chicken schnitzel salad
Masha S.

Probably the best bowl I've ever had! I can't recall the exact name but it came with a huge piece of chicken schnitzel and the salad was delicious too. I don't live nearby but if I did, I would go here all the time. It's definitely a great value for the money.

Good was good and the staff was super friendly. I'd like to try some other stuff...at another location. This location and entire area is not for the faint of heart. While sitting outside trying to eat our food multiple people tried to sit down with us and aggressively take our food.

My boyfriend picked me up from LAX, so we decided to try this place my old roommate used to rave about, and there was definitely a reason for it. It was the weekend, so it was a little hard to find parking in this area but not impossible, thankfully. The inside is very cute, quiet, and small, although there's not really space to eat inside, so we decided to take our sandwiches to eat by the beach. The man who took our order was very nice, although we could tell they were very busy since he was multitasking while taking our order. The food, however, so so good. I have been craving it since we got it. I decided to get the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. Granted, I always love a Caesar salad, it is my favorite of the salads, but their dressing was very peppery, and they even gave us extra to pour on top as a side (which I am grateful for because I douse all my food in extra sauce). My boyfriend got the Spicy Vodka Parm Sandwich, which is a hot sandwich with Mozzarella, Chicken Cutlets, and Vodka Sauce. This was also very good; however, it did give us a little bit of heartburn, but not unexpectedly as it was a tomato-based spicy sandwich, so it was worth it. It was averagely priced as well, so I would definitely come back next time I'm in LA. I will say that we did have to wait a while for our food. We attributed it to them being very busy, and it was our fault for getting hot food if we wanted it fast, so we weren't upset by it; we just will keep that in mind for the next time.

Fast service, great sandwiches and great wraps. A great option if you're looking to pick something up and enjoy on the beach.

Ggiata located in Venice is super close to the ocean! This place offers fresh sandwiches that can be taken to the beach or wherever you'd like to go. They also have a few tables and chairs outside for you to sit at. I ordered the spicy chicken parm for mine and my friend had the Italian with a side of arancini. The side of arancini tasted so delicious and I would say you need to separately order it for how many people you have. We only got one and I thought it wasn't enough. The spicy chicken parm wasn't spicy wish it was a tad bit more but overall it was still good and I would come back to try the other sandwich items they have as well.

Pastrami sandwich and a cheesecake

Very cool lookin place. The owner did a great job decorating this sandwich shop. Now back to the cons - its not recommended eating inside because the loud speaker is blasting loud music and you feel uncomfortable. I got pastrami sandwich with a cheesecake. Cheesecake was most likely outsourced - was a high quality and tasty desert. Sandwich was pretty tasty too. But the chewy meat and stale hard to chew bread is what made it bad. Like have you guys tried your own product? And it end up being $26 with no drink lol. Overpriced overhyped mediocre food.

The restaurant is right next to the Venice sign so you'll get a lot of tourists here. I've always gotten a different sandwich each time and the best part is that it's on InKind so you'll can order and comeback to get your food while you take some pictures. Service is alright and can be hit or miss. The decor is decent and fits in with the Southern California vibe

Caesar wrap with grilled chicken

The Caesar wrap with grilled chicken is quite possibly the best wrap I've ever had. The Caesar salad itself is fresh and wonderfully flavored with a fantastic Caesar dressing. The grilled chicken is reminiscent of thinly sliced chicken shawarma, packing both the flavors of being roasted and a nice marinade. Many people probably opt for the crispy chicken cutlet, but I think the grilled chicken is a clear winner. Crispy thin chicken often tends to be on the dry side. And c'mon if you're going to have a salad wrap, you might as well make it with grilled chicken and not fried. The wrap either way is going to be delicious. The tortilla is also fresh and perfectly chewy and robust enough to keep the wrap together without being too dense. But the best part is the Caesar ranch dressing that comes on the side. If you like your ranch dressing to be onion and garlic forward, you will love this dressing as much as I do. Hands down the best ranch dressing and it levels up the flavor of each bite to a ten. (Pro tip, if you have any French fries, chips or fresh vegetable sticks nearby, dip away. It is perfect). The shop is small, busy and not air conditioned, so the wait might feel a little tedious. But this wrap makes it all worthwhile,

Visited this Ggiata for the first time on a holiday. It's a small location with a few tables inside and on the busy sidewalk. Like most locations in this area, there is no dedicated parking lot. We parked along a curb about 3/4 of a mile away. The menu was posted on the wall and we ordered at the counter. We ordered The Madeline,The Draper, Buttermill Biscuits & Jam, The Eggplant Parm, Rosemary Parm Hash Browns and The Turk. The wait for our food was about 30 minutes. But since they took my number to notify us when our food was ready, we took a walk in the area. Our food was delicious! The sandwiches were large and quite filling. The veggies in the sandwiches tasted incredible fresh. The favorite of the meal was hands-down, the biscuits and jam. The crust was light and crisp with good consistency (think muffin top). The inside was super light and fluffy with perfect chewiness. The jam was perfectly sweet and tangy. Service was helpful and friendly. There was no restroom. We will definitely return.

