Taco Tuesday and weenie Wednesday, two of the reasons my wife and I have been at Jethro's in the last month. My advice to you is to have a plan. Before you get there, decide how many tacos you want to eat. There will be temptation, stick to your guns. The quick and efficient service may tempt you into an extra taco, resist. Develop the plan, work the plan, stay on the plan. The same goes for weenie Wednesday. The waitress explained it to us once. The owner secures Casper brand hot dogs, bring them over the hill weekly, and the hot dog is designed to snap when you bite into it. I'm convinced this is a covert plan to get you to change your plan. I wish you the best of luck here. The weenie Wednesday menu reflects a variety of flavors that will tempt you into deviating from the plan. I've never heard of a Reuben dog, or a Caesar dog. When I grew up, I had mustard dogs. These dogs are way beyond that and the venue tempts you to try new versions of different hot dogs. One of my excuses the last time I had weenie Wednesday was that " sauerkraut is good for my gut biome." So on taco Tuesday and weenie Wednesday, you could be tempted into a second round. That's not a good thing. The service has been fun, the environment, friendly, and welcoming, people laughing throughout the room, enjoying their food. Makes it a great experience. Just a word of advice " Change the oil in your fryers!" Twice my husband and I have been there to eat and he orders the fish and chips. The first time the waitress noticed he barely ate his dish and he explained that the coating on the fish and chips were too dark and not golden. Fish inside was not cooked all the way. She understood and she gave him a free drink chip. This time we came for lunch he ordered the fish and chips and again the oil is too dark. I ended up giving him half of my pulled pork sandwich, which was really good. But I have to admit my fries weren't that good because the oil needs to be changed! read more

Food is always good with an exceptional menu, the service is usually pretty good with a few exceptions here and there, sometimes the waitress's get to visiting with regular's and either leave you sitting and waiting on them or you're order gets missed up by them. This has only happened a few times so since the food is always good I over look the service issues when they occur. read more

We have been patronizing Jetho's for 26 years.. Today I never felt so cheated.. Not by the food or the Prices.. Not by the 3 percent charge for using a debit card.. If you're into Mexican food it's fine. Standard dishes. American food dishes are substandard. Smoked meats are dry and over cooked , hamburgers are burnt most often regardless of how ordered. Absolutely loved the atmosphere here, it's got a great energy and feels homey. they have an arcade, bar, and solid classic americana food as well as mexican options. classic sports bar vibes and the staff care a ton and are super on top of it. What an uplifting experience! Our waitress was incredibly warm and welcoming. My husband savored their burger and I delighted in their tacos, both of which were truly delectable. I enjoyed a Blue Moon on draft that was refreshingly cold and our appetizer was their mouthwatering mushrooms. The entire establishment was immaculate, including the restroom, but what truly shone was the exceptional cuisine! We were having some mechanical work done, and informed the waitress that we may be there for a while, and she was amazingly supportive, graciously answering our queries about the area and our specific needs. Been a while since I ate at Jethro's speed of service was fantastic. The Internet of the service was amazing. Ruben was on and the hand cut french fries was a nice touch. I would definitely go back just for the sandwich. The only reason they got a four instead of a five would be the cleanliness of the facility. I walked i to Jethro's one Thursday, looking forward to their fish and chip special. It wasn't particularly busy. I took a seat in the bar area. No one was at the hostess stand. I am so sad to leave a negative review on here being that I've been going to Jethro's for years. I went in with my family of 8 to celebrate my daughter's graduation. I was extremely confused with our total bill. It appeared as if our server had charged double the tip for our table. Now, it wasn't about the money, I would have gladly payed the amount if the server would have explained to me my confusion nicely. Instead, she talked to me like I was stupid and was very disrespectful. I asked to speak to her manger shortly after her behavior. The servers manager approached me and stated that she heard everything and was sure her server was not rude. She then stated, "so what you don't want to tip." Again, my issue was the way the server went about explaining my confusion. At that point I didn't say anything and just paid my bill. First of all I love everything about Jethros! Their food (normally), the service and atmosphere!! But today January 7, 2024 