I tried to work with Jet several times, and really couldn't get any traction. It seems like the focus is money here. I try to get some warranty work done here recently and they wanted to charge me out-of-pocket. I just took it to another Chevrolet dealer and they did the warranty work as they were supposed to. I would love to use these guys because they're actually closer but I just can't do that when people aren't honest. My trust was broken in a few ways. The service Manager reached out and was determined to make things right. I appreciate the care they have taken thus far, with an extensive video on the repairs and services on my truck. Doing a thorough job to make up for the lack is great in the moment, but I wonder if it will be great in the future. I will continue to give them the opportunity to prove to me that I am a valued customer and that they care about doing things right, even when I'm not complaining on Yelp. I've yet to get my truck back, as they would like to hang on to it an extra day to be sure it's all in order, but the video has spoken volumes to me, that they want to correct the failures from before. Thanks to those I've been in contact with, and those who've taken their time to understand my concerns. I have taken my car there for a while. I had bought oil changes with the purchase of my car. So they were free. Summer of 2025 I took my suburban in with an issue. They had my car for 2 1/2 months. Didn't return any of my calls or texts for two weeks and when I finally spoke with someone they said my car needed to get back in line. It had just been sitting there. They had misdiagnosed it two times before they finally found my failed lifter. Told me I needed a whole new engine and then changed that to new coils and finally the failed lifter. I took it back twice because there was a ticking noise I asked if the other lifters could be failing or maybe my cam shaft had gotten damaged. They said no it's fine. So I took it to another Chevy dealer and my cam shaft is damaged. I told Jet Chevy that my warranty was up in 10,000 miles and I can't just buy another car or pay for costly repairs. They did not take care of me nor have any customer service. I definitely do NOT recommend you go here for any type of repairs. read more

I found a 2019 Chevy Camaro SS convertible online at Jet Chevrolet with 12,000 miles. I reached out to a salesman and Lorenzo contacted me back. I liked the car. He sent me an online video. I put down a deposit and a cashiers check to purchase the car. I made arrangements to fly out to Tacoma from Chicago a week in advance. When I arrived in Tacoma and viewed the car, it was filthy. Not detailed. It was like they didn't know I was coming even though I had confirmed my arrival with the sales manager the previous day and they picked me up at the airport. Upon viewing of the car at the dealership, there were numerous scratches, spidering in the paint, a bad dent in the passenger rear quarter panel that was not apparent in the video. 3 of the rims had chipped paint. Met with another salesmen at the dealership that night and he agreed someone dropped the ball. He even offered to repair the car. But it was too late. Horrible experience and certainly a lack professionalism from Lorenzo to make sure the car was detailed and presentable for a purchase. Lorenzo's lack of communication after the deposit was appalling. Never heard back from him other than him following up with me to see who I placed my deposit with. All he wanted was a commission. The pictures don't do this car justice. Jet Chevrolet should reimburse my travel expenses. Do better Jet Chevrolet and beware of this dealership. Lesson learned. read more

Brought my car to Jet that I privately bought. A used 6th gen camaro lt that needed brakes and new transmission valve body. The process for the brakes went smooth- took a few hours after parts arrived. So i came back for the valve body. The car was deemed unsafe to drive so i agreed to let the shop keep it, what i didn't know was that it would take 2 1/2 weeks to get my car back. no loaners were available the first week. between the parts being ordered, the wrong part being sent in (can't really blame the dealership for that but unnecessary time was added), the lack of loaners available until last minute, and the deadline keeps getting pushed. i don't think i'll be returning here for a timely turn around for service. My advisor Mikey was a great help about this process, but the initial finish time was a week ago. I now have my car back and am satisfied with the repair as it removed the check engine light but wow was that a long wait. read more

Terrible-we bought a chevy blazer 2023 two months ago from South Tacoma Auto (our second car we have bought from them). We went and had a first oil change and South Tacoma Auto discover that we had this oil leak and we had to take it to jet chevolet. So Jet had our car last Wednesday and Thursday. Drove it to work Friday and got home and here is this plastic cover hanging down from the right front passenger side-took it back to jet on saturday they said to busy to look and someone will call on monday. No one called so called Tuesday and spoke to eric and told him what was going on. Took it back today (wednesday) and they told us it was not their fault and we can either pay to replace the part or they could zip tie it back on. Excuse me it is your fault you worked on the car and it was on the right side you worked on the car as we have the video of it showing it was the right side of the car. So pissed off right now. Hope to never go back they already have a 2.5 star rating with yelp well it should be 1.0. We have heard stories about this place anyway we should of listen. I want Jet to explain to the public how it is not there fault. Anyway good luck people and hope you don't have issues. I was referred to the owner of Jet Chevrolet when I was in a rush to buy a truck for the tax credit by the end of the year, which was a week away. Spoke to the owner who told me they had the exact truck I wanted (Pearl White Duramax 3500 High Country) on order, and since it had a VIN # already assigned, it qualified for the tax deduction. Turned me over to his sales manager named Dan. We went though all of the features of the truck and I told him I would take it. An hour later I arrived at the dealership to sign on the truck. SURPRISE, that truck had been sold for months, as it had actually be "pre-ordered for someone else." I was told they had a couple others on order that could work. After checking all other dealerships in the area, and striking out with just a few days left to buy, I decided to buy one of the others JET had on order. When the truck arrived several months later, I told Dan I really didn't like the color and wished I could have gotten the truck they originally told me was available and that I hated to spend nearly $100k on my dream truck, to not have it be exactly what I wanted. He then suggested they order me the truck in Pearl White, and told me that the owner would "take care of me since they had misled me on the white one, and that they wanted me to be happy." Waited several more months for the white one to show up. When it came in Dan informed me I would just need to pay an additional $7500 for the white one with the same upgrades. He acted like they were doing me such a service by offering me FULL MSRP on the first truck, ignoring the fact that I had just paid $10k over MSRP, and they could easily sell the truck for what I paid. I have bought 40-50 vehicles from dealerships and have never dealt with one quite like JET. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere should you be in the market for a vehicle. Keep in mind, I was PERSONALLY REFERRED TO THE OWNER by one of his good friends, and this is how they took care of me. read more

