Do not walk by this spot! They have the BEST Caesar wrap in LA. Hands down! It's GOLDEN! (Get the crispy- carb free on days that end in Y)

I appreciate this spot. One of my favorite beach meals. Easy. Good food, decent prices, great quality ingredients. The service is always nice. They were so busy with online orders when I got there, ridiculous amount lined up along the counters in their tiny prep area. Hustling hard! I still got my walk in order quickly. Nice werrkkk. I love their salads, chop was excellent today. Obsessed with the eggplant fries. Seasoned well and comes with a delicious aioli dip. Hard to decide with so many great options on the menu.

Probably the best bowl I've ever had! I can't recall the exact name but it came with a huge piece of chicken schnitzel and the salad was delicious too. I don't live nearby but if I did, I would go here all the time. It's definitely a great value for the money.

Ordered online, super easy pick up. Sandwiches were amazing. Not from the area but will definitely go if I ever visit again!

Ggiata deserves their flowers. I always order an Italian sandwich whenever I try a new deli, and this is THE one... 5/5 Italian Sandwich - Ggiata figured out the golden ratio. There are a few details that make their Italian stand out: the bread is on the thinner side, toasted, and textured with sesame seeds. The banana peppers cut through all the layers of meat and cheese. Overall, a satisfying and thoughtfully-constructed sandwich. There wasn't a line to order, but the kitchen was busy with pick-up and delivery orders. I also think this is more of a to-go situation because seating is very limited, but you can enjoy your sandwich on the beach just a few steps away. Worth the 30-minute wait and inconvenient parking in Venice, lol.

    Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap

My boyfriend picked me up from LAX, so we decided to try this place my old roommate used to rave about, and there was definitely a reason for it. It was the weekend, so it was a little hard to find parking in this area but not impossible, thankfully. The inside is very cute, quiet, and small, although there's not really space to eat inside, so we decided to take our sandwiches to eat by the beach. The man who took our order was very nice, although we could tell they were very busy since he was multitasking while taking our order. The food, however, so so good. I have been craving it since we got it. I decided to get the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. Granted, I always love a Caesar salad, it is my favorite of the salads, but their dressing was very peppery, and they even gave us extra to pour on top as a side (which I am grateful for because I douse all my food in extra sauce). My boyfriend got the Spicy Vodka Parm Sandwich, which is a hot sandwich with Mozzarella, Chicken Cutlets, and Vodka Sauce. This was also very good; however, it did give us a little bit of heartburn, but not unexpectedly as it was a tomato-based spicy sandwich, so it was worth it. It was averagely priced as well, so I would definitely come back next time I'm in LA. I will say that we did have to wait a while for our food. We attributed it to them being very busy, and it was our fault for getting hot food if we wanted it fast, so we weren't upset by it; we just will keep that in mind for the next time.

Ggiata located in Venice is super close to the ocean! This place offers fresh sandwiches that can be taken to the beach or wherever you'd like to go. They also have a few tables and chairs outside for you to sit at. I ordered the spicy chicken parm for mine and my friend had the Italian with a side of arancini. The side of arancini tasted so delicious and I would say you need to separately order it for how many people you have. We only got one and I thought it wasn't enough. The spicy chicken parm wasn't spicy wish it was a tad bit more but overall it was still good and I would come back to try the other sandwich items they have as well.

Fast service, great sandwiches and great wraps. A great option if you're looking to pick something up and enjoy on the beach.

Food was good and the staff was super friendly. I'd like to try some other stuff...at another location. This location and entire area is not for the faint of heart. While sitting outside trying to eat our food multiple people tried to sit down with us and aggressively take our food.

    Caesar wrap with grilled chicken
    Kevin L.

The Caesar wrap with grilled chicken is quite possibly the best wrap I've ever had. The Caesar salad itself is fresh and wonderfully flavored with a fantastic Caesar dressing. The grilled chicken is reminiscent of thinly sliced chicken shawarma, packing both the flavors of being roasted and a nice marinade. Many people probably opt for the crispy chicken cutlet, but I think the grilled chicken is a clear winner. Crispy thin chicken often tends to be on the dry side. And c'mon if you're going to have a salad wrap, you might as well make it with grilled chicken and not fried. The wrap either way is going to be delicious. The tortilla is also fresh and perfectly chewy and robust enough to keep the wrap together without being too dense. But the best part is the Caesar ranch dressing that comes on the side. If you like your ranch dressing to be onion and garlic forward, you will love this dressing as much as I do. Hands down the best ranch dressing and it levels up the flavor of each bite to a ten. (Pro tip, if you have any French fries, chips or fresh vegetable sticks nearby, dip away. It is perfect). The shop is small, busy and not air conditioned, so the wait might feel a little tedious. But this wrap makes it all worthwhile,

    Pastrami sandwich and a cheesecake
    Dan L.

Very cool lookin place. The owner did a great job decorating this sandwich shop. Now back to the cons - its not recommended eating inside because the loud speaker is blasting loud music and you feel uncomfortable. I got pastrami sandwich with a cheesecake. Cheesecake was most likely outsourced - was a high quality and tasty desert. Sandwich was pretty tasty too. But the chewy meat and stale hard to chew bread is what made it bad. Like have you guys tried your own product? And it end up being $26 with no drink lol. Overpriced overhyped mediocre food.

The restaurant is right next to the Venice sign so you'll get a lot of tourists here. I've always gotten a different sandwich each time and the best part is that it's on InKind so you'll can order and comeback to get your food while you take some pictures. Service is alright and can be hit or miss. The decor is decent and fits in with the Southern California vibe

Visited this Ggiata for the first time on a holiday. It's a small location with a few tables inside and on the busy sidewalk. Like most locations in this area, there is no dedicated parking lot. We parked along a curb about 3/4 of a mile away. The menu was posted on the wall and we ordered at the counter. We ordered The Madeline,The Draper, Buttermill Biscuits & Jam, The Eggplant Parm, Rosemary Parm Hash Browns and The Turk. The wait for our food was about 30 minutes. But since they took my number to notify us when our food was ready, we took a walk in the area. Our food was delicious! The sandwiches were large and quite filling. The veggies in the sandwiches tasted incredible fresh. The favorite of the meal was hands-down, the biscuits and jam. The crust was light and crisp with good consistency (think muffin top). The inside was super light and fluffy with perfect chewiness. The jam was perfectly sweet and tangy. Service was helpful and friendly. There was no restroom. We will definitely return.

Yummy sandwiches. Large. A bit expensive though. The turkey I got was yummy but didn't care for the sweet sauce used in it.

My go to is the Seoul bowl it's so good and perfectly marinated while still being health conscious 5/5. The newer tikka masala has been a fav lately- it's veggie based but the spices and flavor are on point, just as delicious as a non-vegan dish! I think with soy meat it could be even better, I'll see if that's an option next time. West coast shrimp side is really satisfying and savory. I rly should try more items here but it's hard to deviate from my favs haha. |[ s i p ]| Drinks are also decent but the star for me here is the food. I really look forward to more new food items to come. |[ n o t e s ]| Parking lot is small and kinda hit or miss but it's worth it. :) Ambiance- cute brunch spot while still health conscious.

Delightful and tasty hidden gem on Washington Blvd in Marina del Rey. There are several places in…read morethe area, but Variable stands apart with their flavorful and satisfying vegan menu. While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.
