I finally tried the sandwich shop and it definitely lived up to the hype. My coworkers are regulars and the recent episode of Diners, Drive-ins, and Desantis lured me in. I didn't even know this was a thing until I saw the clip on WPTV. And I'm not waving any political flags here, only sharing because the marketing legitimately did work. I ordered the burrata caprese and it was dynamite. I consumed 1/2 for lunch on the initial day I ordered and the remaining half the following day. The flavors danced in perfect unison and the sandwich was equally as good on the second day. The packaging was very lovely - old school butcher vibes with fancy tape. I'm very much looking forward to trying the beef carpaccio (declared by Rin D the best cold sandwich in FL) or the steak bomb on my next visit. Similar to dinner at Buccan, I feel like nothing I order from the sandwich shop will disappoint.
If you're looking for one of the more affordable food options on PBI, Buccan sandwich is my go to. Pretty much everything on the island is pricey so I find myself coming here more often. They have great variety of sandwiches and you can either order ahead for pick up or walk in into their hole in the wall spot. It usually takes about 20 minutes wait depending on the day. Weekends are almost always busy. My favorite is beef carpaccio, its my safe on the go order. I've also tried the bahn mi but it was not the authentic one or not even close. They offer simple side like chips which I always order. Overall its a solid option in the island without spending a fortune.
There's a reason why this place is so popular. It's just too good to pass up! I'm not lying when I tell you their sandwiches are worth the $. I usually get their beef carpaccio but decided to try out their menu. The steak bomb is a great option for a hot sandwich. You can't come here and be picky either! I will have to try the rest of the menu!
I had heard about the gloriousness of the Buccan Sandwich Shop. I finally experienced it today due to my friend who has raved about it forever. It is glorious and good, good and glorious. It is a take-out stand. No seating. You order either from the counter from a line that is a mile long or you order online and save yourself time and tears, tears and time. You can also call your order in but having the Toast app helps their establishment a lot in running orders as well as you in receiving your sandwich when you want it. Parking wise can be a challenge on Kamunga off of Dixie where it's located within the same building as Grato. There is limited back parking reserved for Buccan and street parking doesn't allow for many patron parking. You can risk parking in the gravel lot in front of Civil Society if you are picking up and going or by the tracks but you could get towed depending on the day. There is parking on adjacent streets and Dixie but be careful if you park on Dixie with the incoming traffic from both directions. For my money, the buffalo chicken sandwich added with bacon is the bee's knees that allows me to live my best life. What makes their sandwiches delicious is their fresh bread that has the right balance of crispiness and softness; not too chewy, not too voluminous to where it is a mouthful to take one bit to chew and swallow. No, this bread is so gorgeous in the mouthfeel and enhances the flavors from the sandwich; in my case, the zesty buffalo chicken with the savoriness of the bacon. I have heard about the beef carpaccio sandwich, and will need to check that out as well as their meatball sub. They have a lunch box special that comes with a sandwich, Housemade chips, and a drink. So if you are looking for a meal, you can go in that direction. They also offer salads if you are not in sandwich mood or are celiac/ gluten free but they don't off gluten free bread and rarely have lettuce wraps so take note. Out of the sandwich places I have been to, this one is one of the best. Their sandwiches are fresh and delicious.
Wow. Super delicious. Pick up only. Very friendly at the window. Busy, but not a bad wait time! All yummy. Bread was very fresh. Son thought the steak bomb was really good and the whole fam thought the tuna was fantastic. Will be back!
I've been hearing about this sandwich spot for a very long time, yet I never had a chance to try it. I finally swung by and picked up the beef carpaccio sandwich, a pickle and their famous chocolate chip cookie (they were out of chips) This sandwich was probably one of the best I've ever tried. It was perfectly seasoned. The bread had the perfect chew. The balsamic mixed with the crunchy onions... just wow!
First and foremost I just wanted to say I am blown away by the sandwich I got today! It was amazing The staff is nice the two boys in the window were quick, knew what they were doing- and got the line down quick so good job boys! -I created my own sandwich I did beef, mayo, horseradish aoli all 3 onions, provolone and arugula - I've never had a sandwich with raw beef before but I think I'm hooked! The bread was soft- all of the ingredients added their own kick to the sandwich it was amazing! And worth the price I usually wouldn't spend this much on a a sandwich but this one was worth it, bc it was so tasty! And a great size They have lunchbox deals for 25$ and I think that is good for people on lunch break! You get everything you need I will return and definitely going to be telling people about this place!! I want to try out their restaurant they have also
Really good sandwiches. Staff was friendly and food was quick and fresh. Overall this is just a pick up window so there isn't really an ambiance here. We grabbed our sandwiches and ate in the car. I ordered the prosciutto and it exceeded my expectations. I don't like tomato so I opted out of that. Super fresh ingredients & loved the mix of flavors! Wanted to order the carpaccio sandwich but we arrived 30 minutes before closing so they were out. Next time I'll arrive earlier! Will be back.
This place is absolutely incredible--easily a 10/10 experience across the board. Food: We ordered the beef carpaccio and a turkey club (no bacon, sauce on the side). While raw dishes aren't usually my preference, I can still appreciate quality--and the person I was with said the carpaccio was a perfect 10/10 and clearly a standout for a reason. The turkey club, though, completely stole the show for me. It was hands down the best turkey sandwich I've ever had. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh--the meat was thinly sliced and flavorful, the bread tasted freshly baked, and the vegetables were crisp, clean, and vibrant. You can tell the sauces are house-made and thoughtfully crafted--they elevate everything. Sandwiches range around $17-$17.25 and again, are absolutely worth every penny. I've also heard the chips are made in-house (trying those next time), and I did try the chocolate chip cookie--it was very good and the perfect sweet finish. Service: The staff was amazing. Even with how busy it stays, they were patient, accommodating, and genuinely kind. You never feel rushed, and they take the time to get your order just right. Ambience: It's a very small, window-style spot with no traditional seating, but honestly, it doesn't need it. The focus is entirely on the food, and it speaks for itself. It's impressive how such high-quality, beautifully made sandwiches come out of such a modest space. Food takes about 15 minutes to make, fyi. This place is busy for a reason. Every bite proves it's worth it. If you haven't tried it yet, it's an absolute must.
I love Buccan! What a treat! The walk up window is always the way-to-go when i've worked up an appetite from shopping on Worth. The sandwiches are always fresh and well balanced, the chips are always crunchy and crisp, and the service is always friendly and swift! There are few things better than enjoying a fresh Buccan sammie in one of Palm Beach's many gardens, while taking a break from the sun.
The sandwich was so good! We rented bikes for the day and stopped here. Grabbed some subs and went over to the four arts garden to eat and enjoy the day. 10/10!!
We will be dreaming about this beef carpaccio sandwich until we meet again! The bread was delicious and the caramelized onions elevate it so much! Get it if you're in town!!
Love this place. The steak bomb is the must have. You have to order online in advance. It takes 30-40 mins to get your order, plan ahead!! They give you your pick up time and text you when it's complete. You go up to the window, give your name and that's it! Must haves are a cookie! They are baked in house and totally worth it. Totally worth the wait!
If i were going to marry a restaurant, it would be this one....literally the sandwich shop of your dreams. There were so many good choices on the menu that intrigued me (including the steak bomb, buff chic, and italian) but OF COURSE I had to try their beef carpaccio sub... it is truly life changing. Fresh crusty baguette, delicious tasty beef carpaccio, fried onion strings with balsamic??? it is just outstanding. In my opinion, it is worth it to get the boxed lunch. IT came with a ginger lemonade, fresh kettle chips, and a delicious chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. omg. and of course a pickle too. This place is just next level. I cant wait to try the shop in the Gables and to also try some different sandwiches on the menu. Pro tip: place your order ahead of time because it will take about 20 minutes for them to make the sandwich. read more

