I ordered the club, regular size. The service was quick, which I appreciated. The sandwich was the perfect size and filling. The sandwich was good, but I wasn't blown away. I'd be interested in trying some of their other options.

Welcome to GHOST sando shop. #gcm

Ghost Sando Shop is a delectable sandwich shop in Grand Centra Market, DTLA. They have a plethora of food items on their menu. I had a regular Tornado sandwich which is composed of crispy bbq chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and special sauce. I requested to exclude bacon. The sandwich was surprisingly tasty and flavorful. I rarely eat sandwich as my lunch but I want to be adventurous today. Staff were competent and professional. Price was surprisingly modest. Seats are available. Overall, I had a good sandwich. I'd recommend you visit.

A sandwich shop located in the grand central market. They seemed to have a lot of variety of sandwiches. I got a breakfast one called the wrong side of the bed. It comes with pastrami, tomato paste, hash brown, and a sunny side up egg. I got their shortie size but it was still HUGE! I fear what their other sizes will be lol I also got their strawberry juice it was pretty yummy. They offer refills as well. The guy at the counter was super nice and offered to cut my sammy when he saw my eyes widen to see how big it was. It really helped me eat clean! Wish them the best!

Came during the lunch rush on a Tuesday and man, GCM was packed! I opted for this store since the line was moving pretty fast in comparison, and sandwiches do not take long to make vs other places. Took about 10 minutes from the time of ordering to get my sandwich. I ordered the Melrose in a medium. I like how they give you a lot of meat, and how the sauces and seasonings don't feel overpowering. A medium is perfect for someone on their lunch, but might be a little big if you have even a slightly smaller appetite. The bacon could've been more crispy, but overall the sandwich lived up to the expectations. The bread was a little flat and not as crunchy/flavorful as I would've liked. I also wished they had more bread options other than dutch crunch, but maybe that's a possibility in the future. Although the shop's lines and employees may seem busy, they pump out food quickly at an affordable price that's guaranteed to fill you up. Definitely recommend for any tourist/local!

Been meaning to try ghost sando for awhile and finally got to check it off my list. We ordered the Melrose, which comes stacked with ham, turkey, and bacon, and it's such filling sandwich. We also tried the firebird, which comes with pastrami turkey, chipotle mayo and all the fixings. This one was my favorite. The meat ratio is great here. They're known for their Dutch crunch bread, which tastes amazing. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and it holds everything together perfectly. Service was quick and efficient, especially considering how busy GCM gets. I can definitely see why people call this one of the best sandwich spots in LA. Left very full and already mentally bookmarking it for my next sandwich craving.

We've been to the Burbank location and loved it. So I was very pleased to discover that ghost sando shop is in the Grand Central market. Through sandwiches are very good. Very beefy and definitely shareable.

I recently tried the spicy chicken sandwich at Ghost sando and it was a decent experience overall. The sandwich itself was fine - nicely crispy on chicken with Dutch crunch bread on the outside, which I appreciated. Interestingly, they also included ham on the other side of the sandwich. Less chicken though The regular size wasn't quite enough to satisfy a full craving - it felt more like a good snack-sized bite rather than a complete meal. If you're looking for something substantial, you might want to consider ordering additional items or getting the 2 larger sizes. The service was efficient, with quick ordering at the counter. The staff seemed to keep things moving smoothly. Would I go back? Yes, I'd be interested in trying different items on their menu to get a better sense of what they offer. While the spicy chicken sandwich didn't completely blow me away, it was solid enough to warrant another visit to explore their other options. Price $12 for regular size.

Wow! Might be one of the best sandwiches I have eaten, what makes it special is the crispy but soft bread (unlike those crusty bread that rips off the skin from the roof of your mouth, ouch!). Generously stuffed depending on the size of the sandwhich. I loved it so much I bought another one for my lunch. Yes, it's a bit pricey compared to other sandwich joints but it's quality! Very friendly and efficient staff. It's inside GCM so expect the crowd and the bustling market ambiance. Ordered the Niki and Club.

I was really craving a good sandwich for quite some time and the Ghost Sando Shop in Grand Central Market really satisfied my craving. The secret to what makes these sandwiches so special is the Dutch crunch bread. It's essentially a very soft bread that's fluffy on the inside but has a crunchy, slightly sweet coating that just makes for the perfect sandwich bread. The plot thickens once you get to what's inside the bread. The sandwich is jam packed with meats, cheese, veg, and sauce (the exact contents depend on which sandwich you choose). I chose the "Santa Monica" sandwich, which was packed with pastrami, turkey, bacon, melted pepper jack cheese, "Melrose Spread," roasted red peppers, and sprouts. This sandwich was jam-packed with flavor. The meats tasted fresh. I got the large size and it was a hefty sandwich - you will not be leaving this deli hungry, that's for sure. The service was good; they did take their time, but I appreciate that they made sure it was made fresh and up to par. It's a small stand In the Grand Central market, and they have both counter seating by the deli as well as plenty of tables just in front of the counter. I think this will be a regular for me anytime I visit Grand Central Market!

