This is an update. Today, the Jets pizza store smells bad. All of the tables are dirty. I grabbed a chair to sit and wait for my order - the chair is sticky. I hope the pizza is ok. I ordered one delivered a few days ago, and it arrived room temperature after an hour. Even though we gave very detailed directions (they were easy directions - 2 turns) we had to go to the driver to get the order. So, this time I chose to forgo delivery to make it easier still. So I have updated from 5 stars to 3 stars. I am beginning to become a non-fan of this place. I may stop using this location and use the one on Virginia Ave. If it's still there. Or, use another pizza place if I feel the desire for a pie. We'll see. read more

Haven't been to Jet's in a good while, but needed quick and easy eats. Had a 50% off code for online order, but didn't seem to work. Called Jet's to see if my order went through. It hadn't. I see more than one Jet's Pizza around town but that does not break my rule of never ordering pizza from major chains since it is a local only franchise. I shopped several Lexington pizza places via Yelp and looked through their menus before choosing Jet's. So many places do not have beef (hamburger) toppings but Jet's DOES. I ordered my usual favorite of double ground beef, green bell pepper and onions on a thin crust. I was pleasantly surprised to see the top of the pie covered in toppings as opposed to a sparse sprinkling by most major chains. The sauce was great and not spicy, like some insist on and the crust was well cooked and thin like I prefer. Ordering online (their website, not their app) was much easier than the major chains as well. Payment was easy. And I liked how they have the packets of grated cheese and red peppers available for you to take without having to ask for them. read more

Pizza is pretty good, but Saron Drive store has proven to be consistently incompetent. November, they gave me someone else's pizza order, which can happen. Very next order, they charged my card twice for the same order. Like I said, the pizza is pretty good, but this store is not worth the frustration they have created a pattern of causing. read more

We ordered the Detroit 8 corner with pepperoni on the super special on gluten free. It's not wonder why the 8 corner is the specialty! The crust has a nice crunch on the outside and a short, chewy texture inside. The super special came loaded with toppings, perhaps better suited for a more traditional crust. The gluten free crust was okay, pretty middle of the road and the toppings, while many of them, lacked much flavor. The pizzas are also quite expensive and would make it difficult to frequent them often when trying to feed a family. read more

We had the dame pizza at this location, Jets 10 n it was fantastic. We ordered it again recently n was a big disappointment. Toppings were skimpy (incl cheese n tomato sauce)and the pizza was over cooked. We didn't realize that until we brought it home n discovered it. read more

Used to go to Richmond Road. Changed my route home and go home towards the Saron drive store. My wife liked the veggie jetzee until corporate changed the bread. The all time favorite is the jet 10 with turbo crust. My favorite ever pizza. They offered a deal where if you text in your order you get 20% off. Could get a large for around 16 bucks feeds two with some the next day for lunch. Oh man, tried the New Mexican style pizza. It was awesome. Also did the Greek salad, they forgot the dressing.. but the beets were good. read more

Having eaten enough delivery food to ... well never mind... suffice it say, since March, hubby and I have done more than our fair share of delivery dinners. And so, I feel extremely qualified to give shoutouts to some of the best on the long list of eateries we've tried or tried again, this summer. Despite the stressful situation of the Covid 19 virus and the many challenges and changes that this has placed on our restaurant industry... these places from which we ordered have stood out in a positive way and have provided delicious, quality, affordable dinners for two couch potatoes staying in because of the virus. So without further ado, shoutout to Jet's Pizza on Saron Drive in Lexington. . Jet's offers SO MANY choices for great pizza that your only problem will be figuring out which one you want tonight. Our personal standing order is a thin crust veggie pizza without the green peppers and add pepperoni! Oh even now, I can think of that crispy light crust and that delicious unique sauce and well, I could almost eat one every day! But I won't. Well, I might. Lol. And of course... order the brownie for Pete's sake. Gotta have the brownie! We order both of those so often that they honestly should just name that order combo after me! Truly, they should. My pizza was ok. But $8.50 for a iceburg bowl of lettuce that was old and red at bottom of leaves. It was supposed to have olives, peppercinis and beets but there was only a couple of them the salad. The dressing was terrible very very sour. read more

While I prefer their deep dish, this place makes some tasty pizza of any kind. I particularly enjoy their Buffalo Chicken Pizza, featuring buffalo seasoned chicken, their delicious ranch, onions, and BACON. Whoever thought to put bacon on an already great pizza deserves a medal of doctorate in flavor. In one word, simply put, "Nom." Their salads and "boats" (i.e. calzones) are pretty fantastic too. I've had consistently good luck with this location in the past. On one occasion, I ordered a specialty pizza with one change. Upon pickup, they realized they had made it incorrectly. I had to wait a little longer, but they went ahead and gave me both pizzas for my trouble. That's just good service. read more

