    Mamma Mia
    Esther L.

Pretty good spot I'd recommend to friends. Came on a Saturday 12:30pm, there was just 1-2 parties ahead of me in line. I was surprised there weren't more people! Lunch rush came around 1:30pm. The workers were kind and helpful, each working diligently to complete everyone's order timely. I ordered the Mamma Mia, Dante, New Yorker--with Dante coming out as my fav. Shoutout to their truffle sauce, light yet not overbearing! Loved to see how they only use focaccia that just come out of the oven, and they cut your sandwich's meat from the meat hunk on an order basis. Very fresh, never greasy. I thought the Dante and Mamma Mia could improve by adding just one more ingredient as a cherry on top, like a sort of nut (walnuts, pine nuts) or something that helps the sandwich spark. Would love to see a bit more arugula too. No public bathroom--closest one is probably Hmart across the street (needs a code). Parking is metered, but there's free neighborhood parking 1-2 blocks away if you're able to find a spot. There's a few seats (5-6) and a standing bar around the perimeter of the store. Also, the drinks are money but you can ask for a water cup for free.

Expect metered parking in the middle of Koreatown. We lucked out on a Monday around noon of course. Service is quick and it's more of a grab and go spot. They do have a handful of seats inside but it's very limited. Sandwiches physically seems pretty small but they're quite filling and the price seems worth it afterwards. Focaccia has the perfect crisp outside and just the right amount of chew inside, yet still fluffy. La Favolosa -pecorino cream was really creamy but not overpowering. Salame Toscano was rich and not fatty/greasy. La Paradiso -was good to try but I couldn't get myself to like the pistachio. I couldn't stop thinking about the most recent popular Dubai chocolates.. I associate pistachio with sweets. Mortadella was good on it's own!

Delicious sandwich! The place is small but packs a punch. Been dying to try and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches may seem expensive but they're HUGE. My husband and I split one and were fine. They also have imported Italian soda for only 3 dollars! The Favolosa was delicious and creamy with just a hint of spice from the spicy eggplant. The salami was rich but sliced thin so as to not overpower the combinations of flavor The focaccia was crunchy and soft all at once. Nothing was greasy and so full of flavors. The staff was nice and organized. I will definitely be back soon to try more things!

Absolutely unreal sandwich. I ordered from Al'Antico in Koreatown through Postmates, and even after almost an hour of delivery time, it still showed up tasting fresh, balanced, and ridiculous in the best way. The bread was perfect, the meat was stacked just right, and everything inside actually held up instead of turning soggy. You can see it in the sandwich, it still looks and eats like something you'd get handed across the counter. But the pistachio cream is what took it over the top. I honestly don't think I've ever had anything like it on a sandwich before. It sounds like it could be too much, but it was perfect. Creamy, savory, a little rich, and completely addictive. This place is the real deal. If it's this good after a one-hour delivery ride, I can only imagine how insane it is fresh in the shop. Five stars easy.

I'm a little late to my review... this is now the fourth time here and I'm finally giving the well deserved review. Stopped by before a picnic and grabbed a "Paradiso" (my go-to, along with the "Summer") but I didn't grab a Summer this time due to it having tomato and I didn't want the tomato to make the sandwich soggy on my way to the park. I grabbed the Italian Hot too, per recommendation from Melanie. She also suggested I swap the turkey for Porchetta so that's what I did. The summer: 6/5 SUPER refreshing, almost like an ice cold lemonade on a hot summer day. Love this sandwich Paradiso: 5/5 very good, the pistachio cream goes super well with the creaminess of the Stracciatella. Italian hot: 5/5 it's pretty hot though, so if you can't handle spice well I would just go with the italiana. The porchetta was a nice touch to it for sure

All'Antico Vinaio absolutely lives up to the hype. I ordered The Paradiso and was really impressed by how well the pistachio crème paired with the sandwich. The flavor was rich and creamy without being overpowering--such a unique combination that worked perfectly. My friend got La Schiacciata di Manolo, and I tried a bite and loved it just as much. It had the perfect amount of spiciness, flavorful without being too intense. We ended up liking each other's sandwiches so much that we swapped halves, which says a lot about how good they both were. She also picked up some Italian potato chips, and honestly, they were way better than original Lay's. Super fresh, perfectly crispy, and not overly greasy or salty. Everything tasted high-quality and thoughtfully made. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area--I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I think out of all the places I've traveled to so far, my favorite would have to be Italy. During a lazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

Really wanted to like this place. Got the favolosa and paradiso. I love that they slice the meat fresh, but the focaccia was cold and didnt have much of a crisp texture. The filling was good and loved the creams, but wished there was a little more of everything. A little disappointed, but just thinking I went at a bad time.

