Two stars as my flight from Rochester to Puerto Plata was uneventful and as expected. My issue arises from the fact that on my departure date from puerto plata, I received a text and email at 7am when my flight was scheduled to leave at 3:30, depart the hotel at noon that flights were canceled due to north east weather. Thunderstorms had been bad in the area. I get that things happen but Jet Blue did not handle this properly. Their instructions were to go to the app and book other flights. There was a flight the following day and Monday. But then the app went glitchy and would only show a white screen. The website did the same thing. Eventually I did get another email that said no flights were available but they'd keep looking to rebook until August 11th but if we could find other flights then to cancel and they would provide a full refund. We had to do that because there was no way I was staying in the Dominican another 5 days. The issue is that JetBlue was the only airline canceling the number of flights they did. Other airlines were still flying into JFK. Yes, safety first. But I waited hours for JetBlue to call me when their screens were white and glitchy as they were not prepared to handle the site traffic after their mass cancellations. No time during my call did the agent say,"yeah, no flights are available for the next week for your departure. Just hang in there. We are going to add additional flights. But in meantime, why don't you go check with the hotel to see if they have room for another day?" No, we ended up spending an additional $1500 on flights on copa air that flew to Toronto and then had to get a hotel there and rent a car in the morning and drive to Rochester. Jet Blue's entire handling of this was so inadequate and rookie level. Also, the agent did send me a reimbursement request form but their rules to it are insane. No accountability and they only reimburse in travel points. No accountability for the chaos they caused. I get flights get canceled. Their resolution and response time in that scenario on 8/8 was completely unprofessional, inadequate, and amateur level. Two stars because at least departure was smooth. Do better Jet Blue.

Looking for flights from the New York City's Manhattan area (Financial district), there are a few airports nearby like JFK, EWR, LaGuardia. I decided to book a flight, recently, with JetBlue on a nonstop flight from Newark Liberty International Airport to Orlando International Airport, and it was a great experience! It was my first time flying out of Newark Liberty, and I booked the late night nonstop flight departing around 9:00 PM because I needed to get to Orlando for race day packet pickup for the RunDisney Springtime Surprise 2026 race. It worked out perfectly, but I did get to the hotel around 1:30 A.M though! There were a lot of open seats available on the flight! Having some extra space on a late night trip made the journey much more comfortable and relaxed! Boarding was smooth and fast! The service was also fantastic. The flight attendants were friendly, and attentive throughout the flight, even though it was a later departure! The flight itself was smooth, and before I knew it, I was arriving in Orlando Florida! This was an excellent JetBlue experience. Comfortable flight, plenty of open seats, great service, and the convenience of a nonstop route from Newark to Orlando. I would definitely book this route again in the future and look for potential flights into EWR from Las Vegas!

I'm working on a project in Florida and I've been using only Jet Blue (economy) recently mainly because of the legroom and their customer service. So far I've had zero delays and the communication in the terminal and on their flights is excellent. Wonderful staff.

I've been flying every couple of months on JetBlue and I still really like them. Once on board you can control what you watch or listen to. I love using the app to book my flights, get my seat assignment and decide what level I want to pay for when it comes to my ticket. The staff is always very friendly, especially when you're on board. When you fly JetBlue you get free movies, free TV, free music, free Wi-Fi, a free nonalcoholic drink,and snack. .. They are serving alcohol again, and there is a charge and you must use a credit card whether you purchase food, drinks, earphones, blankets, pillows etc. You don't get all the riffraff like when you fly Spirit Airlines. Passengers are normally very quiet and they know how to handle their children so they're not unruly. I love that they board people very quickly and if there's no backup at Newark, you can get out immediately. Sometimes there's an occasional delay but that problem has to do with Newark Airport and not having enough Air Traffic Controllers and too many planes departing and arriving. Sometimes the pilot can make up time in the air. I also love that JetBlue is in the new terminal A and not terminal C, which is the international terminal and a pain in the neck to get in and out of. Now JetBlue and United have joined forces together. Hopefully for the better. Only time will tell.

