Wow, wow, wow. I feel so lucky that I was driving on Rt 7 and saw this beautiful house and I stopped to see if they had a restaurant (the patio lights gave me sense that it would). The restaurant is located in Swift's House which has several beautiful (1800s buildings on a small hill). The food was exquisite. We ordered more than we could eat because everything sounded delicious and it was. Linus was our waiter who was attentive throughout our dinner. I will return (and make sure I make reservations ahead of time)

Ambiance/Atmosphere: Definite "Vermont Inn" dining room, with old time charm and romantic and calm atmosphere. You can actually have conversation with a nice quiet environment. "New England Charm". Service: Very attentive staff all around, great help with wine choices, food recommendations, and just the right amount of attention. Food: Amazeballs. All around great, from the starting cocktail, through the soup (lots of lobster in it), main course and dessert. Everything was well presented, high quality, and delicious. Definitely worth a visit. Just mind the parking, because that's the only part that could detract. If they're busy it can be hard to get a spot. We'll definitely be back.

The hostess and wait staff were kind and professional. I like the uniquely decorated rooms of the house-like dining rooms. It is cozy and the dishes are carefully prepared, clean, and delicious. The lamb chops special was cooked with precision and was crispy and yummy.

Jessica's first brunch was a hit. My New Years day visit was excellent. The menu offered a decent selection of breakfast entrees, drinks and desserts. I had the waffles and chicken. Top notch. For desert it's was the maple creme brulee. Hopefully the brunch option at Jessica's will continue throughout 2025. Book now, this cozy restaurant fills fast!

Top notch B&B meal made very special by sommelier. Amazing duck. Sumptuous scallops! While chicken was highly recommended, it had disappointing tomato sauce on top and lacked flavor and moistness. Fabulous and affordable wine list. Seating in library was charming!

Two Brothers was the choice from the desk so we went with it and so glad we did. Place looked pretty busy, bar was full, we were seated pretty much right away. The menu is smaller (perfect amount of items , hate too many choices) but done well. We love doing shareable so we can try a bunch of different things. The mussels were the absolute show stopper here, different than most. Tequila, spicy, little bits of sausage, (i would have drank the broth or made this a soup it was so good) The Poutine was different than I was used to, it was our least favorite but still ok. This is just a personal preference but I'm used to being smothered in gravy, it was almost non existent. It's like the ere was a ladle on the bottom and fries on top so didn't get a lot of it. The street corn dip was really good, much different than others I've had as well but in a really good way. It was hearty with lots of corn, had some nice spice to it. We also had (not pictured) French onion soup, loved it, nice peppery, piping hot. The cheddar ale soup, best I've had, literally you can taste all the components of this, rich, thick, creamy, sharp cheddar with a hint of the ale in the background. For dessert we took the donut holes to go, the colors dip was amazing, the chocolate looked like it was seized up a bit, we also ate this a little later so it could have been us and not from then. This looks like a super fun place to belly up at the bar, it has the hometown feel , we are already planning a stop on our drive back later this week!

The Poutine is a MUST order! The combination of sweet gravy, crispy fries and sharp Vermont cheese…read moreis !

When the waitress put the Chicken Condon Bleu sandwich in front of me, it smelled DELICIOUS. And it tasted as good as it smelled. Despite having a reservation, we waited 90 minutes for our meals. When the food finally arrived, it came out in waves about 10 minutes apart. By the time one end of the table received their meals, the other end had already finished eating. Our appetizer was delivered at the same time as our entrées and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp. It was dried out and tasted of old oil. Our waitress appeared overwhelmed and received no visible support from management. We were not offered drink refills, and we were never asked if everything was satisfactory. The child in our group was served a burnt grilled cheese sandwich that required scraping off the charred portions just to make it edible. It was also made with rye bread and unmelted shredded cheese -- neither of which were indicated on the children's menu. After 2.5 hours, when we requested the check, we were told they could not separate it -- despite having informed the waitress at the beginning of the evening whose tabs were grouped together. We have hosted family events there before and have never encountered this policy. It was not posted or communicated to us in advance. As someone who has worked in customer service and management for over 30 years, I understand how challenging the industry can be. However, communication, organization, and support from management are essential if you expect guests to return. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that standard. We will be choosing to celebrate our family gatherings elsewhere in the future.

We were in town and our friend, who lives in the area, was very excited to take us to this place so we went as his guests. I was unimpressed and very disappointed with our experience. For a brewery they don't have much beer on tap, and my burger was burnt and had no flavor. Bar tender, a very young girl, was rude and ignored us the whole time we were there. I added one star because they let us eat on the counter behind the bar, otherwise they would only get 1 star. I left the bar smelling like burnt food and grease.

The edamame hummus with flatbread was so good, could have used a bit more bread though. We were happy with our dinner for the most part, one had the taco salad with salmon and was happy but I had a dish called Bibimbap with salmon that said Crispy Sesame Rice which was what I was after. It came in a small cast iron pan so I was excited and expected crispy rice! I didn't get it though, the rice was just there, Not crispy! Very disappointing! Bobby Flay would scoff at this poor excuse, we know what crispy rice is suppose to be like. The dish should just say with rice since I didn't get a hint of sesame either.
