Double beef, green peppers, and onions on a thin crust.
    Richard Walton C.

I see more than one Jet's Pizza around town but that does not break my rule of never ordering pizza from major chains since it is a local only franchise. I shopped several Lexington pizza places via Yelp and looked through their menus before choosing Jet's. So many places do not have beef (hamburger) toppings but Jet's DOES. I ordered my usual favorite of double ground beef, green bell pepper and onions on a thin crust. I was pleasantly surprised to see the top of the pie covered in toppings as opposed to a sparse sprinkling by most major chains. The sauce was great and not spicy, like some insist on and the crust was well cooked and thin like I prefer. Ordering online (their website, not their app) was much easier than the major chains as well. Payment was easy. And I liked how they have the packets of grated cheese and red peppers available for you to take without having to ask for them.

Super special with gluten free crust
    Ashley M.

We ordered the Detroit 8 corner with pepperoni on the super special on gluten free. It's not wonder why the 8 corner is the specialty! The crust has a nice crunch on the outside and a short, chewy texture inside. The super special came loaded with toppings, perhaps better suited for a more traditional crust. The gluten free crust was okay, pretty middle of the road and the toppings, while many of them, lacked much flavor. The pizzas are also quite expensive and would make it difficult to frequent them often when trying to feed a family.

    Jet 10 with turbo crust

Used to go to Richmond Road. Changed my route home and go home towards the Saron drive store. My wife liked the veggie jetzee until corporate changed the bread. The all time favorite is the jet 10 with turbo crust. My favorite ever pizza. They offered a deal where if you text in your order you get 20% off. Could get a large for around 16 bucks feeds two with some the next day for lunch. Oh man, tried the New Mexican style pizza. It was awesome. Also did the Greek salad, they forgot the dressing.. but the beets were good.

Their BLT pizza used to be awesome. Now they don't put enough lettuce, tomatoes, or mayo on it.

Unfortunately the pizzas are habit forming. Haven't gotten a bad or mediocre one yet. Courteous staff, clean restaurant.

Love Jet's pizza. Jet 10 with turbo crust is amazing. I usually carry out and service is prompt. This is my favorite pizza in Lexington.

I tried a…read morecouple of their individual slices, the seasonal meat pizza with corn, poblano, country ham, and blueberry relish, plus a classic pepperoni slice, and their breadstick. Every single bite was incredible. I love that they use a sourdough dough. The crust was so flavorful and perfectly chewy with an amazing crispy bottom. The breadstick was absolutely to die for, especially with the garlic butter. This is hands down the best Detroit style pizza I've had. You can tell how much creativity and care goes into everything they make. The owner is incredibly talented, and this place deserves so much more recognition. They also have a cozy indoor and outdoor seating area and a few free parking spots on the side, which makes visiting even easier. If you love pizza, you need to give Rise Up Pizza a try!

They didn't have a big variety on their menu but they only had 1 person working. I went with the pepperoni slice with a breadstick. I was surprised how cheap it was. My total only came out to be $6.00. The food was goo. The crust was thick and there were a lot of pepperonis on it. It was disappointed in the lack of cheese on the pizza. It was practically nonexistent. There was some sprinkled parmesan and that's about it. Luckily there were a lot of seasonings on the pizza so it wasn't a deal breaker. Overall my friend and I enjoyed the food and will be happy to try Rise Up again

Started with an old-fashioned and an unsweet tea. Drink was good overall. We shared a Caesar salad to start. Half of the lettuce pieces were brown. Lettuce was yellowed more than green. Meh. I ordered the rigatoni with spicy marinara, meatball and sausage. The portion was insanely large - two sausages and two meatball, plus a platter of pasta. This was good - but again too much. Meatballs were good, sausage was good. For dessert I ordered the chocolate mousse which was okay. Located in an old bank building the place was nice with live music - though the guy walking around playing the sax was a little much.

It was everything you would expect a nice dining experience. The menu was extensive with lots of modern takes on Italian favorites. There is a good wine list with sufficient number of options for any wine taste and also a specialty cocktail list. We started out with fried calamari and a specialty caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and a variety of meats and olives. They were all delicious and fresh. For dinner I had the Fagottini Sinatra which was to die for. The combination of the pasta, cheeses, apple bites, and cream sauce enhanced all the flavors and produced a combination which I would HIGHLY recommend. Note that the prices are $30-$50 a meal but you get what you would expect from a nice restaurant. I will definitely be back on a future visit to Lexington.