at 1:00 I called in for a Hoagie sandwich with turkey, cheddar and provolone cheese and bun only!! I specifically told the young lady just meat cheese and bun/roll!! When I got my sandwich home it was covered in onions, lettuce, tomatoes and the cheese was shredded cheese!! We adapted and the young lady said she would try to give me a refund, I just asked for someone to find out who screwed this up!! We've come here off an on and always have a great experience. There hasn't been anything we've tried that wasn't good. Today's choice was Fish n Chips and the 2/3 lb Jethro's burger. The Fish was flaky and the outside was nice and crunchy...after all no one likes soggy fried fish. It wasn't greasy. Kuddos. The fries were also cooked perfect. The coleslaw, well that was lacking, Kinda of boring. It just tasted like cabbage and mayo. But, hey everyone likes their slaw different ways and it won't take away from my 5 stars. The Jethro's burger was great as always. The staff were very friendly,as they always are. Thank you Jethro's for providing curbside, for always having a smile and providing excellent service, especially during a stressful time. Well here I am again. I'm actually embarrassed. I said I wouldn't eat here again and now look at me. I caved and agreed to Jethro's because Grill next door (it's literally right next door) wasn't open. We were all so hungry and there is really nothing much else to choose from around here so here goes. Couldn't contain the craving for a burger and French fries so that's what I ordered for myself and my husband to share. My son ordered the steak sandwich, the nightly special. A pepperoni pizza for the kiddos. Turns out, my son ordered his steak sandwich medium rare and he also ordered our burger medium rare. I prefer my burgers medium but I certainly don't want to eat it RAW! That can't be medium rare, it's completely raw inside. My husband likes medium rare and he couldn't eat it either. Right into the garbage it went, along with the fries that were ordered "extra crispy ". My son is a beef freak, constantly cooking meat on his rec tec. He said it was really poor quality and full of fat and gristle. I tried a bite of the steak sandwich, bit right into a chunk of fat. Whatever. Apparently the kiddos liked their pepperoni pizza. So here's the clincher. Our stomachs are bubbling and gurgling as I type. I'm serious. This is not good. This just isn't good at all. This place has been a ranchos staple for many years, and my family and I have been coming here since the early 2000's. I have always loved it here, and anytime I came home to visit, I always brought friends. Buuutt... I was just there a few days ago, and it was atrocious in just about every way.. The bartender/server was extremely rude and careless. She was more interested in talking with a customer about how drunk she got the other night. I ordered the ribeye special medium rare. When I got it, I cut off about a third of the steak, and it was blue. Rarer than rare. I asked to have it thrown back on the grill a bit, and was met with ATTITUDE. When she brought it back, the 1/3 of my steak was gone! I had to literally argue with her to get the steak I PAID FOR brought back to me. The rice that came with it, was barely cooked. When I bit down on it, my teeth hurt. The veggie side was cooked to complete mush. All for $25. YIKES !! And to top it all off, my boyfriend got a sandwich and fries, and he found a tag at the bottom of his French fries grease pile. Guess we need to find a new spot to take friends and family. We,like apparently EVERYONE else in the Ranchos, decide to grab dinner at Jethro's last night after our local small town Parade of Lights downtown. They were absolutely slammed, even had a small wait for a table We realized quickly that our table of six, with 3 kids,would be on for a wait. Dustin and his crew took great care, we all got drinks and the kids got crayons etc right away. The food was really good but we went there to watch the Raider game which was on a couple of screens. However the main screen and the sound was on for a Bronco game. How can that be? We are in NV shouldn't the Raiders be the priority? Even when I asked for them to change it to the Raiders I was told that wouldn't happen. I got the wings off the happy hour menu and they were solid. I saw some other food being delivered (Burgers/Ribs) and it looked really good. But I had a late lunch and wasn't that hungry. We have been to going to Jethro's for years and always enjoyed their food. Last night my wife had a bacon burger. The bun was hard around the edges and the meat was very well done. I had the Jethro burger. I ordered it medium rare but it was also very well done and so small it didn't even fill up the bun. The French fries were broken up into small pieces less than a inch long. We were driving through and came upon this oasis in the middle of a mini mall ( thanks prior Yelpers for your guidance)! When I saw the smoker in the lot I knew we're likely on the right track.