The flight attendants are quite friendly, and accommodated specific requests. The overall flight was alright, despite quite a few of turbulences, and the departing and landing were very smooth. I would like to fly with JetBlue again.

Bonjour... First time flying out from Terminal A at Newark Liberty in a long time. Despite the fact having a reserved TSA check-in at 5am, my partner and I waited on the regular line only 20 minutes as we arrived earlier than expected. The agent had to move us to a new screening line closer to the gate as more passengers were arriving and the current at a stand still. However, there was another 10 minute wait until the rest of the TSA staff arrived to move the conveyor belt with our carry on. At 605am, there was only one concession (Abica Coffee) open with a long line serving hot coffee. Instead of waiting, we opted for some cold sandwiches from Hudson News. They were okay but the lettuce on my chicken salad was wilted. All over experience was good. Signing off to board the plane. Bonne journée à tous.

Love jetblue out of Newark. I've never had a problem. Seats are big, free Directv, satellite radio and snacks. I'm at a point where I'm pissed when jetblue doesn't fly to the city I'm traveling to. Book early enough and the prices are very reasonable. Nothing but props for Jetblue. read more

I'm well aware of the potential for delays when flying, but this evenings experience with JetBlue was amateur hour at its finest. The weather was not severe enough for flights to be delayed or canceled, yet we're faced with the prospect of close to a 4 hour delay. No real reason and poor communication from from the Jb team. On top of it all Terminal A at EWR is a joke. Bar closed at 9 and options are limited for entertaining yourself hours on end. Normally don't complain, but they dropped the ball on this one. Flight was just pushed another 30 min as I was writing (4th delay). How is it the expectation of over promising and under delivering is now the standard. And how do you miss the mark so badly? Only business in the world where a high bar is set at mediocrity. read more

Wow. Where do I even start with Jet Blue. I've had two HORRENDOUS experiences with them. The first one was when the plane left 20 minutes early and we had to wait 3 hours for the next one. No refund, and they made us PAY MORE. The second one was today when mechanically the plane wasn't working and they made us wait THREE hours just to tell us mmmm time to go on another plane! No refund. No discount.The people who work here CLEARLY have low intelligence and don't care about their customers. The staff was rude the first time when we missed our flight and wasn't accommodating or welcoming. The staff was rude the second time as well saying that they don't have a definite answer and don't know what they can do for us.... mmmm then why do you work here and what is your role here? To do nothing?! I've had to wake up around 4 AM for a flight that didn't happen and we STILL had to pay full price. The flight was supposed to leave 6:30 however now it's 9 o'clock and we are sitting here. Our flight was rescheduled to 6:00 PM!! Jet Blue doesn't have their shit together and I beg everyone, please do not fly with Jet Blue, because frankly it's a scam and they are wasting EVERYONES time. They do not care about the well being of their customers and they only care about people's MONEY. Sooo mmm I wish there was a ZERO star rating but there isn't, so giving them one star is very generous. Jet Blue, thanks for making people's airplane experience totally miserable. read more

My family and I, including my mom, flew last month and the JetBlue employees were so helpful to my mom who required a wheelchair at both airports! I scheduled a vacation for my boyfriend and I to Puerto Rico as a Christmas gift through Expedia. I was informed that the airline that we would travel with would be Jet Blue and since I have never flown with them I was happy that I would finally have a chance to check them out. Boy was I wrong! I was scheduled to leave on a Sunday and return on a Wednesday which was a short getaway, but just enough for us. Unfortunately I ran later than expected when getting to the airport due to traffic, but I still managed to arrive before my scheduled departure time. However, upon my arrival I was told that the flight left early and the only other flights that they had for the day would get me to Puerto Rico at 9 pm. After running around the airport checking other airlines that might get me into Puerto Rico a little earlier I was informed by a Jet Blue supervisor, (through an Expedia representative) that the flight did not leave, but had been sitting at the gate for the last 2 1/2 hours due to mechanical trouble. When I went back to check-in I was informed that the plane was indeed still at the gate and given my boarding passes without as much as an apology. I rushed to get to the plane, but when I arrived the plane was just pulling out. To make a long story short; I had to cancel my entire vacation due to Jet Blues negligence with my travel arrangements. You would think that after all of this that they would offer me something for all that I went through right? At least call me to apologize right? Well you would be wrong. Instead they gave me more terrible customer service. The only thing that they offered is for me to take a flight which would put me in Puerto Rico at 10pm which would have been fine if they agreed to extend my vacation for me one day due to the day that I lost in travel, but they refused. And Although I didn't make it to Puerto Rico my bags did and I was told that I would receive a phone call when my luggage arrived. I was not called and when I was able to get in touch with Jet Blue I was told that I would have to pick up my luggage. After all that I have been through they refused to deliver it?!?!?!? TRUST ME...DO NOT FLY WITH JET BLUE read more

