Came on timeline exactly as ordered. Just got a basic club type sub with lettuce n tomatoes. Everything was fresh. Came cut into like 4 subs I cut it up into more bite size pieces as kind of appetizer. All guests said the sub was yummy with quality meat n veggies. Price was $20somehing so not too shabby. Jersey Mikes is always a safe bet, they have never done me wrong. As I say every time, Mikes Way tends to make the sandwich soggy quickly because it's drenched in their special "dressing" which is oil and vinegar. Eat asap. I had a very good Philly sandwich at this location. Order employee was funny and friendly and actually knew how to spell my unusual first name. The cashier was sweet and friendly. Tables were clean, sandwich work area was clean and meat was fresh. Iced tea was freshly made, which is great. Prices were reasonable. Parking was close and shop was wheel chair accessible.. Recently ordered delivery of two regular subs, the #8 and new MHI or Mikes Hot Italian, because I wanted to try the new hot pepper relish. After delivery opened my sub to find some mystery sub loaded with dill pickles, ugh, no hot Italian in site. When you rely on delivery because I am no longer able to drive, there is no excuse for the employee to ship out the wrong sub with MHI clearly on the paper sub holder. Lack of attention to your job, cost me the sub I wanted. Spoke with employee at Monroe St. store, he offered to replace, but I already paid for delivery and a large tip, so how do I get it? Instead gave me a credit for the sub plus delivery back on my gift card. Still missed out on my Mike's Hot and hope it is still available when I try again. read more

This is a great carry out restaurant! My first time here and wasn't sure what to expect. Well, they actually use a deli-like process to cut your meat and cheese (or anything in addition.) Everything looked and tasted very fresh and delicious. The only thing I'd suggest on improving is to offer spinach in addition to lettuce and to perhaps offer olives as an addition. Also the servers erred on the side of placing fewer veggies and next time I would request more. I wouldn't consider eating inside unless I was starving. Very fast food seating environment and not suited for long-term seating. Definitely a to-go order establishment and I've rated it accordingly. I ordered a sandwich from the Monroe Street store; I ordered it without tomatoes and extra meat and cheese and on rosmary bread. What t I got was a sandwich loaded with tomatoes no extra anything and on the white bread not the rosemary cheese bread. Since I did order it through DD I got my money back. When I called the store and talked to the manager he said OK when I told him this was the 3rd in the last month that it happened he just said OK. Service sucks. read more

I haven't been around Toledo long enough to know if this was JM's first stab at it, but it's definitely the first one in the past two years I've lived here. JM has definitely been one of my family's favorite [fast] sub shops for a while. It started back in L.A. when I had one right next to my old work. Got the wife hooked quickly. Between all of my cross country moves, we had a hard time finding one nearby. So whenever we come across one we'll stop to check them out. At the end of the day, a sub shop is a sub shop. Unless they offer something completely out of ordinary whether it be secret ingredient or an experience, you're there to get a sandwich. JM has the "juice" that differenciates them from the others but I can also see it might not come off as a big deal for some. This was the case for some of my current colleagues. Wife's particular pallet tells me that this particular branch has subpar bread, and veggie ingredients are not as fresh as other branches, which takes a bit away from the taste of the subs as a whole. I wasn't bothered as much about the freshness, but did notice the lack of organization at the store. I'm sure it being as young as it is, it will take a bit more time before they get settled into a good system. I'll look forward to the days of in-and-out experience that it normally offers. I've visited twice in one day, and already the service seemed faster with the night crew. I still have hopes of bumping them up to 5 stars. read more

First visit was a success so we decided to have it again today. Very disappointed. Got the steak and cheese sub (#17) and it was good except much more peppers and onions than the previous visit. Also ordered a #7 (Turkey and Provolone) came with...... Turkey, peppers and onions??? I threw it in the garbage when we got back home and saw what was on it. I gave it a chance. Good idea, but the Philly I received was pretty much mush because of an overload of sauce - some sort of Mayo. It just killed the sandwich. I'm still trying to decide to go back. Reminds me of Penn Station, but no fries and not as tasty. read more