Where has this place been my entire life?! Ggiata has officially taken over my cravings, and I'm not mad about it. I am addicted to the crispy chicken Caesar wrap--and I don't use that word lightly. Hands down the best chicken Caesar wrap I've ever had. The chicken is perfectly crispy, the Caesar is bold and flavorful, the wrap is perfectly balanced, and somehow it all just works. No sogginess, no skimping--just straight-up perfection every single time. It is a little on the spicy side so if you don't like a kick, ask for no peppers. I've reached the point where I'm ordering it multiple times a week, and it never gets old. If you're even remotely considering it, stop thinking and just order the wrap. Ggiata, you've ruined all other chicken Caesar wraps for me--and I thank you for it. Prices are fair, but there is no ambiance at this location at all. Unfortunately there are frequent homeless people going in and out of the restaurant- I guess that's just the area? I also wish there were tables to eat inside, not just one small counter facing the wall.

Spicy P
Daniel B.

Mixed review. Overall the food was good, but the taste was not what I was expecting. The Spicy P was not spicy at all, I repeat, there was not an ounce of spice taste. I was waiting to have more complex flavors, even bites of more salt, but there wasn't that. The best bites had the basil, but the rest was middle of the road. The food came out quick and hot. The little store was cute. I don't know if I'd return.

such a delicious sandwich! I ordered this for delivery so I can't speak to service or ambiance but the sandwich itself was great.

This man right here, provided me with the best service. Help me figure out what wrap I was looking for. Thank you Oscar.

Yummy sandwiches. Large. A bit expensive though. The turkey I got was yummy but didn't care for the sweet sauce used in it.

My review to you my love…read more United Bowl Nation in Marina del Rey is truly a one-of-a-kind Mediterranean gem -- a place that touches your heart as much as your palate. From the moment you walk in, you feel it: every single staff member, including the wonderful owner Orcun, pours their heart and soul into creating a truly special experience. The warmth, sincerity, and care are felt instantly. The service is simply outstanding -- attentive, professional, and incredibly kind. You are never just a customer here; you are a welcomed guest. Their knowledge of wine is remarkable. The team guides you through their beautiful wine selection with such passion and detail, it feels like being introduced to wine by true gourmet connoisseurs. And the food... out of this world. I adore Mediterranean cuisine, but this place takes it to another level. This is Mediterranean heaven. Every dish is a perfect harmony of taste, presentation, and soul. It's not just food -- it's art. Each plate feels thoughtfully designed, deeply flavorful, and made with love. United Bowl Nation is more than a restaurant -- it's an experience. A rare place where excellence, heart, and authenticity come together beautifully. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Orcun, for reminding us that when food is made with love and served with heart, it becomes unforgettable. This place is a gift. And thank you UBN Team, your passion, kindness, and artistry are felt in every detail. BRAVO

Really wanted to love this place based on the reviews, but unfortunately a lot was left to be…read moredesired. We came in during Happy Hour and ordered the Beef Cigar Rolls ($18.50), the Slow Roasted Beet Salad ($24.95), and a glass of red wine ($15.50). Those three items alone came out to $67 after tax, which made the rest of the experience even more disappointing. The woman at the front did not honor the Happy Hour price on the Beef Cigar Rolls, even though their sign clearly says Happy Hour is from 5-7pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The Beef Cigar Rolls themselves were just okay. The yogurt mint sauce was good, but the "wagyu" filling was fairly dry when you tasted it on its own. The Slow Roasted Beet Salad was especially disappointing for the $25 price. It was mostly a large pile of lettuce with dressing, raw cuts of cauliflower (not cauliflower rice as mentioned), and only a few beets -- with no carrots, even though they're listed on the menu. Another confusing part was the menus. They seem to have three different versions -- the website, the framed menu at the restaurant, and the printed paper menus -- and they don't match. Some Happy Hour items aren't listed on any menus, just the outdoor sign, and some items on the website aren't on the printed menu. Overall, maybe it was just an off day, but between the service and the food quality not matching the price, I wouldn't come back.