UPDATE on a one star review from a few months ago regarding a 2017 VW AllTrack: Hunter and I exchanged several emails. He did nothing to help remedy this. Despite providing him pictures of the nearly empty coolant reservoir, and photographic evidence of a leaking coolant system, he insisted that there actually was no leak at all and the 3rd party shop that specializes in imports my wife and I took the car too was just trying to drum up more business for themselves. Time and time again, Jet Chevy says "we'll take care of you", but then they only seem to take care of themselves. We had agreed on a price for a car in good working order. A certified import shop found the vehicle needed a new water pump and new brake rotors, among more minor things. Jet Chevy replaced one set of rotors and refused the rest. They upped the price to cover the rotors and have let it sit. It's insanity that they would insist we trust them over a 3rd party with (much) higher ratings - especially with pictures of the leak...! Do NOT trust Jt Chevy. My wife and I walked away from the car we were set to pay cash for, and we don't regret it. read more

Consumer beware!! If you have any work done on a vehicle here get everything in writing!!!! We ordered a motor for our 1997 Tahoe through Jet and had them install it. After a month and a half, several phone calls, text messages, ect. the final bill for the installation was $2800 OVER the estimate they gave us over the phone. Ethan in service and the manager John in the service department are beyond shady and definitely don't stick to the estimate they gave us. Not to mention that a simple motor installation took 57 hours!!! And my husband had to go get parts from the junk yard for them!!! Just went through the process of buying a squeaky clean Chevrolet Express Passenger Van. They made it extremely easy and even let us take it to our mechanic to see if anything was wrong with it before we signed the dotted line. There's no communication from the service department. Every up date I got was from when I called and that's if they actually answered. Half the time when I did answer I was told that they couldn't give me any updates because the tech that was working on my truck wasn't in that day. After having the truck for a week(when they said the truck would be done) I went in to pick it up and they told me that they're waiting on a call from the parts department to see if they can get the part they need. At that time I was informed that all they've done in a week was try and clean the part. They finally order the part and say it'll be 4-5 business days to get it. This truck isn't just a daily driver it's a box truck that I use for work and am loosing money every day that it's in the shop and they understood that before taking my truck on. read more

First, they installed a faulty LoJack that I waited for over an hour to be installed. I had to go to another dealership to get one installed that works. Went back here for an oil change after a few months of driving, and it took them over an hour and a half. Said they had another car on the jacks that delayed servicing mine. I don't normally do reviews but the fact that they tried to squeeze some money out of me really pisses me off. I had to take my Silverado in to get some recall work done (new airbag). While they had it they sent me a message that said "TIME SENSITIVE" and the message said my truck needed a new serpentine belt. The thing is I put a new belt on it last year. And I had another reputable mechanic look at the belt who confirmed it was in great shape. And the craziest part is they quoted me $460!!! Are you kidding me?! I put mine on last year in 5 minutes and the new belt cost me $25 at NAPA. I have no respect for a company that willingly tries to screw over their customers. Not satisficed with the outcome! The response is the typical response. I think that there is lack of communications with the service person and the service writer. I was finally told at the 2nd or 3rd visit that there was a RECALL NOTICE (not a TSB) and it had been addressed, they didn't look at the previous repair and wanted to charge me a 2nd itme! I think what irritates me the most is the fact the dealership is under staffed (which in these times are not unusual), the fact that I am a woman (which they will highly deny) and that once complaints have been logged they do not respond until you post a negative response everywhere! I originally wrote a long letter explaining the situation to the service manager with no response after a month! I filed a complain with the Better Business Bureau again with no response! This is very poor business practice!! When you call and leave a message NO ONE calls you back! It finally took a negative review on YELP to get this acted on. It looks like I am not the only one to have complaints about the service department! I have no choice but to live with it but the only thing I will continue to have done is my lifetime oil change since it is a contract that I can't get out of it! today I went to look at an Chevy EV just a test deive I have a 19 Equinox I wanted to see how the trailblazer/Equinox EV drives. When I pulled up I was approached by a younger asian descent guy maybe 25-30 years old, he seemed sketch about helping me knowing the car industry I know I need insurance and ID, when I told him I wanted to test drive I already had my I.D. out we went inside let my mom and baby in the car. he went to the back with my id he came back for my insurance which I already had pulled up he was in the back for a while I could see him talking to coworkers and figiting on my phone for a while few minutes. I thought that as Wierd when I got my phone back I noticed it wasn't on the screen where I gave it to him my insurance he was in my photo gallery and on my setting and connected to their WiFi. Which was inappropriate and I didn't give them consent to do. I knew because for 1 they have private WiFi which is password word protected that I was connected to and I had screenshots taken on my phone which were clearly sent via airdrop to another device because they had printout of my screen where my insurance was. if you do decide to go to the dealership I wouldn't deal with that Asian guy for this reason personal things on your phone/ pictures and connecting to other devices without your consent should never happen. read more

We showed up 15 min early for our appointment and told them we would be waiting. Fast forward 2 hours later, our vehicle hadn't even been touched. When we asked what was going on, they said they were down a tech. Lack of communication from them. Why weren't we told this when we showed up for our appointment? Very unacceptable. When I noticed that the truck on the Factory website no longer said in transit I figured my truck came in. I called Jet Chev to see if my truck was in I was told they were busy and I would be called back. This went on for 3 days so I drive to the dealership.
