Excellent service by Kim. She took her time and provided great care. My manicure and pedicure turned out to be simply stunning. I will definitely return back for another relaxing session with Kim!

Had time to spare before my flight back home, so I stopped by Trio Nails for a long overdue mani-pedi. Kelly and Dong both did my nails simultaneously, which I appreciated since it saved me lots of time. Both ladies were extremely friendly and accommodating, allowing me to sit longer to dry my nails since I didn't bring any flip flops. They also did an amazing job! I'll come back when I am in SF again!

Nails turned out great! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, they really paid attention to what I wanted. Great experience overall!

Came here for a gel manicure while on vacation. Friendly workers and a nice clean store! My nails came out great for a reasonable price. I was able to book an appointment really easily and they also accept walk-ins, would definitely recommend!

My technician was meticulous with the polish. Very happy with my gel polish on natural nails.

My hubby and I were walking around Japan Town and on our way back to our car, we walked passed Trio Nails. I thought I could use a pedicure, so we took a peek to see if we could do a walk-in and the ladies gladly took us in. We were the only ones in the salon and the two sweet ladies asked us if we wanted hot tea or water. I asked for the hot tea and they came out with hot tea and peanut butter pretzel bites, which I thought was a nice touch. Looking at their prices, we learned that they do massage services. So while I was getting a pedicure, my hubby got a 30 minute neck and shoulder massage. Everything was going great and they were taking their time with us, until another customer walked in. That's where I felt the service went down. The lady working on my pedicure picked up her pace so the other lady won't have to wait long - and I get it. There's only two of them in the salon at the moment, but I definitely felt rushed. My pedicure turned out nice though. It didn't look sloppy at all even though I felt rushed at the end. My hubby said his massage was ok, but he didn't expect much since massage isn't their specialty.

$35 for mani/pedi? Why not? $10 more (than pedi alone) for a mani is a great deal but doing my own nails looks better than this. The shop is a fairly peaceful oasis that has availability for clients at 6pm, and unfortunately, I see why. Though the people providing the service are friendly, sweet and kind, the service itself left me disappointed. While sitting in the salon, I was relieved that I wasn't there for gel or acrylic, after reading the disappointing reviews. What I didn't realize was that they didn't have standards for any of their licensed skills. A rushed polish on my nails left a disaster on my cuticles. The chair massage was my favorite part of the experience.

My friend and I got gelish manicure yesterday and we were happy when we left but literally a day later the color faded out completely. Also, they tore a pet of my fingers skin trying to remove the cuticle. We went back and they didn't want to give us a refund, we told them we would leave a bad yelp review and they gave us a partial refund. Completely dissatisfied with their service.

Been here a few times now as I just moved to the area. They are super sweet and helpful at Trio nails. You get offered endless amounts of water/tea AND peanut butter pretzels. Score. Come hungry. They always ask if your comfortable and if you want your massage chair on. Also, the attention to detail on your mani is great. So far I've only gotten gel manicures ($25) and they've all been amazing and last the standard two weeks. They also give you gloves to protect your vulnerable little hands from cancerous UV lights - another score. Overall, Trio will now be my new go-to nail salon in SF. Lower Pac Heights bay-bee.

They don't have all the colors and gems but still enough to make amazing designs. Design nails are not super popular in sf which is why many of these salons don't carry the right stuff. But this place has a good amount! They don't have a book of designs which I don't mind. All I did was show them a picture of what I wanted from instagram and the lady replicated it! I love them! For gel and design manicure it was $35 bucks. Not bad! Best price in the city! Easy to park street parking. Friendly staff. Solid nails!

