Typically we have been flying with frontier and spirit because of fare prices.. but we were heading to PR and found a pretty good deal round trip on jet blue. We arrived SUPER early to the airport, got on the plane just fine and then the DELAY... 50 min waiting on the plane it was because the computer went out(pretty important). It wasn't pleasant but we got to our destination. On the way home.... ANOTHER delay!!! This time because of storm clouds... the pilot said it's better to wait than fly through them. We waited on the plane again. The staff was friendly, the bathrooms clean, the snacks good the seats ok. I'm always looking for the best deals. But over the past two yrs on other airlines mentioned above, NO delays! On our way home we had to check our bag at the gate because it was a full plane well they LOST our bag! We waited at the carousel, asked the info desk he sent us to the jet blue counter where the man said oh yes three more bags are coming out. So we walked all the way back to the carousel and waited... nothing... my husband went back and talked to the guy who looked it up and insisted it was on the way out. Now 45 min after.. finally they admitted to it being misplaced. They eventually found it. JetBlue is located in thermal C at MCO it's new and beautiful but there isn't a Dunkin.

Terminal C that opened up in 2022 is absolutely amazing. Eternal itself is easy to navigate and has such a clean environment . Many restrooms, many stores, even though the prices are what you would expect at an airport. They also have a local presence which is nice, two breweries counter service to grab a beer at. A large variety of food options , my favorite is the Sunshine Diner. There is a part service to help with customers that need a little bit of extra assistance to get to their gate. the "JustAsk" Desk had a representative available. PSA - unlike most airports your departure level is at the bottom level not top level.

MCO-SYR. Excellent leg room. Seats were comfortable and the best landing I've ever experienced. Only downside is that the plane was like 30 years old and the in-flight entertainment was not from 2025 so we weren't able to watch movies. But I love the airline. They gave me a full soda can and I didn't ask for one! Nice people

I just completed my first flight with Jet Blue, my normal carriers have recently failed miserably so I decided to try another airline and I will say finding this direct flight out of MCO to BDL and back was smooth sailing. The entire experience from signing up for their TrueBlue rewards program to booking this flight online was a painless and efficient experience. With the recent reliability issues across the entire airline industry I try and book direct flights whenever possible especially since 2022 has been a year of delays and cancellations - it's not a guarantee of trouble free flying but the risk is greatly reduced so I take the best odds I can get even if I have to pay up a little. The A320 Aircraft is a beautiful piece of engineering, Jet Blue's configuration allows you the option of picking a wider much roomier seat with lots of leg room there is a modest up charge for these premium seats but there nothing like it in the industry that I know of excluding first class of course. The boarding process out of Orlando was well organized and smooth thanks to some very friendly and professional gate agents and the Jet Blue crew onboard provided that same level of service and professionalism. I know this is just a snap shot but I'll definitely look at them for future flight when the destination align...

    the funeral I missed

Had a flight 5/8/25. It was for my grandmothers funeral, they delayed the flight over ten times because of weather when nothing was even showing on the radars. My flight was at 5:30pm and took off at 1:30am and I didn't get to go on said flight because my mother had work and I wouldn't have anyone to pick me up in CT from the airport. I ended up missing her funeral. That is something no refund will ever be able to fix.

Another delay. Sunny. No bad weather. Plane is at gate

Looking back, I should've taken Frontier as an omen…read more This trip was for my aunt's birthday cruise aboard Norwegian Prima, and somehow the vacation started unraveling before I even made it to Orlando. I'll be transparent: I was late to my original flight. That part is true. It wasn't because I overslept or mismanaged my time, but because someone else's delay caused us to arrive later than planned. I'm not asking Frontier to ignore their policies or hold an airplane for me. What I am asking for is consistency. Instead, I got conflicting information from nearly every person I spoke with. The Frontier ticket counter told me one thing. The customer service phone agents told me something else. Another customer service representative contradicted the previous one. Then I'd finally make it back to the front of the line, only to be told something completely different again. At one point, I literally made the desk agent read every note from my previous phone conversations because somewhere between the call center and the airport counter, the message kept getting lost in translation. I wasn't even able to have the phone representative speak directly with the desk agent, so I became the middleman, bouncing back and forth between the counter and customer service like I was negotiating an international peace treaty instead of trying to catch a flight to Orlando. The most frustrating part involved checked baggage. We had an email stating one deadline. The airport staff cited another. We were told checked bags had to be there by a certain cutoff, despite us arriving within what we believed was the required window based on Frontier's own communication. By the time we reached the counter, we were simply told the window had already closed. Maybe that's the policy. Fine. But if that's the policy, then every Frontier employee should be explaining the same policy the same way. That wasn't happening. In the end, there were no exceptions. No flexibility. No meaningful attempt to help. Just a $261 one-way rebooking fee to move me from my original noon-ish departure to an evening flight around 7:30 p.m. So instead of starting my vacation, I got to spend most of the day sitting in Detroit Metro Airport. The irony? I paid for TSA PreCheck, and by the time all this unfolded, it didn't even matter. I breezed through security only to spend the next several hours sitting in the terminal wondering why I'd bothered paying for expedited screening in the first place. To make matters even more interesting, we later found out someone else in our travel group, traveling separately, also experienced issues with Frontier that delayed them until later in the day. Maybe it was bad luck. Maybe that's just how Frontier operates. Either way, it didn't inspire confidence. The actual flight itself was...fine. It got me to Orlando safely, and I'll gladly give credit where it's due. Once I was finally on the plane, there wasn't much to complain about. The problem wasn't the flying. The problem was everything required to get onto the airplane. Frontier seems to operate under the same à la carte philosophy as Norwegian Cruise Line: charge separately for everything while making the rules feel like they're changing depending on which employee you ask. Policies are policies. I understand that. But inconsistent communication is not a policy, it's a customer service failure. If you're going to tell customers "no," at least have everyone telling them the same "no." Unfortunately, because this was a round-trip ticket, I still have to fly Frontier home unless I want to eat the cost and book another airline. But once this trip is over, I can confidently say this: If Frontier is my only option in the future, it had better be because every other airline has disappeared from the departure board. Otherwise, I'll happily pay more to avoid repeating this experience. By the time I finally landed in Orlando, I thought the hard part of my vacation was behind me. Little did I know, Frontier was just the opening act. Norwegian, Lyft, and Local Rides were waiting to headline the rest of the week. As I'm writing this review, I literally just checked in for my return flight and paid to upgrade my seat. Why? Because after this week, I'm going to be comfortable going home after all this bullsh!t. Frontier already got another few dollars out of me, but at least this time I know exactly what I'm paying for. If the seat reclines and lands in Detroit, it'll probably end up being the best value purchase of my entire vacation.