Tried to order on their app. Went to checkout, put all my payment information in and hit the prompt to proceed. It buffered for a few seconds like it processing. It then said there was an error. I checked my bank and the payment had already processed. When I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager he said they didn't have an order and that they could not make anything without a payment. I said you have the payment, it's the actual food order you don't have. He just said I would have to pay a second time if I wanted them to make my order And just wait for the first transaction to be returned by my bank. There is a huge problem with the way their app functions and they expect they customer to suffer for it. I deleted the app and Jets from my ordering contacts. Extremely poor app and even worse customer service. read more

We love this place. The Detroit style pizza with crispy side crust is so good. Their specialty pizzas are usually pretty good too. We have always done takeout and pizza is always ready when they promise it. We are now regulars. read more

Stopped in for a take out order. We had previously had delivery and a hand tossed pizza. I wasn't really crazy about it. Not the worse not the best. We ordered the deep dish and jets bread this time. I'm glad we tried the deep dish. It was really good. Buttery just enough crisp on the crust. The jets bread is awesome!!! Thick and cheesy with I honk a Parmesan cheese on it. When I returned Cory saw me coming and went to grab my order and realized it hadn't been made. We just got the worst pizzas from Jet's on Saron Drive. The crust was so overbaked and so hard that it was difficult to chew. The topping were very sparse. Seriously, with 7 pizza places within 2 miles of us, you would think they would be on their toes. Management might want to pay attention, even on Sunday night. Might as well get Little Ceasars for $5 - we spent $35 getting 2 pizzas & salad - never again! read more

This place has great service, and great products. I don't even want to say pizza, because everything on the menu, they have perfected. Jet's Pizza is some of the best pizza ever, but sadly we don't have any locations here in West Virginia. (You guys should really fix that! :D) My favorite crust, by far, is the deep dish crust. Crispy and buttery, without being greasy. A far cry from the more "traditional" deep dish that has soggy/mushy crusts. Or you're not much for pizza, try one of their salads. They're equally delicious. Their antipasto is one of my favorites! A bonus for this location is... seating! Not all of their locations have it, but this one does, and it was a great little place for lunch! read more

This is our favorite pizza delivery place so far in town. Definitely get the turbo crust with the deep dish, it is excellent. We have tried a wide variety of the pizzas and they are all good. They did mess up our order once but were very accommodating and gave us a free pizza on out next order. Highly recommend trying them out. read more

Ordered pizza at 11:45 for lunch delivery - was told it might take an hour - they were wrong, almost took two hours. Received pizza at 1:55. I don't really have any complaints about this place to be honest. It's 100 times better than Pizza Hut, Domino's, and Papa John's. My favorite is their bread sticks. Simply out of this world! read more

I ordered a pizza tonight and got a side of ranch dip for my crust. When the driver got there I double checked to make sure that I got my ranch and they had forgotten it. I told him it was no big deal but if for any reason he was back in the neighborhood and could drop it off, I would greatly appreciate it. Sure enough, 20 minutes later, a new delivery guy came, Travis, and told me that he was making a stop in our neighborhood and brought me my ranch dip. It's rare to hear about such good communication between coworkers and great customer service like this. Keep up the great work Jets! read more

My husband has been ordering regularly from this location for three years. Twice in the last few months his crust has been burnt. On 7/14/16 he gave Jets a "last chance" to create his favorite deep dish. We live in an adjoining county and he didn't open the box until he got home. The veggies and cheese were burned beyond what his palate could tolerate and he trashed the portion on his plate. Admittedly he is a little picky, but I agree it was very poor quality. We stopped by the next day with the remaining 3/4 pizza expecting to get our money back but were told their policy is to only give store credit unless it's returned the same day. The manager was polite. DH will be trying the Little Caesars deep dish, which is close by and has excellent reviews. read more

I ordered online. We tried from a phone and the site didn't work properly. We ordered on an iPad and got the order placed. The estimated delivery time was 45 minutes. At 63 minutes I called to ask where the pizza was. I was told "it's on the way." It arrived 70 minutes after it was ordered. That's over one and a half times as long as we were quoted. It was not hot when it arrived. This was my first and last order from them. It's a pity too because it probably would have been a great pizza if it has A) arrived on time and B) was hot as opposed to Luke-warm. read more
