, so a lot of the usual brewery food isn't really an option for me. But the first time we came in, I saw things like Caprese Salad, Italian Salad, Smoked Salmon, and other options that actually work for me. And then I discovered they make their own hard seltzers. Game changer! They always have several fun flavors, and they're unsweetened, which is exactly what I'm looking for. You can also get cans to go if you want to bring some home. You can tell the husband and wife owners have put a lot of love into this place. It's comfortable, welcoming, a little quirky, and they've always been incredibly kind. So if you live around here or just driving through, check it out!

When I arrived, I noticed there were several tables and a bar where you can essentially get brews and food. I noticed they had several beers on tap which I was very curious about, but unfortunately did not have time to sit down and eat at this establishment. The person at the bar was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. The two sandwiches came up to $40ish. I brought the sandwiches home and first tried a few bites of the Fancy Pants Sando. I will have to say it was the better of the two sandwiches. I appreciated the goat cheese in the sandwich and the mix of different ingredients, but it was not something I would consider to be a great sandwich, at least not for me. Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The beer looks fun though and might be a good reason to give this place a try, and you may enjoy their sandwiches and many people have. For me, that's a no-go.

And of course moving on to the beer... the primary motivator to come here. I got the Kölsch beer here called Field Trip. I do love a good Kölsch as they are nice, light bodied beers. And they are especially nice in the summertime. Flavor features in this beer is maltiness, breadiness, a bit of hoppiness and a dry finish. Another beer that Steve and I tried was the INWPA which was a Pale Ale. It was also a nice light bodied beer which again hit the spot despite it being a different drinking session. Flavor characteristics in this beer is citrus, a yeastiness, hoppiness and a biscuity trait. Good beers and sandwiches and we are aiming for a return whenever we are in Spokane again.

This place brought me back to the U district in Philly. First off, they got the bread right, which so many sandwich places in general don't pay attention to. Soft enough with good flavor but durable enough to hold the contents. The steak is cooked right. I love how they think outside the bun and you can get your meal in a rice bowl. Very creative and it tastes pretty good. Everyone is friendly here, and the service is really quick. Place is always very clean whenever I have come in. Unlike many places who try, their self serve ordering touchpad works really well and is easy to navigate. If you want an "authentic" Philly cheese steak, this is the closest you are probably gonna find in all of Spokane. And if you don't give two shits about the dreaded A word, know you will find a great sandwich here.

Had come across this place on Yelp and read some reviewers who said that Jersey Mike's was better than Jimmy John's. As a Yelper who despises Subway and am a Jimmy John's fan, of course, I had to check out Jersey Mike's! Stopped in today with my family. I liked the feel of the place and the meat and cheese case was super nice! There was a long line which gave me a chance to watch the sandwich makers at work. There were three employees behind the table and I think they might have an espresso machine in the back room because they were buzzing around with such enthusiasm and expertise, it was immensely entertaining to watch! Two employees were training the third, it was obvious that he was new at the job but they were able to keep everyone's orders straight and make multiple sandwiches at once as well as make the hot sandwiches, slice the cheese/meat and ring up the orders! They work very well with each other and get along and were able to laugh and make the customers laugh through the rush. They deserve a raise! :) The three sandwiches we got were the Jersey Mike's Famous Philly, The Club Supreme and the Original Italian, all regulars on wheat. They were very good! Not too salty as other places. Lots of lettuce, light on the cheese, thick tomato and a good amount of meat and the herb/oil is a nice touch. For pricing, you're looking at about $5.99 for a mini, $7.99 for a regular and $12-$13 for a giant. Unless I missed it, there isn't a meal deal available so you're paying for a sandwich and extra for chips and drinks. I'm sure there must be a meal (drink, beverage chip) deal available but I just might not have seen it. Better than Jimmy Johns? I wouldn't say better but I also wouldn't say any less. It's a different style of sandwich that is served at Jersey's and the same goes for Jimmy John's. Overall, three out of five stars for pricing, 5/5 for employee courtesy, 4/5 establishment cleanliness, 4/5 for product quality. I'll be a returning customer, for sure. read more

This is my 1st visit to JM. I'll keep this short. The service was good. The three servers were all very friendly. Cleanliness was good. I had a pastrami sandwich, which was just okay. The pastrami is very bland! Needs more spices in the meat. The bread and everything else is fresh. Drinks are a little on the expensive side. Overall it's okay. I will try again. read more

Very good sub sandwiches. They like to build there subs around lettuce. Cheap and stacks well. I leave it off. They aren't ready for that. Service depends on who is working; duh. Will not go back and subways as a buisness because of people like this I probably will go to Jimmy John's where they are nice and apologize and offer to remake if they make mistakes, never had a problem at a Jimmy John's.

A breakfast place should not be running out of hash browns and gravy...right?!
