The server spilled two glasses of red wine all over us and our table right when our order was delivered . The glasses broke across our food and my husband's clothing. He was wiping red wine from his face not knowing if it was blood or not initially. No Manager ever appeared to apologize or make any attempt to make it right. We changed tables and had to wait for a whole new order of everything. We paid and left with our wine stained clothes and a quick "sorry" from our server. read more

Came with a larger group on a Sunday night or a holiday weekend. Not surprisingly we had to wait but got seats in about the time they said it would take. Our table was spacious and comfortable. We tried a variety of dishes and the food was decent and the cocktails were great. However, we waited a very long time for our food to come. One member of our party had an allergy and they offered him a kids meal with no sauce, which he was fine with, but then they charged him a lot extra when he asked for a larger portion than a normal kids meal without telling him what those charges would be. read more

Wow! The best Thai I've had since I was in San Francisco. Unfortunately we couldn't go out because of our dog, so we did takeaway. Great service on the phone. Our order was spot on. Ordered garlic and pepper stir fry, drunken noodles and potstickers. When picking up, noticed the restaurant and bar were very happening. Greeted quickly and food was ready. The service is absolutely terrible at this restaurant. We came at 510 and as I wrote this review at 705 we had yet to receive our meal. They do continue to fill to go orders while the in person patrons sit. Seven in our party and 2 received a meal at 630 and the others have not. Such terrible flow, the manager/owner has no idea how to handle a restaurant. I don't care how the food tastes, if you can't serve a person in a timely manner then either stop take outs or don't seat people. It is absolutely the worst experience as far as service I have ever experienced. Adding in. We did receive our food at 720. The food was delicious however we received the wrong bill for our food. When we asked for an itemized receipt it did not go over well and the server/bartender commented when we questioned a charge "do you not understand English" the only reason there is a 1 is because of the food. I feel bad for the husband/wife team because they really could have an amazing restaurant but they have to realize that it is business and while people do come for the food they also come for service and experience. read more

Last night was busy and there was one server wearing a shirt that read "professional toilet cleaner" and he never said "I'll be right with you" to acknowledge our presence nor checked back in to ask how everything was. Great spot near Sugarbush Mountain! We ordered the pork dumplings (they were deep fried - we expected pan fried, nonetheless, delicious), green curry with chicken & pad si ew with beef. The pad si ew was excellent but the green curry stole the show for me. I could have eaten another serving it was so good. Fresh veggies and chicken with a spice level 3 of 6. We were staying at the hotel nearby over the weekend but didn't get to try because when we called to place order at around 4pm on a Saturday we were told they would not do takeout until after 7pm. Both the food and drinks were delicious, and I really love the convenience of the restaurant being open all week as opposed to weekends only. The only downside was that the service was subpar. No one ever approached us to see if the food turned out okay, if we needed another round of drinks, to refill our waters, etc. We waited for a while before receiving our bill. I highly recommend this place; they served up delicious and authentic Thai food made-to-order. They have you pick on a scale from 1 to 6 on how spicy you want your food. Both the red curry with chicken and spicy basil stir fry with chicken were excellent! Due to COVID, they only offer takeout right now. We called in our ordered last Saturday night and it took about 45 minutes (their website warns of high-volume and slightly longer wait times on the weekend, so plan accordingly and you won't be disappointed). read more

Surprisingly good Thai restaurant hidden on the side of the Sugar Bush Inn. Steamed dumplings were excellent. Drunken noodles could have had more noodles but the dish was delicious and the right level of spice for me (#2). My husband had green curry which he really enjoyed. Very generous pours of wine. Number one, the business is poorly marked, and we are difficulty even finding it, although we were less than a half a mile away. We waited 45 minutes for the food to be prepared. What we received was abysmal. The vegetables seem to be frozen and there were five shrimp, the portion was not even enough to feed one person. They charged $20 for the meal. Wow!! What a gem in this awesome ski town! We absolutely loved the Pad Thai and the signature martini is by far my new fave drink, it's easy to have two so watch out. Dig the fun bartenders and the friendly conversation at the bar. Also a bonus is listening to the damn good live music from the owner himself. Will most definitely be coming back for some great food, always prepared traditionally and with what spice level we are craving. A warm space and the food was good--well, I think it was good I might have been so delirious with hunger that a bowl of dog food would be yummy--because it took an hour and forty minutes for us to be served. Sadly the server didn't pop by from time to time to apologize/blame the kitchen/offer a free drink. We were not the only table waiting, the entire restaurant was wondering where the food was. We came here on a Tuesday night, the restaurant is sort of hiding at the side of an inn. The restaurant has an area in the middle of the room for live music, but it wasn't on when we were there. We were seated, and the waitress took our order right away. I like how they had a scale for spiciness. The meals are a bit pricey. We're from CT and I expect higher prices but $14 for a kids meal (he got chicken, vegetables and rice) is a little expensive at a Thai restaurant. (The Thai restaurant we visit frequently in CT is about $9 for a kids dinner.) We ordered spring rolls, kids chicken meal, the crispy basil duck, beef pad Thai and pork drunken noodles. I ordered a glass of wine. We got the spring rolls within 10 minutes of ordering and they were super hot and tasted great. My older son yummed them up and he doesn't usually eat them. We had finished our appetizer and I was still waiting for the wine. When I asked the waitress she said, "Oh. I guess he hasn't gotten it to you yet. I'll see if I can get it." I thought that was an odd response. The barman didn't look particularly busy and there was only one other family in the restaurant at the time. Our food was very hot. The spice was definitely there, which pleasantly surprised me. My husband said the pad Thai was just okay, lots of noodles and not a lot of meat. My son ate the duck but said the vegetables weren't cooked. All in all, it was an okay dinner, but kind of expensive for what you get. read more

No, not at all. The owner plays live music as the place around him falls apart. He takes up valuable dinner space. You call at 5:30, no answer, online service is shut down, and there is no recourse. Sugarbush is great, the restaurants servicing the skiers are the worst. Miss management is a real issue in the Mad River Vally. Covid is over, run your business like a business. read more