jetblue lied and did not stand by and uphold their payment policies. don't trust them. they promised that you could use paypal and it would be a safe transaction and you would be protected. but what they don't tell you is that by using paypal they; jetblue can not protect you from paypal deciding they will take the money back. beware this could happen to you while you are actually in the middle of your travels. then what? you could be stuck at your destination without any way home. this happened to me. thank god i had not traveled yet! i had purchased a ticket using part of my paypal balance. i was sick therefore i could not travel. because i had a contagious disease a supervisor at jetblue allow me to cancel my flight without penalty. she refunded me and put it "safely" into a travel bank fund. a week and a half later i was feeling better so i decided to start looking at rebooking my flights. i went onto jetblue.com and found some decent flights. i went into my jetblue bank and to my dismay, there was only $165 of the $355 i originally had. i immediately called jetblue to ask them what had happened. in the travel bank it appeared there were two purchases which i myself did not make. i then went into my paypal account as well as my email account. what i found was unbelievable; it showed that jetblue had refunded the money but when i spoke to jetblue they said they did nothing of the sort. so really what happened? no one could tell me nor did they care to tell me. well needless to say the refund was not even in my paypal account! so jetblue and paypal have a scheme going where they keep the door open to dismantle people's money and leave them possibly stranded. no wonder jetblue didn't make the cut for top 10 airlines to travel! what if i had gone on my trip and this happened? and i had no money or way to get home?? your payment is not safe with jetblue nor paypal. neither one of these companies cares about their customers. i have yet to get to the bottom of this. jetblue if you are reading this...i want my 189.90 in jetblue travel bank funds back!!!! i won't stop telling my story on every blog there is until i receive it back!!! if it was mistake on your part i will accept your apology and you can give me back my jetblue credit. that is all i will accept!! i must say i am totally disappointed that you such a big giant would be in cahoots with paypal a company with such a shady reputation!! do what is right jetblue!! read more

To go through airport security all over again. Mind you we had to run to our gate since it was the last gate of course. This was just a crazy experience to go through. There should be more organization for individuals who are trying to get to a connecting flight. Maybe another line that specifically says connecting flight, in order for the process to be sped up. All of that to get to our gate and find out that boarding was delayed.... Once we got to FLL airport, we went to get our checked luggage to find out that my friend's duffle bag was as still in Newark. Mind you her bag was the first to be placed to get checked back in. Luckily they shipped it the next day to her house. But she should've received her bag right after deplaning just like the rest of us. I'm disappointed but relieved that my friend received her duffle bag in one piece.

I thought I could sleep on the plane, but it was so uncomfortable, I couldn't really sleep. I feel like I'd be fine on a daytime flight though. - Delays are pretty likely. Mine was initially delayed for 20 minutes and in the end, an hour. It could be troublesome if it's an connecting flight and you might miss the next one. If they have super cheap tickets again, I'd probably choose them, except for overnight flights.

The dinner was a spicy rice (ok if you like spicy) with what looked like chicken. Lufthansa does a much better job with meals comparatively. For breakfast we received an egg on English muffin. Only 4 bathrooms for such a huge plane is definitely not good... they said they would clean them throughout the flight, but every time I used it, it was a mess... disappointing for sure. Overall the expensive price for comfort + wasnt worth it at all.