I understand the hype! I DO! Ordered my sandwich for pick up and it was ready in under 10mins even with a huge line. I got the Italian and babbbbyyyy I get it, I do!!! It was soo packed with flavor, the bread was soft too!!! also got an Arnold Palmer iced tea made in house, delicious as well. The sammich had a great amount of everything. It was filling 10/10 across the board, will visit again next time I in town. I do wish they opened at 10am instead lol read more

I cannot say enough good things about this sandwich. For starters I am not a huge sandwich fan but they had me at beef carpaccio. Definitely recommend grabbing to go and driving toward the beach. There is parking near the restaurant but expect a wait. Pricing is fair given the quality freshness and sizing but on the higher side. This sandwhich was nicely sauced, bread held well, and the flavor was amazing. They did a nice job adding texture to the sandwhich as well. Will definitely be back next time I visit. read more
My boyfriend saw the beef carpaccio sandwich. If you love beef carpaccio and fresh flavors, this is the sandwich is for you. This sandwich was fresh and vibrant, the quality of the carpaccio was excellent and the lemon, greens, and caramelized onions worked well together. My boyfriend loved this sandwich. Pretty good sandwich shop! There was a long line during lunch time and it seemed like a lot of people ordered before hand. I was in the area for a drs appointment so I just walked up to the window. It took some time to make but it was definitely fresh. It ordered a turkey club and it was good. They messed up my name on the order when I told them my name so they ended up calling some other random name and then eventually we realized it was my order. Overall it was fine though because the sandwich was pretty good. There wasn't much room to sit except a bench right in front but if you go around the corner and walk down there's a little fountain area where you can sit and eat since this place is just an ordering window read more

