First time JetBlue flyer! Took a short, non-stop flight from JAX to FLL and although my departure flight was delayed 30 minutes from boarding, I had a great experience. Never have I ever been on a flight that was delayed where the pilot came out and spoke in detail about the reason for the delay, what was done by the maintenance team, and what will happen next. Not only that but he detailed his years of flight experience, including maintenance experience, and time in the AirForce to express his confidence in flying the aircraft based on the results of the maintenance teams work. Lastly, Capt Mark Mitchell (Flight 17) spoke on the importance of us getting to our friends family and shared that to JetBlue all passengers are family. This was such a kind gesture. Once we were ready to take off, we had a longer delay waiting for FAA clearance. At this point, I would have arrived sooner if I had driven but it is what it is. For such a short flight, an economy ticket was sufficient. Surprisingly the seats were comfortable and spacious!! I'm 5'0" on a good day but these seat would be comfortable for a much taller person to stretch out their legs. The flight attendants were friendly and the cabin was clean and new. My return flight could easily cause this review to go from a 5 to a 2... the crew is not the issue. The planes are the issue!! We departed from the gate for an on time departure. We taxied down the runway then the Captain comes on board and says "we must return to the gate because the computers stopped working so maintenance needs to take a look at the issue." The flight was delayed an hour. We arrived in Jax safe and sound. I did witness flight attendants personally go to passengers with certain flights and layovers that may be impacted by the delay or the weather to provide options. Many decided to deplane for later flights. Again, this shows that JetBlue does care about their passengers. read more

After flying jet blue for 10 years this was my final straw with their lack of care after delaying my first flight for 3 hours , diverting my flight 3 hours away from my destination only to leave all passengers stranded either no accommodation! Not a care in the world for any of us .. they didn't offer food , water or try to get us out after 7 hours ! After midnight the pilot used excuses and told us we are stuck and will have to see when s flight leaves the following day.... Well after 22 hours and no updates , we jumped on a greyhound after booking a hotel on our own expense to get home ! JetBlue ticketing , customer service agents and flight crew all deserve to be fired and passengers reimbursed ! read more

Hey everyone. It really only takes one google search. I have not seen one person speak highly of jetblue in the 30 minutes I have been researching this airline. The lack of empathy, awareness and simple respect that customer service/staff obtain is genuinely very concerning. I'm not sure what we need to do as a community to either improve this issue, or just simply remove jetblue from airports period, but something needs to be done. Families have been stranded. Loved ones have been screamed at. And luggage has been neglected. There's multiple reporting of uncleanliness in their aircraft's as well. Rude Gate Agent- I happened to be walking up to the gate as the agent was saying his last sentence so I didn't get to hear the beginning of his speech regarding a cancellation. So I walked up without an attitude and calmly asked him to repeat what he said and he just took out the microphone and yelled into it that everyone else heard what he said and never repeated his announcement. Essentially he shamed me in front of at least 20 people. I understand he didn't have any answers from those standing around and he was clearly frustrated but his reaction was totally disrespectful. Had someone use a card in Fruad of $800 from UT to Sac Cali, called the airlines to have them refund us the money, 3 separate people all said they couldn't refund nor would transfer us to a Fruad line which was stated they had. so someone got a 1st class ticket and hotel while we have to return groceries to pay bills so we don't end up homeless a 3rd time. Although I did economy class...the room was spacious enough. I have flown in other airline and I can feel the economy class. The people were friendly, check in was slightly chaotic but that's normal. Foodgoing internationally was good...and I felt like they were constantly feeding you. read more

