Chicken Shawarma Plate(with Tabbouleh and Tahini only)
    Oulimata D.

The food here is pretty good. I usually get the Shakshuka dish, which is an appetizer, but it is enough to fill me up. They give 2 pieces of bread/naan and are fairly generous when asking for more. I will say that sometimes the egg is cooked differently, I have had the egg well done and sometimes a bit runny, but when ordering, you can't choose how you want them cooked. Overall, the food is great, and the person that I ordered with got the Chicken Shawarma plate and absolutely loved it. They give a pretty hefty portion of food and allow you to choose which sides to include. My friend recommended that people order the plate with only Tahini and Tabbouleh. I don't eat meat, but the plate looks delicious. A heads up, the restaurant is really nice, but it is self service. So you can order on a kiosk or at the register, but when food is prepared, they call out your number and you have to go grab it from the front. Nothing wrong with it, the cooks are super helpful when directing you to your plate and giving and extra sides that you want. Also, its right across the street from a great cafe called 967 Coffee, so you can get a great nightcap after dinner.

I am sad to report that I was underwhelmed by the food I had here. I ordered the mix kabob platter and the falafel patties. The food was flavorful and seasoned well but the meat was excessively dry. I don't know if it had sat on the fire grill for too long. I visited the adjoining market and picked up some fresh figs from the refrigerator case . I'm willing to give Jerusalem another try and hoping it was an off day.

Always reliable, with fresh, high-quality food and some of the best prices around. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, paired perfectly with fresh veggies and warm pita. The garlic sauce was rich and creamy without being overpowering, and every bite felt fresh. Portions were generous and left me full but still wanting just one more bite. Definitely a go-to spot for satisfying shawarma cravings!

I have been here a few times over as many years. Whenever I am in town, I try to stop into the grocery and restaurant. Large dining room, outside seating too. They are very nice with substitutions. Recently I ordered the veggie platter but do not care for the Tahiti salad so I subbed more of another. Next time, I am going to ask for less rice and more hummus or baba ganoush. Falafel, pita bread round it out. Plenty for 2 meals for me. The huge baklava selection is impressive and delicious. Freshly baked pita and plenty of dry or fresh goods available. I love the golden raisins, sesame bars, dried fava beans, etc. Plenty of parking in the strip mall.

Jerusalem bakery is just that! A bakery/store on one side and the grill on the other with screen baked goods as well. Open kitchen to view the food being made fresh. Lots of dining space. Very big location with an outdoor patio with lights. The staff is very pleasant with smiles. It feels like a family owned location. I had the pleasure to enjoy the chicken shawarma combo with the hummus. Although the shawarma was not what i was looking for it was very tasty! The hummus . It had oil on top and I loved every bit. I could have had another piece of the bread!

We walked in and was greeted by a dessert display that made our mouths water. There was plenty of seating, and it was very clean. We ordered the taste of Jerusalem- beautiful presentation with plenty of food for 3 adults to share. It was delicious!! We ordered our meal and picked up at the counter. The people who took our order were friendly and helpful. Definitely plan make this a place we visit often.

Love the beef shawarma! Served with fresh ingredients and taste delicious. Tried the traditional hummus and was not a huge fan the flavor of the olive oil on top was a no for me personally. I also got a side of fries that were served hot crispy and fresh. The service was good and the restaurant has plenty of seating indoors and out and it's attached to the store where they have plenty of goodies.

Came here with my church group around Saturday 7 PM, wasn't too crowded. However, that did not affect the length of time it took to prepare the food! They give you large quantities of food however, preparation of the food takes an extremely long time! I ordered a hummus with a side of cheese pie, and that took over 40 minutes! I had to remind them twice, and it still took forever !

After speaking with the staff, i believe Mashawi is more specifically palestinian. The concept of this place is what sets it apart. They make it easy for the new comer or the veteran by telling you that there is nothing to order, you just enjoy. Right out of the gate, the side dishes and salads are presented like you are at a wedding feast. It is family style so you have to be quick if you want first dibs on the babaganoush or the hummus, and especially the Falafel (best i have ever had). Don't worry if you are slow to the draw because they will refill all sides and salads. The hardest part abotu Mashawi is having self conctrol because what comes next is a parade of seasoned meats and proteins that only get better. Reccomend the Steak, Kifta, and shrimp and Salmon. I have only been for dinner and at the end of this glorious meat train, they will ask if you would like more! It's a great family experience, or a night out with other friends. If you are wanting to introduce this cuisine to rookies, this place is perfect because there is no pressure to choose the right item. There plenty of choices for everyone to find something to eat. My last piece of advice would be to wait to order the Mint Drink at the end as a paltte clenser. They tempt you with a taste at first, but waiting till the end is the perfect punctuation to a unique and unforgettable meal.