From my experience, I could not see anyone rating Jersey Mike's lower than 5 stars. I would give it a 6, if that existed. I was born and raised in NJ and these subs are "true" subs. Other places that sell subs do not hold a candle to Jersey Mike's! I don't even consider them subs. I always get Mike's Special since that is what I had in all my years at the Jersey shore. Each time I enter the store, I feel like "I'm home". I have found the staff and management to be very friendly. I had an experience about a year ago in which I inadvertently left my Visa card there. The manager drove from the Secor Road location to South Toledo to bring me the card! I was amazed that he went out of his way to be so accommodating. Jersey Mike's is it for me!!!!!! read more

This place sucks. They got new management recently and the whole store has taken a complete turn. I really think this is a problem with all fast food restaurants in the city of Toledo. You have to check your order before you leave the store. I ordered a cheese steak with sweet peppers and extra cheese...... NO cheese at all. Now this wouldn't be a problem if I didn't live across town and could take it back. However..... I get home and have a dry cheese steak. I just threw it away. Trash. I've had food at Jersey Mikes all over the country. First one to screw up an order is in my home town. How long does it take to make two subs? DoorDash just sent me an email informing me that my order has been cancelled because Jersey Mike's has closed. I'm giving 2 stars because I think there's a chance to be good because they do have hot subs i feel will be better...i got a Italian sub which once they dump a stupid amount of sauce on it i was excited but the oil vinegar mix they used tasted like water dumped on bread wet and no flavor at ALL....I feel it's was a over priced subway...it is freshly cut meat....but 10 bucks for a 6 inch sub only that taste like a sabdwhich i make at home with a sub bun bread( i could make 10 of these sabdwhichs for 14 bucks and they would be better) now i will say its better than firehouse sub (which my 13 year old could make a better tasting sandwhich than firehouse).but if anyone had a penn station near try that and u will understand why this place isn't good. Last thing is when ordering sub be very clear what u want or they just make it mikes way....which is to much lettuce tomatos and water(oil vinger mix) that i dont think they know how to prepare. All said and done i give a 5/10 on sandwhich but 3/10 total because the coat doesnt match the taste...i may even eat subway over this place read more

The manager is very rude. They made the sandwich wrong because of a mistake ordering on their app and the manager made a scene and refused to acknowledge fault or replace the incorrectly made order. I've read similar reviews about their rude manager. It's a shame. I went there often but they will no longer receive any of my business because of that one rude manager. read more

A first timer here and I'm not impressed. We ordered 6 items for carryout. All of the sandwiches were prepared on white bread even though we had specified others. The 2 tubs were bagged vertically instead of horizontally so the ingredients were messed up. Lettuce was wilted. Didn't taste all that great; maybe equivalent to Subway. My boyfriend and I went for the first time Sunday 9-30-18. About 8:20pm didn't realized they closed at 9 but I didn't think it'd be a big deal. Apparently it was as we walked in the look on everyone's face was very dissatisfied. They're cleaning or potentially pre closing and wasn't so friendly. Asked us did we want hot or cold before we could even make up our mind being it was out first time. The energy wasn't good. Nonetheless we still tried it. I got the #14 and my boyfriend had the #42. It was very delicious but I believe the staff could have done a better job welcoming us and not looking like we took there check because we came in 40 mins before closing! After hearing coworkers rave decided to try it. Service was fast & friendly, store was bright and clean. Got 2 (cold) italian style subs & a (hot) cheesesteak and 2 cookies. Everything was delicious, but not don't get the raving from coworkers...taste-wise its on par with jimmy johns & penn station. (My usual go-to places for subs) In Jm's favor, they do seem to put more meat on than jj's. The cookies I got were great; large size--split one with kiddo, lots of chocolate, & super soft. My wife and I have become Jersey Mike's fans having eaten at several around the country. I stopped by the new location a week or so ago and was not disappointed.
