But what really sets this place apart is the people behind it. The owners are genuinely incredible, warm, welcoming, and intentional about making sure every customer feels taken care of. You can feel the love and pride they put into their business, and it shows in every detail. It's places like this that remind us why supporting small, Black-owned businesses matters so much. The food was ready shortly and I took it back to my office to eat. The BLT was neatly made and very tasty. I also got the Mexican Street Corn Chowder, which I have had in the past. But today it was so thick and sludgy. Thick soup is usually a good thing, but this was just not right - like it sat too long and the liquid evaporated too much - anyway - it was also gross. I also tried the new Dubai Chocolate Cookie. Not gross, but nothing special. Didn't taste like anything much other than a mildly chocolate flavored cookie. The baguette that came with the soup was good, so that's what I ate, after spending maybe $38 on this inedible meal. Panera is really not the same any more. Very sad.