I was in Los Angeles and couldn't decide where to eat, but I love a good food hall, so I decided to revisit Grand Central Market. I came here on my first trip to LA years ago and had almost forgotten about it until a quick Google search for a good sandwich led me to Ghost Sando Shop. Something about the bread caught my attention, and when I'm unsure of what I want, a good sandwich and chips always do the trick. I ordered the club sandwich, which came with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a few other toppings. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I went with the 6-inch, which they mentioned is a newer size option, and it was just right since I don't eat as much as I used to. Paired with a bag of chips, it made for a simple yet satisfying lunch. I'm glad I rediscovered Grand Central Market and found this spot--Ghost Sando Shop definitely hits the mark for a great sandwich in downtown LA.

Super disappointment with my order. Ordered on ubereats and was given the option to modify ingredients which I appreciated since im allergic to mayonnaise and not a fan of onions. I opened my sandwich and took a big bite when onions immediately fell out. I didnt big deal it since I could easily remove them however, when I opened it to take a look it was filled with mayo. Very disappointing since it was clearly listed on the order and bag.

My new favorite sandwich shop! Decided to check out Grand central and had to stop at Ghost Sando since I've heard so many good things. While it's in the middle of other store fronts, it would be hard to miss with all the signs. The menu is extensive but I went with the BLT sandwich after asking which sandwich's were the most popular. I wasn't disappointed. The sandwich was a huge portion, flavorful and delicious. Service was great and moved quickly. I would say it took about 10 minutes for me to get my sandwich which wasn't a crazy wait since other people had put in orders as well. Grand central is overall busy but you can't miss the restaurant and you shouldn't have an issue finding somewhere to sit. It's a lively place but it's also fun as well! Highly recommend!

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

The first thing that stood out was the location. It's definitely not the polished, picture-perfect side of LA that many visitors expect. Walking from the parking lot, you're met with a mix of body odor, urine, and sewer smells. If you can get past that short walk, you're in for a much better experience once you step inside. We were told to expect a long wait, but fortunately there was no line when we arrived and we were seated right away. The restaurant itself has a classic, vintage deli feel that's part of its charm. It was clean, busy, and surprisingly well organized. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and able to answer all of our questions about the menu. We ordered the famous #19 pastrami with coleslaw and the #44 grilled pastrami with sauerkraut. There were four of us dining, and the group was split right down the middle--two preferred the #19, while my friend and I thought the #44 was the winner. Either way, it's safe to say the sandwiches are excellent and there's likely an option that will appeal to everyone. The prices were also more reasonable than I expected. The pastrami was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and sliced generously. Every bite lived up to the reputation. Overall, Langer's is a very solid deli and absolutely worth trying for the food alone. My only real drawback is the surrounding area. I didn't feel particularly comfortable outside the restaurant, although that may simply be because I'm not used to that part of LA. Once inside, however, the experience was enjoyable and the food definitely delivered on the hype.

I've always questioned "nippy cheese". What is it? What makes it "nippy"?…read more Langer's is known for their best-in-the-west sublime-tasting pastrami, but on a whim we got their grilled Nippy cheese. We got the grilled nippy cheese on sourdough -- the bread is our only deviation from what a standard grill cheese sandwich is supposed to be: kraft singles on white-as-hayull bread, grilled to a golden brown, in butter, on a scorching-hot, flat cooking surface. The grilled nippy cheese here is the platonic ideal of what a grilled cheese sandwich should be. 1) The sandwich had the perfect golden-hued grilled color. 2) The cheese inside was the perfect ooey-gooey consistency. 3) The ration of bread to cheese was perfect. What was most surprising was the fact that this "nippy cheese" is from Kraft. Apparently, Nippy Cheese is what American cheese was called in the 1900s. This sandwich was so good I had to ask about the cheese. I expected the cheese to be some special-ass processed cheese-food from some specialty niche vintage supplier in Wisconsin. Nope! When a cashier asked, the cook said it was Kraft (Kraft singles is the only cheese appropriate for a standard grilled cheese sandwich, FYI) What this means is this sandwich was prepared perfectly. Whoever made this sandwich knows their stuff. I highly recommend Langer's grilled nippy cheese if pastrami ain't your thing.