Line already started and the Delta employees show up 415 am.... Unless it has changed I thought show time was 3 hours for international and 2 hour for domestic flights. We showed up early since the gov shutdown and issues with the air traffic controllers... so does that mean the check-in section can be even more lazy and who's up when they want? Please let me know if I am wrong about the show times for international and domestic flights.

American Airlines Newark check-in staff this morning around 4:15 AM were extremely rude and…read moreunprofessional. The entire customer service experience was nasty from the beginning. What really bothered me was seeing a Spanish-speaking passenger struggle because he didn't speak much English, and the staff showed little patience or professionalism. It honestly came across as dismissive and discriminatory instead of helpful. To make matters worse, the flight attendants were not pleasant either and carried attitude throughout the flight. I'm currently connecting in Dallas and hoping the next flight experience is completely different because so far this has been unacceptable customer service. Do better, American Airlines. Side note I wish I could give zero stars.

What a a great deal, great flight, and great staff…read more This flight was from LMM to EWR and it was 4 hours of smooth sailing. We purchased the seats three rows back from the entrance door where the middle seat can't be purchased so we could have all three seats to ourselves months in advance and got a great deal. The seats were pretty comfy and there was a lot of legroom compared to economy. The service was great and the pilots did a great job too. I've flown Frontier a couple times over the years but this was the best flight I've ever had with them, other than the flight from EWR to LMM. Thanks again for everything. Safe travels :)

I booked Frontier for my NYC-LA trip from May 29 to June 5. They sold me a connecting itinerary with only 50-70 minutes between flights. That's not just tight -- it's impossible. I was supposed to fly Santa Ana Denver NYC (LGA) But my flight was delayed until I missed the connection again. So they rerouted me to Santa Ana Denver Atlanta NYC That's 3 flights with 22-hour overnight layover, just to reach the same coast. I couldn't believe No hotel. No help. No luggage. I had to: - Buy clothes - Spend on food - Pay $50+ for transport - Use 35,000 Marriott points for hotel And this happened across almost every flight I took -- delay after delay. The next day, I went to the Frontier counter at DEN to print my boarding pass and sort things out. To my shock -- I saw that a direct flight from Denver to NYC was available. I had asked for that exact flight the night before. The agent told me: "Unavailable." I begged for help. I was exhausted. The only answer I got was: "No. It's airline policy." They offered that same direct flight... for $400 more -- on top of the $495 I already paid. When I finally got to NYC, they told me to pick up my bag at LGA. At midnight I went. No staff. Just silence. Now I have to return to the airport again tomorrow, just to pick up a luggage that should've arrived with me. This isn't "low-cost" travel. Things generally run smoothly with things with TSA depending on the airlines and I can say the same for most everything here and usually no complaints it's just a larger airport. This time around I flew Delta and for me I'm grateful everything went smoothly even with such a short distance Gainsville to Jersey with one layover sometimes this can be frustrating but all is well and they know what they are doing. You are not going to get any personal attention like you do at the smaller airports. Newark is large and always very crowded I actually prefer Atlanta but I never spend much time in either thankfully. On my return home at Newark my flight again was on time and everything at the airport went ok. It's always a lot of chaos and I noticed that there was a lot going on from a major multi year construction as part of a massive regional modernization framework being done. All of this has made moving around a little bit more challenging in certain areas of the airport. Some of the active projects include a 3.5 billion replacement of the AirTrain system and initial upgrades for a 200 million dollar overhaul of terminal B and ongoing airfield and radar enhancements. This definitely made it a little more difficult for me as well to navigate through where I needed to go. Still grateful that Newark is only 20 minutes from my son and daughter in laws. The pods have been the same model for some years now but it doesn't look all that dated. The flight attendants were highly attentive, with proper etiquette and solid postures that all smelt of elegance. The food was good too- par with more airlines' first class actually. There's free Wi-Fi for first and business classes but you can only have it on one device at a time. The seats completely flatten into a bed, making the 19 hour flight to Singapore from New York a bit more bearable. I'm also 5'1 so the length was good for me. The Virgin Lounge for SQ is located on the upper floor if you're going from Newark by the way. Make sure you grab the QR code and order early bc they take a while to make food. All in all, a very pleasant experience for a pretty dreadfully long flight.