The flight attendant came around and said anyone who fills out an application and is accepted will receive 70,000 points automatically I did and was accepted. After I paid a $100.00 cc fee and used the card a few times I wanted to use my points. I was told that I had to charge $1,000.00 within in 90 days and make a $100.00 payment to get the points. I was a Road warrior for many years and have flown on most airlines. JetBlue is in my top 2. Easy to book flights, the cost is very reasonable and flight attendants are NICE!!! I always upgrade to the more roomier seats and that gets you priority boarding, This is great for ensuring your carryon luggage stays with you. JetBlue flies to all the major cities and out of most airports. I love flying them when I go to NY. The beer selections are good and FREE snacks. What a concept on flights these days. JB is my go to airline The flights are usually on time and the ride is just fine. Check in is easy on the computer and in person. The Jet Blue terminal at JFK is nice, clean and has good restaurants as well as space to relax. Well it's no all good as their advertised Flyfi did not work on the trip one way and worked for only a short period of time leaving me in the middle of a movie. Not happy. In addition I forgot to bring my headphones so I had to purchase a a pair for $26 in the airport. My fault. Problem was on both flights they did not connect well to hear the sound and I had to hold the connector if I wanted to hear sound. C'mon Jet Blue get it together. So very disappointed in Jet Blue. This is the second time our flight has been cancelled or delayed in the past 2 years. Their reasoning this time was that they had no crew. Out flight had been booked for 8 months and now this??? The best they can do is give us a voucher for 16.00??? We received 17 texts saying our flight was switched 17 times. As a consolation they said it would finally come at 1:00 am, they had a crew, and it was a larger plane so we could stretch out. JetBlue flies direct to many places but what they don't tell you is that they only have 1 plane servicing a region. Once that plane has a delay, you are stuck. It's much better to take a larger airline, Delta or American and connect. JETBLUE is JETLATE. This airlines novelty of TVs has worn off. It's a discount airline with limited planes that sticks its passengers for hours or even days in a location without hesitation. MOSAIC status means standing like a STATUE at the gate for many hours without movement on many occasions. This airline has lost its luster. I bought my thickets online and paid for two seats on row 14. When I tried to check in, noticed that they changed our seats to two seats on row 24. I tried to call them but my wait time was 230 minutes. I went to the airport 2 hours to my flight and asked them to fix the problem. The seating is as comfortable as Economy can be with sufficient legroom and overhead storage. Your attendants are pleasant and super organized. My only request: please add more stops. My wife & I live in the Florida Keys. Our grandchildren live in NH. Our grandchildren come to see us every summer and this year we decided to have them fly Jet Blue unaccompanied minor non-stop from Boston the Ft Lauderdale. All arrangements and our paperwork was completed before the tickets were issued. Our son in law drove the kids to Logan airport with hours to spare to put the boys on the unaccompanied minor program to fly down and have my wife & I pick them up in Ft Lauderdale. It is a 4 hour drive for us to the airport so we went up and stayed overnight near the airport. When we woke up we discovered that the ticket agent was unable to complete the unaccompanied minor paperwork in Boston before the plane left so the boys luggage came to Florida, but not the boys. To add to the problem there was a terrible hassle trying to retrieve the boys luggage even though we had all the paperwork to retrieve the boys had they landed. NO OFFER to get the boys to us for two more days and NO Offer to put them on another airline (there are several) to get them to us for days. Just come back days later and we will try again. All this because an agent was untrained on the paperwork or was just plain incompetent. They charge an additional $150 per child for this service and they don't know how it works. Jet Blue goes to the TOP of my "DON'T FLY" list. read more

