My daughter and I came here last night, about 30 minutes before closing. There were two people and only three customers. The two ahead of us were helped and we didn't have to wait long at all. Even though we already ate dinner, we wanted a snack lol. The lady that helped us was really nice and thorough as to what we wanted on our sandwich. We ordered the number 8, my favorite number by the way! We got the Giant Club Sub which includes turkey, ham, Applewood smoked bacon, Provolone and mayo. We got it Mike's Way, but no onions since I am allergic to them. This sandwich was so good when my daughter and I split it when we got home! We also ordered 3 chocolate chips cookies. They were so fresh and delicious. It was nice to go here to a clean place and get a wonderfully made sub!!! Highly recommend and we will be back!!

    "Gluten free" lol

Why would they hollow out the bread? My girlfriend ordered a sandwich with gluten free bread and they went to the back and scraped out the inside of the bread. Maybe I'm wrong and that's the way they do gluten free? But I don't think so lol She couldn't eat the sandwich with the bread because it didn't taste good. We're suspicious the bread may have had mold and that's why it was taken to the back and scraped out? Either way it wasn't right

Quality of the food is good. Service is average. The cost is a little pricy. I ordered the giant turkey and provolone. Filled me up big time so the portions are generous but $16.95 for a sandwich is a bit much even in this economy. My daughter loves Mikes Famous Philly. It's her go to sandwich. As a picky eater she gets it plain but it always pleases the appetite.

Asked for my gluten-free bread to be toasted first and asked for extra jalapeños This is a $20 sandwich

Ask them to toast the gluten-free bread first and asked for extra jalapeños. This is a $20 sandwich. SMH

Uneaten pastrami from my sandwich. Couldn't even chew it.

I literally called this morning for a last-minute order my pregnant sister wanted to make all her food for her baby shower and she's stressed out this morning and I said you know what I'm going to call old world and see if they can do it and they were able to make me 18 quarts of macaroni salad last minute and they did it with a smile !! If you we're thinking of ordering food for your party from here, please do it and all their food is always fresh and so delicious. I'm so thankful. Thank you again KARMA

Grabbed the Italian Grinder. It was decent in terms of taste, but too pricey for what I got…read more Sandwich is small and they aren't very generous with the meats. Staff was polite and they are located in a plaza with plenty of parking for convenience. I probably won't come back due to what felt like an inconsistency with the pricing and quantity/quality. I would pay 10 dollars max for what I received, not $17. I don't think the problem with the sandwich was the quality of the meat when I referred to quality I meant more in the care it takes to assemble and produce a balanced bite. When I bit into the sandwich, it tasted more like a salad than a sub. The proportions were off. They also have pasta and pizza so maybe those are better choices to check out on your visit.

If you're looking for some of the best eats you've ever had ... I literally drive all the way from the SFV to come to this place when I'm craving a delicious sandwich and the best chocolate chip cookie you can buy. Italian dishes made fresh and even to go options galore. It's like a boutique deli grocery store. Parking: small free parking lot on site ( literally only 4 spaces) + handicap parking. There is a lot across the street you can park at as well. Ambiance: Rustic, quaint, casual. But cute enough to have a date at as there is limited seating. Trust me, if your date likes some good Seating: seat yourself. small tables though, up to 4 maybe 6 people max. And cute two people tables for a sweet date. Food: Prosciutto de Parma with pesto mayo is my go to. I even ask for them to today it because I like the miserable melted. I'll be honest and say I don't like cheese... Except the mozzarella they have here, it's exquisite. Secret ingredient is there pesto mayo. It elevated an already tasty sandwich to an incredibly delectable masterpiece with the prosciutto slightly toasted. Turkey Sandwich: hearty and so fresh. My husband loves this. Pick up hair pink sauce and some fresh pasta too! This place has so many options to try out! Chocolate chip cookie: do not leave this place without trying their cookie. They sell out quick too so call ahead and reserve it!

Imagine the Soup Nazi but with less charm and harsher stares. I asked a simple question about the menu and got a response that felt like I'd violated a sacred oath. I half expected her to slam the counter and yell, "NO FETTUCCINE FOR YOU!" while banishing me from the premises. Still... the food is good enough that I might return. I'll just rehearse my order beforehand like it's a Broadway monologue.