At $45.99 per adult, it is less expensive than Fogo de Chão, so I wouldn't expect the same level of meat quality. We tried quite a few of the meats, and while everything was fine, we found the quality, texture, and flavor fairly average. The portions brought to the table were also surprisingly small -- for example, two shrimp and a very small piece of salmon at a time. Since it is all-you-can-eat, you can ask for more, but overall the experience didn't feel particularly generous. The most unusual part of our experience was the mansaf. It is listed as part of the all-inclusive menu, and since none of us had ever tried it, we specifically asked for it. The gentleman serving us strongly discouraged us from ordering it, explaining that mansaf is very heavy and that usually Jordanian customers come specifically for it. Later, when we asked again, he told us that since we were already full, there was really no need to order it. He did say he would bring it if we really wanted it, but after being discouraged multiple times, it felt awkward to insist, so we ultimately didn't try it. We understand that mansaf comes as a large dish and that he may simply have been trying to prevent food waste, which is understandable. At the same time, since it is specifically listed as an included item, we were surprised to be so strongly discouraged from ordering it. We were genuinely interested in trying a traditional Jordanian dish, not simply ordering more food because it was included. Overall, the concept is interesting and the price is reasonable for an all-you-can-eat meal. It is also fair to keep the lower price point in mind when comparing it with places like Fogo. But between the average meat quality, small portions, and the awkward experience around ordering the mansaf, we probably won't return.

Because the groups were large and each had a different theme, Bey was able to prepare offerings that catered to each theme. It's in a shopping center so there's free parking. It's right off Roswell Road so you really can't miss it even though it is kinda off in the corner but it's still easy to find . They have a little outdoor area so you can actually sit outside if you wanted to be in the element and it's actually covered as well because it's right under the awning of the building so that's an option too. You come in and it's a large shop but it's not a lot. Most of the space there is going to be seating. You can look around and they have a little market area but the market area is very small. They do have particular specific items so you can check that out while you wait for your food. You can see the menus on the board and everybody there is super friendly and they'll explain anything to you. We had a pretty good short conversation while I waited. Love the customer service . Hummus - I tried the hummus and it was okay. Nothing crazy about it and it was just regular and not like it was roasted red pepper or garlic or anything like that but it was decent . Chicken shawarma wrap - the wrap was pretty good. It wasn't great but it was pretty good. It had a lot of color to it, meaning they were seasoning it for sure, but the flavor was only okay. The flavor was not popping out of your mouth but it was a decent but subtle flavor. It was super tender! Chicken kabob - the kebab plate came with two skewers and rice with a salad and it came with some garlic sauce as well. I think that the kebab was better than the shawarma to me. It had the same char flavor but mixed with the rice and the garlic sauce, it took it up another notch as well. You got a lot of it though so it wasn't like you only got two pieces of meat per skewer and a small handful of rice. You got a bed of rice so it was really good. The salad was low quality but I really didn't care about that because I didn't come for salad lol. Overall you paid maybe like $12 or $14 for this. It wasn't bad for a full plate . All in all it was a pretty decent experience. They're very customer-oriented and customer-friendly so you go in there, you will be fine. They'll take care of you

Stopped in for the first time last week. I had this bookmarked for a while and decided it was time to check it out for date night. Hubby ordered the beef sticks with grape leaves and I ordered the burger with a side of fries. We started out with the saganaki (flaming cheese). Everything was delicious with the exception of the grape leaves (can't recall the official name of this dish). I told hubby that some reviews had mentioned they were soggy and not too good. He agreed with those reviewers and would not recommend. The saganaki was both literal and metaphorical fire. The pita points it was served with were crunchy, which was pleasantly surprising. We both did wish there was some kind of sweetness to complement the cheese like a fruit jam or something, but it was delicious regardless. The beef on the sticks was tasty as was the burger but the star of the whole show were the fries. Hubby typically does not like fries but he loved these and was happy that I let him share them with me. Lol I am not sure what kind of seasoning they had but our taste buds definitely approved. They don't come with the burger but were definitely worth getting on the side. It was a little on the pricey side at about $35-40 more than our typical date night spend for less food, but it was good overall. Too pricey to make it into our weekly rotation, but will be a nice addition to our special occasion options.

Mediterranean Express in Roswell offers a really fun combination of Mediterranean favorites and Indian classics, so the menu has something for just about everyone. If you're looking to try something a little different from your typical Mediterranean restaurant, this is definitely a place worth visiting. On this visit, my wife and I ordered the vegetable samosas, samosa chaat, butter chicken flatbread, butter chicken with rice, vegetable korma with rice, cheesy naan, and garlic naan. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and paired perfectly with the fluffy basmati rice. The vegetable korma was comforting, full of vegetables, and had a wonderful creamy sauce. The butter chicken flatbread was a fun twist that worked surprisingly well, combining Indian flavors with a crispy flatbread. The samosa chaat was another standout, layering crispy samosas with chickpeas, yogurt, chutneys, and fresh toppings for a dish full of different textures and flavors. Don't skip the naan! Both were excellent, but the cheesy naan completely stole the show for me. It was soft, cheesy, buttery, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared that we enjoyed our meal. Before we left, the owner brought me a complimentary Mango Lassi just so I could try it because he was proud of it. That kind of hospitality is something you don't see every day. The Mango Lassi was smooth, creamy, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be ordering one the next time I visit. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and has plenty of seating indoors along with a nice outdoor patio if you'd rather enjoy the weather.