Tried this place because of the great reviews, and it lived up to the hype. We ordered the Italian sandwich and the beef carpaccio--both were incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The beef carpaccio stood out with a hint of fig jam that gave it a really unique twist. The Arnold Palmer drinks were another highlight--perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Būccan is AMAZING! I'm really impressed with the food. We went for lunch to the sandwich window and got the sandwich box. It's a great deal! $25 for a box that includes a sandwich of your choice (we got the fire beef carpaccio), a drink, a cookie, a pickle, and house made chips. Everything in my box was so good. I loved the beef carpaccio sandwich and ginger lemonade. Service was amazing, everyone was super kind. Would love to come back for dinner one day! read more
It's been years since I had one of these sandwiches. When I got to the order window the line wasn't that long, the employee who took my order said it would be about a 30min wait. As I was getting my order the line got real long. I decided on the Italian. It was very good, lots of flavor. I totally forgot to ask to make it dry. I dont care for mayo or the dressing. It did make eating the sandwich very messy and if you save half, the bread gets soggy. They do take phone orders to order in advance. I also got the chocolate chip cookie which was delicious. Ordered pick up from the shop, have had a sandwich one other time a long time ago... the beef carpaccio sandwich which a I recall being amazing. This day we tried the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was good but I think I like the beef carpaccio better. Next I want to try the steak bomb. Didn't go inside as the inside is Grato which I have been to before and is great. This is just the sandwich shop walk up window. Definitely will come back. The lady at the window was super friendly! read more

I've heard from a few friends that they do take about 20 mins to get your order ready, so we decided to call in to place our order. There was about a 7-9 min hold on the phone where they answer immediately but place you on hold. Placing our order on the phone was very quick and easy. We had asked if the double cheeseburger or the steak bomb is better and the server told us that the steak bomb is his favorite, but since the burger is only available today, it would be good to try it. Since today is Wednesday, we were able to get their Wednesday special, the double cheese burger with fries. I also wanted the buffalo chicken sandwich but without the buffalo sauce, however, the server told us that the chicken is already mixed with the buffalo sauce. But he gave us the option to make a custom sandwich, so we picked plain chicken and added pesto sauce, mozzarella, romaine lettuce, and crispy onions and a side of their aioli . The custom sandwich came out to $15.75, which is only 75 cents more than their regular buffalo chicken sandwich. Definitely seems worth it to me! The pesto was extremely fresh and made the sandwich overall much better! This is more of a take out place, but they do a formal restaurant attached as well. It is kind of difficult to find parking and the sandwich shop is only open during lunch hours so from around 11-3:30. It is a great stop if you would like to grab lunch and eat it at the beach nearby. Since they are only open for a few hours during the day, it seems like they are always busy. I can definitely see why because their sandwiches are huge and taste great! I can't wait to come back try their other sandwiches! read more

Little window that you order at. Scan the menu. Guy at the counter was friendly and made recommendations. I made my own veggie sandwich. Bread was soft and veggies were fresh. Hubbie thought the Italian one was just ok. Only small bench outside, it's really a to go place. read more
The Yellowfin Tuna Salad sandwich was 10/10! So fresh, lots of flavor, and soft bread. We showed up about 10 mins after open on a Saturday and ordered at the counter and it took 25 mins - was worth every second. I love pickles so was excited to try theirs, but it wasn't my favorite. I prefer a garlicky/dill pickle and theirs is crisp and fresh, but not much flavor. Highly recommend the sandwiches though! read more
Yummy, juicy sandwiches!! Went to Buccan after it went viral on tiktok with high expectations and they were definitely met. I went to the window, surprised to see a line of people, but the service was quick and efficient. I think i waited less than 10 min for my order. My first visit I got the Prosciutto sandwich and it was sooo delicious. The bread tasted fresh, the prosciutto was perfectly thin and the mozzarella was tasty. The tomato's and arugula were fresh. I only wish the sandwich had more balsamic and pesto, just because I enjoy a lot of dressing/sauce on my sandwich. The best part of my visit were the house made chips!!! omg absolutely perfect, crunchy, fresh and delicious. Do NOT skip out on the chips. My second visit I convinced my coworkers to get lunch from there and i ordered the Turkey Club, which is not something i would typically got for but I'm sooo happy I did. The sandwiches arrived at their scheduled time, perfectly packaged and the order was perfect. The Turkey club was amazing. The bacon was crispy, the bread was fresh, and the turkey was seasoned to perfection. The sauce added a nice tangy touch to the sandwich which balanced it out perfectly. This would be the perfect summer beach day sandwich. I'm in love with Buccans sandwiches and can't wait to go back and try more! read more