Then, it was US Airways flying across the country, again from Phoenix, and I was getting upgraded regularly. Now, it's American Airlines that I frequent, along with past America West Airlines and US Airways patrons. I find that, as with any other airline, customer service is often better than not, but there are always a few hiccups. With American Airlines, you can get someone on the phone, on a chat, on social media, or in person to assist, and with some respect on our part, we can often get what we need. I rarely have luggage issues, though there was one time when my bag was damaged, and American Airlines gave me a replacement while they repaired my original. I regularly fly in and out of the American Airlines gates at Phoenix Sky Harbor and frequent hubs like Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, Philadelphia, and Charlotte. I even make it out to Orlando on occasion, having visited at least every few years for a conference or an occasional Disney World vacation. Often, my travels require a connecting flight, and my flights are, more often than not, on time and without delays in departure or arrival. With status, an American Airlines credit card, and membership in CLEAR and Global Entry, I do not pay for luggage, receive priority luggage handling, board early, speed through security, sometimes receive upgrades, and access lounges. Traveling has become more of a hobby and a habit, and with American Airlines as my go-to airline, I accumulate miles quickly while also earning status and Loyalty Point rewards. I have two travel premium credit cards: the AAdvantage Executive Mastercard, which offers complimentary Admirals Club access, and the American Express Platinum card, which offers lounge access, travel credits, and complimentary CLEAR and Global Entry memberships. With these two credit cards, I can access the Admiral's Club at Orlando International Airport or The Club at MCO. I may even be able to visit the Plaza Premium Lounge, though I've never checked. Also, through T-Mobile, I received free Wi-Fi on American Airlines flights (though now it is free for anyone with an AAdvantage account). Through my American Airlines AAdvantage status, I get upgrades or free paid snacks and drinks on flights, along with other benefits. To retain status each year, you need to earn Loyalty Point through flying, credit card spending, and promotions. You can also earn Loyalty point rewards after hitting 175,000 points, 250,000 points, and so on. While it is difficult to receive upgrades due to the large number of people at the Executive Platinum status tier, the benefits I do receive are worthwhile. I have also experienced technical issues on flights, but not enough to cause me to abandon American Airlines, especially when every other airline faces the same challenges. All in all, American Airlines is a great company and does as well, if not better than, any of the other major airlines.

Before this trip, we'd always stayed at Polynesian and Grand Floridian. They are both Deluxe resorts, and they share with Contemporary, and all of those resorts are right next to each other, so it didn't really bother me. But this time we were at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and we stopped at Art of Animation and Pop Century before getting to AKL. I just think the Deluxe resorts are so much more expensive that they could get their own busses. In any case, I landed at the airport at 3:45, was on a bus by 4:15, and on resort at 5:07. I don't think it's worth the cost of an Uber to get there like a half hour faster, but that's up to you. One thing that's great about Disney is that you don't need to worry about transportation at all once you get there, and I really appreciate that. And if you check bags, you don't even need to get those, and they'll deliver them right to your room. I had a very early flight home though, and they picked me up excessively early. I got picked up at 5:30am for an 8:30am flight. I didn't have luggage, but if I did I could have checked it at the resort, so no one needs to be at the airport that early. I sat around for a good 2 hours before my flight. That might have been worth taking an Uber just so I could sleep another hour. Navigating their website and app was a bit confusing so the day we flew out, we had to update his KTN with the check-in agent. This is costly too. Never again! I will have to fly out a 2 days in advance next times just to be safe because this is crazyyyyy! I'm so late! Thank god I called my job and told them I'm delayed!! They said get here as soon as you can.
