The pizza hit the spot per usual! The ranch is great, the wait time was 1.5 hours and it came 25 minutes later than that. I had to pop it in the oven to warm it up and it was delicious. Definitely filling, greasy, and heavy but i knew that going in and it hit. Again love the ranch! Yes, we have a lot of pizza options on the eastside. But we just took advantage of the menu that was mailed to us, it included a free 1 topping deep dish with a $10 purchase. We did pick-up and the pizza was ready on time and hot when it got home. They offer deep dish, thin, hand tossed and Ny style in various options. You also have several options for crust flavor, I went with garlic on the veggie. My boyfriend really liked the deep dish pepperoni (he hates Toppers and thought it was better) but I only tried the veggie. It's pretty good, not sure yet what I think about the sauce. It didn't stand out. The pizza had canned mushrooms which I generally don't like but it was good overall. Crust was tasty and crispy. Not from the area. This was the only pizza place with semi decent reviews that I could find (that was also open). They made and delivered a deep dish pizza in 30 minutes. That didn't seem right to begin with. I would categorize it as a Little Caesars of deep dish. It's a bit expensive for fast food, imo, but that's essentially what it is. This is Detroit style pizza though they have other choices, so if that's what you're craving this might be your best choice. My Chief of Staff is from Michigan and lived for a while in Novi which gave her a taste for this but I grew up in Chicago so frankly, I know better. There's actually a pretty good Detroit pizza at Meijer's which doesn't have the ingredients choices you get at Jet's but is otherwise pretty comparable in taste and authenticity. One thing Jet's should have going for it is has an anchovies option, once a Don Rickles punchline (see episode 101 of the Dick Van Dyke Show) I still find myself exclaiming "What, no anchovies?" at most pizza joints. Well although Jet's does have anchovies on their menu, in the 6 times I've ordered from them, they've made an error on my order 5 times (the heart wants what the heart wants. The Chief of Staff wants Detroit Style Pizza and I want anchovies). Four of those errors was a shortfall of anchovies. And I'm tired of trying to explain to the Chief of Staff who is 7 years younger who and what Don Rickles was. I'm sorry, I'm not sure how I ended up here so let me review. So we voted to give jets another shot after a few bad experiences in the recent past. This time restored our faith 80% of what it once was. I ordered over the phone instead of online. This way I was able to use a coupon we had received in a coupon mailer. The order was not completely accurate but the pizza was 85% of what we ordered. It was piping hot. The delivery driver was on time and pleasant. The pizza was delivered intact. We enjoyed it with our get together. It is delicious Detroit style, great quality toppings, a banging pizza tomato sauce that is tangy and unique, the crust is delicious, and the pizza was baked to perfection. I've honestly had luck with this location. I didn't know what Jets was until a friend said their deep dish is out of this world. I never had it delivered however I had it picked up 3x and this place deserves 5 Stars. I always felt Fast food pizza is blah but this one is fantastic. Yes I'm sure you're short staffed at times or they may not have answered the phone fast enough but this place doesn't deserve NO less than 4 stars. I've only had the deep dish keep in mind and it's the best in town and comparable to higher caliber restaurants in my opinion. The crust is thick and crunchy and full of flavor and they use quality ingredients. If you look for deals you can get a two for one small loaded pie. The kid that runs it is a hard worker.