I have been a Mosaic Jet Blue customer for over 10years. I'm now a senior citizen that owns my own business and while I used to travel frequently Covid was the first part that put a halt to my travel but 15 months ago my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The only 2 flights we have taken were to Smdana Farber Cancer institute. Jet Blue wants me to pay 2k to maintain my Mosaic status as I wasn't able to make the mileage goal due to the situations i mention above. Long story short, DAWN ROGERS= Great Customer Service. But, I'll tell you the story anyhow! On Wednesday, September 2nd, I was scheduled to leave JAX on flight 101 at 5:42pm. Due to bad weather on my commute from St. Augustine, two accidents on I-95 north, rush hour traffic, and long airport security lines ... I missed my flight. I arrived at the gate at 5:32, and no agent was at the desk. Two agents (Dawn & Monica) returned to the desk at 5:35pm and told the 3 other passengers and myself that "the plane had already pushed back", "policy states that doors close 10 minutes until departure and cannot be reopened", and basically we were screwed (in a professional manner). Yes, I was pissed (but more whiny because I knew I was cutting it close... too close) and didn't want to accept defeat. Yes, I said "but it's not 5:42 yet." Yes, I repeated that "I was at the gate 10 minutes prior to departure and they weren't at the desk." Yes, I asked why again... making Dawn repeat the reason and policy 2 more times. Then, I got over myself and asked her to please help me get to LAX. Dawn, immediately sprang into action. She searched, she failed, she re-searched, the computer screamed at her, she called Monica over to assist her. in so many words, Monica told her it was a lost cause (because the flight I needed was already in the boarding process and wouldn't let Dawn exchange, or change my ticket) and then sauntered away. Dawn continued to try different connections and solutions for me on her own. Monica returned to the other computer said something to Dawn about" Boston", and "going on Silver" before telling me that "I would have to try again tomorrow and/or pay a fee." Meanwhile, I'm hovering at the desk watching their every move. Monica's being a "negative Nancy", while Dawn is focused and unresponsive to her; still hacking away at the computer. Right before my eyes, Dawn was going above and beyond to "try" and make things work out for me. Finally, after numerous attempts, Dawn mumbles, "I don't know how but I think I got it to work!" I said, "I said a prayer." She looks up and says, "Well it worked!" She got me on the NY to LAX flight. Yes... the same one that was already boarding, she checked me in, changed my seat to row 1 so I could make my quick connection, printed my boarding passes, and personally WALKED me over to Gate A4. Icing on the cake... I didn't pay a penny. "DAWN ROGERS for President!" This is what makes loyal customers. I'd gladly pay extra to receive this type of service. Dawn truly gets it! I wanted her to care enough to keep looking, and she did. I wanted her to be relentless (especially when Monica chimed in with all sorts of No's) and she did. There are so many airlines to choose from, and I'm a TrueBlue member, but trust me, I'd use JetBlue exclusively if I was guaranteed to get Dawn's awesome service! I love Jet Blue and this is now my first choice when selecting an airline. Great app, great and friendly customer service, clean planes, plenty of snack options, and I did get to experience one of their "Mint" planes (planes with a self serve snack and beverage station) which was perfect for a long flight to San Fran. They really blow the other airlines out of the water for me, so when I'm traveling, this will continue to be my first stop. read more

I called for 2 Consecutive Days where the wait time was (200) Minutes, After Finally getting thru after the 3 hour Wait, the rep was mot apologetic, he was talking to me like a robot , the fare had increased $101 dollars,, he was not a problem solver, then I had to purchase my flight insurance separate. I was overcharged on my bag fees which costed more than the flight. When I asked the front desk person at check in, she said I had to pay an additional $150 which is more than 4x the cost of 1 bag. It was a small carry-on bag and when I went to the flight itself, there was so much room for other bags. That was not great customer service on all fronts. I would like a refund and then maybe I will change my rating. There was no consideration to even consider that this doesn't seem right and there was room under my seat and overhead to put additional bags. More than enough. The bag fee for 1 bag is $30, $40 for bag 2 and bag 3 then is $150. How does that math work? It doesn't make sense and was very frustrating. The bag fees should be more reasonable, and the customer service should be more accommodating to the flyer. Great customer service goes a long way, and I don't think this was present all the way from start to finish. Lastly, none of the tv's worked. It was all grainy, wavy visual and was unresponsive during the flight. It didn't work until the end of the fight. Was a very frustrating time to say the least. read more

Waited for over 3 hours due to delays. When they finally allowed us to board everyone, I got an alert indicating that the flight was again delayed another hour. When I asked a crew member if this was true, he assured it was not. We pulled away from the airport about 30 feet, and again stopped for the delay I was assured would not happen. The lack of communication was ridiculous. After sitting for the hour, we again began moving to the runway only to be stopped again FOR ANOTHER HOUR. After that, they finally let us off the plane, but once again said there was no information about whether the flight would actually happen that night. The final straw was when I asked the pilot if they would making a decision on whether it would be cancelled after 6 hours of waiting, to which he snickered and told me "I could just give another update, I could not" The customer service, lack of communication and blatant disrespect is something I have never encountered by any other airline. If the delays were not bothersome enough, the air conditioning above my seat steadily dripped water onto me throughout the entire flight. I WILL NEVER FLY JETBLUE AGAIN! Gotta Love Jet Blue. Had family of 8 traveling - 1 in wheelchair - perfect from start to finish. Easy check - great friendly service at JIA - easy boarding process. Clean modern planes. Two of the 8 video screens were not working at our seats - nothing flight crew can do. Snack service great! Box snack sales can be pricey, however if you use your Jet Blue credit card, you get 50% off. Perfect!!!! Flight crew on flight 1210 JAX to BOS 7/15/18 - Perfect!