It was my day off, and I was on the verge of tears with my back/neck pain and aching feet. I've never paid more than $50 for a massage in NYC, but I was desperate and I needed something close by that I could get an appointment at today because I've literally been non-functional all day. Suchada answered my phone call and offered availability within 30 minutes. I didn't know what to get from their long list of options, but explained that I had back/neck pain but I'm very sensitive to pressure. I was recommended the Swedish massage, and I opted to get it for 1.5 hours. They told me there was a first time customer discount ($149 instead of $185). The space is very calming and there was a station with orange-infused cold water, which was nice. Jess, my masseuse, was professional and amazing. All the stress and tension in my body melted away, and I tried to fight it but fell asleep during parts of the massage because it was so relaxing. I did find it a bit colder than I would've liked (but I run cold; I prefer temperatures of 74-78 degrees) but it was fine. I liked that the warm towels used to wipe my body of oil were scented. Now that I'm looking at these Yelp reviews, I'm sad that they did not tell me that there's a dry sauna I could've used :( But I otherwise had an amazing experience and I walked out completely rejuvenated. Very worth it. As a note, they apparently offer 15% off Mondays to Thursdays currently. I saw someone in front of me get upset that they do not stamp the loyalty card if there's a discount on the service.

Be mindful of having to pay for parking on some streets as well as parking time limits. One thing to note is that there are two entrances--if it's your first time, the entrance across from Dumpling Time is where you'll check in. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. The waiting area was comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with refreshments, including water, dates, and dried mangoes, which was a nice touch and made the experience feel more hospitable. I booked a 1-hour Thai massage with Vollra. Before the massage, I filled out an intake form where I could indicate my preferred pressure level and any areas that needed extra attention. I requested strong pressure and she absolutely delivered. She was skilled, attentive, and seemed to know exactly where my muscles needed work. My back had been feeling particularly tight, and by the end of the session I could immediately feel a difference. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and significantly looser than when I walked in. A few things to know before booking: the massage areas are separated by curtains rather than private rooms. While this didn't take away from the quality of the massage, noise does travel throughout the facility. During my session, I could hear guests checking in, conversations at the front desk, and people being escorted to their treatment areas. If you're looking for complete silence or total privacy, it's something to keep in mind. I also noticed that this location has a sauna available, though it was never mentioned or offered during my visit. If you're interested in using it, I'd recommend asking when you check in. Overall, the exceptional massage quality, welcoming staff, and thoughtful amenities far outweighed the minor drawbacks. While the open-concept layout may not be ideal for those seeking complete quiet and privacy, the skill of the massage therapists and the warm customer service make this a place I would happily return to. Vollra provided one of the best massages I've ever received, and I'll absolutely be booking again. Be sure to ask about their stamp card rewards program if you plan to go back.

Facilities were clean and lovely, they have the spas and massage rooms on the first floor and a clay and salt room on the second floor. There is a vanity room where there are plenty of snacks and water/coffee/tea for you to rehydrate yourself with. I believe you get an hour before and after your appointment to enjoy all the amenities. And if you get the scrub highly recommend coming early and softening up your skin in the spas beforehand. I got the silverbell 1 hour message, which comes with the scrub, massage, and also a hair wash. The lady was super gentle and checked in on me whether that was the water temperature, scrub pressure or the massage strength. I thought with everything going on in this it might feel too rushed but time felt well budgeted.

Otherwise, you'll need to book a service at least a month in advance. It's situated in Japantown. If you're driving, I recommend parking in the garage as street parking is either by permit and limited to two hours. They kindly pushed our scrub time to later since one of our party members was running a bit behind. This is the first Korean place I've been to where they requested you come an hour earlier versus thirty minutes. Seemed like a long time to soak. There's also no clock inside the actual bathing area, so difficult to keep track of time. Also, first time going to a Korean spa where they want it to be absolutely silent. I get that they are going for a relaxed environment, but kind of difficult to just soak for an hour and not chit chat amongst ourselves. The shower/soaking area is on the smaller side and for some reason, they didn't have any stools for the sitting bathing areas available. There's one hot tub, one ice tub, a dry sauna, and steam sauna. This would have been more of a three-star experience for me if not for the scrub. My ahjumma, Lee, was great; very attentive and did a very thorough job! Not mentioned in the list of services, but they also wash your hair and face as well as part of the thirty-minute scrub. After our scrub, we headed upstairs to try out the Himalayan salt room and the red clay room. They had staff cleaning throughout so they definitely take cleanliness seriously. Locker room area has lots of Aveda product toiletries and blow dryers available for after. As we were leaving, they gave a face and eye mask which was much appreciated. I can see this being a go-to place if you live in the city, especially if you prioritize relaxation and cleanliness. Just be sure to make an appointment ahead of time.
