My go to for sandwiches at lunch. You simply cannot go wrong with jersey mikes. Service can be a bit quicker but can't complain much.

Yelp should have a way to give negative stars. Stay away from this Jersey Mike's. Jersey Mike's already gives little meat for their prices but tonight takes the cake. Word to the wise, if you somehow end up going to this Jersey Mike's and ask for ANY extra meat please KNOW THIS, although the sandwich tech will say "there is an extra charge for extra meat" just know they do not openly tell you what the extra fee will be. MAKE SURE TO ASK; I did not. I assumed it was like other sandwiches places $2-$3 extra. I was absolutely wrong; $5.59 is the extra fee. That is pretty much another sandwich. The last photo is what they are considering extra meat. Please look at the photo's I posted to see exactly what you will receive for $41.09 from this Jersey Mike's Subs (sandwiches; NOT steak or lobster. A SANDWICH. A $41 sandwich kids. a S A N D W I C H). 1 sandwich 1 small bag of lays chips 1 brownie 1 small Gatorade Total= $41.09 and I gave a $3 because I absolutely did not realize I was being charged $41.09 for basically a sack lunch. So $44.09 in total. Jersey Mike's, I should have stuck to my guns and kept the promise I made to myself a few years ago when I said, I would never go back to Jersey Mike's. I guess I can say this is my fault. I'm actually kind of glad that I went there tonight because I have a Production on Monday and I was going to have the Production Cordinator order a few platters of sandwiches, chips, and drinks for the crews first meal from this Jersey Mike's. Talk about a close one! We have a nice budget for crafty, first and second meal (if we roll into second meal) but with this stores non-upfront disclosure on pricing for certain things, they may take too much of the production budget and we'll be forced to film on phones or use flipbooks! read more

The sandwich was extremely soggy, which has never happened during my previous visits. What made the experience worse was the attitude from the employee who made it. Instead of simply addressing the issue, he seemed upset that I didn't like the sandwich and started giving unnecessary explanations in a rude and unprofessional tone. When ordering the employee never wrote it down but rather tried memorizing it instead, I asked to customize my sub to be met with a confused look. they never asked what bread i wanted or condiments, It seemed as if they were just trying to take down my order to get it over with. the ambiance wasn't very welcoming either the employees just try getting you in and out. read more

