My Dad moved out of state and mentions Jesse's chile relleno burritos when we talk on the phone, the food is so good people are sad when they can't have it! To be honest, my go to TDM has always been the Saviers location. I've been going there since my freshman year in high school, so 1996-1997. Though the Saviers location still holds sentimental value and nostalgia for me, it's the friendly service, good food and late open hours that tend to bring me to this location a lot more. Jesse's El Taco De Mexico got a rehaul in their marketing, with a new menu and matching vinyl artwork around their small shop, which only has two booths and a counter surrounding their kitchen and POS station (with only a total of 8 chairs for the counter). Not many people eat inside here, as a majority of their clients seem to get their food to go. The aroma of freshly cooked meat and warmed tortillas fill the shop and entice you to order more than you actually could eat. If you're looking for good Mexican food, this is probably a sure shot, especially for late night eats. read more

I don't know why I can't figure out why I wish I knew but I don't understand why you allow this place to deteriorate the food is still sitting there for hours the meat is just not fresh any longer sometimes it's fresh and great but too often it is overly crunchy it is just not right at times even not hot it just gets cold off too much The walls have become greasy the stainless has not been kept up there's rust or grease on the stainless steel I don't get it why not take my pride seriously. The quality has suffered over the years consistently the cooks are inconsistent with proportions this was my favorite place and I am ashamed and devastated it's turn to this as we look around it's totally disappointing and some areas kind of disgusting when you walk in the door and you look up that's just gross. read more

Old school hole in the wall spot. can be a little confusing as to where the line starts because people are just kind of standing around everywhere on the side walk. So you may want to ask the people standing around if they are in line to order. I got a Asada burrito, the burrito was decent. the asada was tender and tasty but the burrito was kind of dry and could have used a little better bean to rice ratio. The burrito had a ton of rice and very little beans. It had a decent amount of asada. I asked for salsa in the burrito but it didn't seem to have any and that may have helped the dryness and flavor a little . they did give me 2 tiny containers of red salsa but could have used about 4 of them. I give it a 7/10 and I will be back to give it a second shot and try some other stuff. No stomach ache and no chorro lol. read more
