Three of the chattering staff members ignored me at the counter with no greeting, while I stood there... and then proceeded to ask the lady who walked in behind me "what she would like to order". I said to the big tall female employee that i had been waiting First and she ignored me again. She repeated the other customer's order. First time here, I've ordered here before but a long long time ago online. As soon as I walked in, as SOON as I glanced at the menu I was asked what I wanted to order, which is great and I love the enthusiasm but the menu is compact, and overwhelming. While it mentioned all the popular sandwiches and a rundown of what was in them it seems there's not a TON that can be added or so it appears. It seems very "we serve what you see." I got the Club Sub and it mentioned applewood smoked bacon as part of the ingredients (one might say it's the only thing that made it a "club sub") but I actually didn't get a single sliver of bacon on mine!! I've been to this location 2 times in the past year and both times the employees have had horrible attitudes don't say weldome when you enter don't acknowledge you at all until they are taking are order. This time that I went I order a Philly and it was dripping from the bottom so much it was spilling over the paper. I told them what I wanted and I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. My Sandwhich was made just as I ordered it with delicious, fresh ingredients. The store is a nice size providing some indoor as well as outdoor seating. Parking is easy with spots nearby though there are a few stores close by that share those spots. If you want to reduce your salt, get it without bread in a bowl, still excellent and all the same choices of toppings and meats, etc. The parking area is in a big lot, easy to get into and out of. We got to the place, asked if our order was ready (because there was no line) and 4 workers... 4 workers looked around, and just noticed our order and says "oh we're still working on it"... totally fine. But the 4 workers were still very distracted talking to each other and we waited another 15 minutes. And then... when they finished our order, they didn't even call our name when we said our name earlier... my husband had to go back to the cash register and ask AGAIN, if our order was ready. And then they said "oh yeah, here you go" and proceeds to talk to each other. Where is the manager? This location always gets the order wrong. Today I went in with my Mom and they were dirty as well as still getting our order wrong. Two of the employees were cleaning the counter, one was cleaning the meat slicer with rags while wearing gloves, they used the same gloves to prepare the sandwhiches. This is also an issue with us because we are vegetarians and they handled a bunch of meat and the meat slicer before touching all of our food. There's a reason we are vegetarian...we don't want animal in our food. I know some don't realize this, but as far as cleaning things with rags and using the same gloves you use on the food we are eating is pretty gross. BTW, I suspect I got food poisoning from this place a couple of years ago ( now I see why). When my Mom made a comment to the boy there about not changing the gloves he was rude to her and challenged her making a comment about "every time?" having to do with changing the gloves. This also leads me to believe they are not taught by the manager to be doing this. And actually, kid with an attitude, yes, you are suppose to change them every time...and you had plenty of time to change them as well...I saw you keep cleaning the same stuff on the counter trying to look busy when you weren't...you could have changed them then. And also the customers always right...just be quite and don't argue...you are lucky my mom let it go. BUt here is what it says on the internet. "Why discard after each use? Cross-contamination: Reusing gloves can transfer bacteria, viruses, or other harmful substances from one task or surface to another, increasing the risk of infection. Gave the benefit of the doubt and will be my last visit. The young gal that prepared my giant sandwich needs to follow listening skills and be retrained as well as the other gal that cut my sandwich which had a rude attitude after explaining how I wanted my order and threw my sandwich in bag. Tonight was fun. I ordered two different sandwiches. They mixed them up entirely. We called and asked to have a new one made and retold them the way we'd like it. I had to drive back to pick it up, which was a nuisance, but not the worst since I was excited for my correctly made sandwich. WELP. Nope. The Tuna and the Original Italian are our favorite sandwiches at Jersey Mikes. Kids get the Turkey. We are creatures of habit and have ordered the same at multiple locations. When in town, I drive past a different Jersey Mike's on my way to this location. I mostly order via the app and have yet to have a bad experience doing so. The sandwiches are always as requested, in a timely manner, labeled with each person's name and tasting great. I appreciate that! Hallelujah Jersey Mike's on Magic has redeemed itself! Decided to give this location another try and ordered inside the store this time. Jasmyne and another girl helped me out with an Italian on regular with turkey substituted for the ham. The sandwich was fresh and tasty as always, piled high with meats and toppings, fresh soft bread, and everything was correct! Both girls helping me were super friendly and made sure everything was in order. I can't say if the online orders are to worry about or it was just an off day on my last visit (more than likely it was simply an off day) but I'm glad to see things in order and everything is great again. Today my kid said they were doing a donation to her school for journalism so we stopped in. Calling before hand for our order which was ready in minutes. Recommend the cheese rosemary bread!? Idk if that's the correct term but "home girl" over here gets the giant size with mustard and Mayo sometimes mikes way. With the olive oil and vinegar depending if ima eat it right away. The good: I like their shredded lettuce on the sandwiches. I tried the number 4 (provolone, prosciuttini and cappacuolo) and the turkey and provolone sandwich. I also like that most of their sandwiches come standard with "the juice" (red wine vinegar and olive oil mixture). Outside of sandwiches, they sell chips, cookies, brownies, salads and soft drinks. The bad: There was too much mayo in one of the sandwiches and it was overall pretty wet. The bread at the bottom got soggy quickly. The pickled peppers and vinegar made the sandwich pretty acidic and sour (more so than your average pickled vegetables). The bread was pretty white and seemed like it could have been tastier if it was more browned. The interesting: They sell gift cards and a lot of merchandise with their name on it. The merchandise includes electronics, skim boards, clothes, backpacks longboards, hammocks, snow scrapers and a bunch of other random items. read more

Came here for lunch with my son. We were greeted when we walked in but there was only a couple of customers and our order seem to take quite a while. We ordered two sandwiches and chips the total was just under $20 (kind of pricey) since in SCV they have a local merchant discount card called the 25Score card which I think saved us 10%. Anyway, the sandwiches were good and Yara did a good job of making them. I knocked off a star because of the bit of a wait and the tables weren't cleaned off even though there was enough people working to take care of it, but they got cleaned while were were there. Before I get into detail it is of my opinion that this is the greatest sandwich establishment that has ever been established for eating. My goodness the food is delicious my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I always get the 12 inch club sub Mike's way without onions or tomatoes and my goodness it is so good. It is pretty reasonably priced too. The workers there know how to make a sandwich mean these workers must learn the science of sandwich making or something because their food is delectable. My only complaint is that when I order food it seems that NPCs come out of nowhere and decide to also order food. The NPCs always throw the atmosphere off but whatever.
