Great Detroit style pizza @ Jets. 2 slices for $6.74 including tax. Such a deal they have for you. If you've never had Jets give it a try. Jets is a very tasty Chewy Detroit style pizza. I know there are a lot of Chicago style pizza snobs but this pizza is actually very good and a change of pace. I know this isn't much to compare it to but it's far better than Pizza Hut or Dominos Pizza. You can't compare it to some of top Chicago Pizzas like Lou Malnati's or Pequods but dam if this isn't an excellent piece of pizza. FYI - Check in on Yelp and get your free piece of pizza

Goodness gracious, great balls of fire! This pizza is so darn good. I stopped in for a slice and was told they had it would be about a minute. Really? Well, it was less than a minute and it was piping hot. Needless to say, I really want another one however, I'm not hungry anymore. Staff was friendly.

I have been visiting this jets since they opened years ago. This is my first review of this chain pizza restaurant. This particular location and Skokie does not offer dine in ever it is simply a place to pick up and go. They also offer delivery which is very convenient. The online ordering and text ordering is very convenient as well and works out. The staff here as expected turns over and there are always new faces however they are cordial and civil. That is really all that I can ask for. I do love jets pizza when I have a taste for the extra bread and carbs but I especially love the butter garlic dip to go with their pizza. Whenever I order sausage I always order extra and they are very generous to Provide and it is well worth the cost.

This pizza is different than most in the area , the crust and sauce was really tasty , ordered the four corner half sausage and half pepperoni , it was very good , will definitely order from here again

Needed a snack while I was doing work at Starbucks and wasn't really feeling their food options. Luckily, this Jet's is right next door! Got myself a slice of pepperoni pizza ($2 a slice, $2.25 w/tax). There wasn't one immediately available, and I waited 5 mins for it to be ready. It came out hot, fresh and crispy. Definitely hit the spot! I didn't find it that melty or cheesy, but maybe because it was just a slice and not a whole pie? It is Detroit-style pizza so if you don't like it ~thicc~ this isn't the 'za for you :) They have packets of parm cheese and red pepper flakes by the counter that you can grab if you need to amp up your pizza. You can also add flavor to your crust when you order--nice option for those who value customization. TIP: Text your order to 224-534-7151 to get a 20% discount! **limited time offer**

Same ol' Jets look. Same delicious jets pizza :) Staff here is nice so that's a plus. Pay attention looking for this place. It's tucked away behind a strip mall and easily missed if you're coming from the west.

I got ripped off for $30. I ordered a supreme pizza and this is what I got do not deal with them ever the manager will not help.

I ordered this pizza today a supreme thinking it was going to be a large and this is what I got for $30.04 slices. The manager does not work with you at all. Horrible customer service do not go there.

Do you provide curbside service? I have a disability which makes it difficult to exit car

Nope, all inside. If anything the cashier also makes the pizza and is never at the reception desk. Good luck even asking for curbside, they seem really busy

Pequod's Pizza is in my home town of Morton Grove, and I hadn't been there in over 50 years! I…read moreremembered the pizza as being exceptional, and had been talking about going back forever. It was a long standing joke between my husband and myself...could this pizza possibly live up to my expectations? And the answer is.... Yup! It is as good as I remembered it to be. The carmelized pan crust looks burnt (they even warn you on the menu that it's supposed to be black), but it's the best part of the pizza. The pizza/tomato sauce was extremely flavorful (not just plain tomatoes like Lou Malnatis or Rosatis). The sausage was delicious, and the onions were sweet. There was a ton of sausage, and lots of onions on the pizza--very generous portions. The mozzarella cheese appetizer was served very hot, and was pretty good. Basically...your typical frozen moz sticks. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. Service was very good. The only negative I can point out is there was an overwhelming mildewy smell when you approach and enter the restaurant. It was very off putting. Overall, this is the best pan pizza I've ever eaten, and as such, I highly recommend Pequod's.

It was a little frustrating, but I figured the walk would be good exercise before a big meal. The restaurant itself is small and has an older, cozy feel. The dining area is quite compact, so I wouldn't recommend it for large groups or parties. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We only saw our server three times: to take our order, deliver our food, and bring the check. In between, he was nowhere to be found. The lack of attentiveness and hospitality was disappointing. Thankfully, the deep dish pizza completely turned things around. The crust was crispy with a nice char, giving it excellent flavor and texture. The gooey cheese was evenly distributed throughout the pizza, and I appreciated that the sausage came in generous chunks instead of small crumbles. The tomato sauce was well balanced, neither too sweet nor too acidic which tied everything together beautifully. Despite the disappointing service, the pizza alone is worth coming back for. Next time, though, I'll probably order takeout. With service like this, leaving a tip didn't feel well deserved.

Lefty's has a very small dining room with limited seating (during the warmer months they offer al fresco dining) and a counter running along the main window for additional seating. In this instance seating and interior are secondary to the superb quality of the pizza. We started with a Sketchbook IPA and Peroni beer on draft. They were brought to the table in chilled glasses with a nice head of foam. The beers were presented in glasses with the beer names etched on each of the glasses. Outstanding presentation! For our entree we ordered a 16 inch thin crust pizza with sausage, green peppers, and mushrooms. When it came to the table it was hot and bursting with a sweet aroma and bouquet of colors. The pizza was topped with green, red, and yellow peppers, mushrooms, and chunks of fresh sausage. The sauce was sweet and plentiful and was amply covered with generous portions of melted mozzarella cheese. The pizza was hot and the blended flavors of the combined ingredients were superb. Finally, an establishment that values the quality of ingredients and consistently delivers. Lefty's is one of the very best thin crust pizza's on the north shore. We ordered cheese curds and a medium sized pizza. For toppings, we chose sausage, mushrooms, and fresh garlic. This is not deep dish pizza, I would say it's more of a pan style. It's not heavy like at Gino's East or Giordano's. It has that famous caramelized crust and that airy dough. The toppings were super fresh. We immediately tasted the garlic. Burt's own special blend of the sausage tasted homemade. If you dine in, they cut it for you. If you take it home, you should already have a pizza cutter in your kitchen.