Good food, bad service, every time. All Employees are kind of rude and it was not busy either. Never asked me what bread I prefer or what size. Been driving by this building many times on my way to visit customer and back and always felt like stopping by, since I love the philly cheesesteak at Jersey Mike's. Today was my lucky day of driving back at lunch time. Coming up the parallel Alameda street on the east side, there was an opening to turn into the corner plaza before the actual building, perfect. The building setup has lot of stores that are empty, but the parking lot was all full, except for 1 spot! Jersey Mike's ended up being the very corner unit in the plaza, so rest assured it's there if you don't see it upon initial entering into the lot. I guess most of the cars parked are for Jersey Mike's. Nice small unit but seemed to be working fine for lunch time. Was 2nd in line and proceeded to order the philly cheesesteak regular size to go. A friendly gal took the order and got one of the guys to start making it since they grill the beef fresh when ordered. By the time I moved down the line to pay the cashier, my name was called and handed off by a friendly guy who made it I guess. Nice efficiency, and all the employees seemed nice and the store clean. I'll be looking to drop by again the next time I am passing by during lunch time. I remember their cold italian sandwich was also great done the "mike's way". Was craving a Jersey Mike sandwich at work today, so I yelped the closes one to me. The one on 8th and hope was the closest, but chose this one because it has a fairly large parking lot to park in. Have you ever tried looking for parking around 8th and Hope, around lunch time, could be a challenge. Nice little shopping center, in an area dominated by industrial businesses. Has a nice public quad area with plenty of tables and chairs to have your lunch. With Jersey Mike's, everything was ok, with the exception of a couple of small issues. The sandwich maker & cashier were great, working their butts off, but the guy on the grill needs to learn how to multi task. Ordered the Philly cheese steak and he didnt get the meat on the grill until after he finished making the sandwich from the previous order, clean the grill, restock all of his ingredients containers. Then after all that, he then places the beef for my sandwich on the grill. If he would of had the meat on the grill cooking, I wouldn't of have had to wait so long for my sandwich. Line was getting long and he didn't show any urgency, maybe he was lacking in cooking experience. The other issue that I had was the size of the sandwich, a little on the small size, was still hungry after eating it. I have ordered multiple times on app delivery and for some reason this store cannot get a double meat order correct, tried calling the store many time to complain but the call always goes to voicemail so there is no way to get a manager to get this corrected. I have even called the corporate helpline and was told to contact the store directly and as usual the phone goes to voicemail and never get a return phone call. This chain restaurant is known for doing its subs Mike's way which includes: Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Wine Vinegar, Olive Oil, and Spices on your sandwich. I normally don't get all of this but was surprised when the person doing my order had no idea what the spices were... Note that you can ask for mushrooms for free which makes me wonder if there's any other non-visible topping in their store which can be added for free. I got a giant sub which cost me $15.48. I would give zero stars if I can. The "district manager" Jose was attempting to help customers and was awful. When I tried to order, I felt rushed and he was not listening to what I was asking. I normally do not have this problem with the other staff. If he is the district manager, he should have better people skills or not hold that title. I love Jersey Mike's! Every Friday, the company serves free lunch for all the employees being we are all "Kabobed" and Fried "Chickened" out a sub option was a welcome alternative. We ordered from their catering menu - the Jersey Mike's Big Box of 10 ( 3 orders of them) itdefinitely fed the entire staff. I particularly love the tuna sub and the BLT. The tuna sub was flavorful and not too fishy, the BLT was also delish, add a slice of jalapeno in there and you got yourself a winner! Definitely filling and the bread freshly made! So good!! Jersey Mikes has the best subs out of any place in socal and all of the USA! Subway is garbage compared to Jersey Mikes and the other sub places cant touch Jersey Mikes either. I love the point system for Jersey Mikes which I dont see any other sub shop have other than maybe Firehouse subs. My go-to sub is the giant number 99 which you dont see on the menu. The 99 is the big khauna with just chipotle mayo added to it. The staff is always friendly and make sure that you get your sub the way you want it. read more

I've placed large and small orders here 6 times and always online for pick up. Sandwiches are accurate ( I don't make any special requests) and order has always been ready on time. Unfortunately the place is very small and if you have an online order to pick up you have to weave your way through tables to get to the front of a 6-10 people deep line to retrieve your order. I'll preface with I'm currently hungry and annoyed. This is the second time I've called ahead to try to expedite the process. Second time I've walked in PAST the quoted 10min ready time, to find only two other people waiting for their food. Today, the guy said he didn't see the ticket and that he didn't start on on because my name was spelled wrong. Not sure why the spelling of my name matters, and i hadn't even asked why it wasn't done yet. The rant is because it's the Second time I've asked for the sandwich to be heated... and it wasn't done. I'm aware (and prefer) they don't use a microwave to heat the sandwich. Today when the person preparing the sandwich tells me "I didn't know it was supposed to be heated". The tone was blame & not apologetic. when i said i ordered it that way, he responded with "we don't have a toaster or microwave" - implying he either doesn't know how to use the grill (like the person on the phone who took my order said) or doesn't WANT TO warm the sandwich. Okay Fine. They're late and I don't want to stand there anymore. But as I'm walking out - THE SAME guy, who moments ago seemed lost as to how to heat the sandwich, told the very next customer "it'll be just a couple minutes to heat those sandwiches". There was no warning or disclaimer for the delay. Emailed store to complain, store manager pretty much stated they can delay orders anytime they want to with no notice to customers.