My girlfriend and I both got the Italian Hot which was hella good! The focaccia was perfectly toasted and the meats tasted so good! The cheese on it was tasty but definitely could've gotten burrata on it and it would've been gas too! The crew there was very chill and made the sandwiches quick! There's little seating area but we didn't need to be there for long because we dusted them quick! There's a nice variety of Italian drinks that would have paired with the sandwiches nicely! I definitely want to go back and try something else!

The Paradiso is the perfect sandwich - we even got a little sample of the mortadella as they were slicing it up for our sandwich. I love how thinly sliced the mortadella was too. The bread is perfect and reminded me of the sandwiches I had in Italy! Super friendly employees!

WORTH! THE!! HYPE!!! So I've been here a handful of times now and they simply do not disappoint. The location itself is tucked away and rather inconspicuous, which makes it that much more rewarding once you finally find your way inside. The interior isn't much to write home about, with only a few stools -- more of a grab and go type joint. I was here earlier today (May 2026) and they recently added nice red and white menus above the register that show each sandwich including all ingredients which I felt was a nice touch. The service here is consistently great, but today just knocked it out of the park!! I want to give a shoutout to Harrison, Amy, and Axel for going above and beyond to make my experience here nothing short of spectacular. They were all very upbeat, friendly, and masters at their respective crafts. Together, with the power of friendship, they whipped up one of the best sandwiches my tastebuds have ever been lucky enough to enjoy!! I ordered the Italian hot with pistachio cream and tomato slices...it was simply magical. The focaccia is fresh, soft on the inside, and has a nice chew on the outside -- it's also durable and able to hold the spreads and sauces they put on which is important. They freshly slice the meats in front of you, and Harrison was kind of enough to show me every type of meat they have and describe what each was which was super helpful to know! Anyways, the sandwich hit the SPOT and their menu is so robust that the options feel endless. I would highly recommend you check this place out as I know you'll be satisfied and wanting to visit again, just like me!

This sandwich really delivered. While I'm a diehard fan of big meaty deli sandwiches, this authentic Italian sandwich from a Florentine chain is absolutely outstanding. Spongy focaccia bread wrapped around velvety mortadella, rich creamy stracchino and pistachio cream is a luxurious alternative to American sandwiches. Can't wait to try their other sandwiches.

Great Italian Sandwhich spot. Expect it to be pricey. The guy working there spoke Italian and my mom and him got to connect. Was so happy to bring my mom to an Italian spot! I went here in Florence and it hit the spot just the same. Not great for eating there, we took our sandwiches to the park and it was perfect. Nice vibes was fun to see all the spreads.

We ordered the Philly and Pastrami to split and share. We dined in which was among a few small tables situated between the shelves of well-lit and visually clean bottles of liquor. Service was friendly but nothing memorable. After about 10 minutes, both sandwiches were brought to our table. They were hot and came on toasted rolls. Not really sure what bread specifically but seemed a bit like French rolls. Crunch crusts with soft middles which helped to cradle the fillings and absorb the delicious meat juices. The pastrami was great and not overly salty. It had a great zing from the crunchy pickles and mustard. The Philly was nice and gooey. The beef had great texture and was dripping with flavor (literally). Both were very good but I personally liked the pastrami better. If you like meat though, neither will disappoint. We will be back to try the other sandwiches. The only down side to our visit was buying sodas at the store. Their prices weren't listed and in my head, I expected them to be $3 or so. The Mexican Coke and small bottle of lemonade were each $6. $20 for a sandwich isn't cheap, but it price didn't make me gag--but I almost physically gagged when i saw soda prices ring up. Next time, we'll get our sandwiches to go and get drinks elsewhere.
