Detroit style pizza is delicious. I ordered their All Meaty special thin-crust with "Turbo crust." The pizza was cut into squares and crust was very thin. I enjoyed the crunchy and crispiness of their crust. "Turbo crust" adds garlic and Romano cheese. It seemed to have less cheese and tomato sauce which reminded me of pizza in Italy. I ordered 2 pizzas from here at 6:40pm. Grubhub stated that the food would be delivered between 7:27-7:37. At 7:45 we called the restaurant. They said they only had one delivery driver and WERE STILL MAKING OUR ORDER 10 minutes AFTER it was already supposed to be delivered. They gave us an updated delivery time for 8:25. It is now 8:45 and we had to call and cancel the order (grubhub also wouldnt refund us without doing so). So my family is sitting here, more than 2 hours after ordering 2 basic pizzas, and we still have no dinner. It's close to 9pm and delivery places stop delivering. This mess up is unacceptable and ridiculous at the same time. read more

Jet's is my new go to for inexpensive to-go pizza. Their Detroit deep dish style positively differentiates itself from other pizza chains like Dominos, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut. Add turbo crust to your order and you end up with a crispy, crunchy, cheesy and garlicky crust. What's not to love? They offer some pretty good deals (and you can even get individual slices!) and you can usually get a 2 4-corners pizza (8 slices) for around $10. My only wish is that they were a little bit closer, but we can't fault them on that. read more

Do not use the option to text your order. I submitted my order at 4:18 with a confirmation of 20 minutes. When I arrived the worker couldn't find my order through my confirmation number. Not under my name and finally found my order by using my phone number. The worker at the register then looked for my order. It appeared that he couldn't find my order. He told me he wasn't sure how much longer it would be. He said it was in the oven. I stood back to wait. Pizzas were brought to the counter and they called out some names and those lucky people got their pizza and left! I stood there waiting and waiting. There were a lot of customers coming and going. My pizza was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes, 4:40. When I finally was able to get to the counter to ask about my pizza, 35 minutes later!!!! The girl at the counter looked in the warmer where my pizza had been placed who know when. I stood there for 35 minutes. Then the girl said to me I'm sorry they didn't pull the ticket! Obviously not the answer I was looking for! The worst service I have ever had! Maybe think about going someplace else when they know what they're doing!!! I finally was able to leave at 5:15pm! Confession... I am originally from the Detroit area and I grew up on Jet's Pizza (HQ in Sterling Heights, MI). To me there is just nothing like their deep dish pizza. Sure, I enjoy Chicago style deep dish every once in a while, but Jet's is a more pan style deep dish. Think Pizza Hut only better. A few months ago I drove by and discovered that Jet's had made their way to the Chicago area. So awesome! Jet's is one of the very few pizza places my wife likes. She is lactose intolerant, but their "make your own pizza" option offers a no cheese option. This is the primary reason we frequent this specific pizza place. Otherwise, there are many other great options out there. I would give it more than three stars if it wasn't for their mistakes. Most of the time, when it isn't busy, everything comes together fine. When it gets busy, sometimes they don't read the ticket properly, and we have to ask that they remake it. Yesterday, Jan 1st, 2022, they messed up her order, and messed it up a second time. They said they will get it right the third time, but I just took their second error because at least it didn't have cheese. Also, make sure to always do local pickup. Their delivery service is really hit and miss to the point that we didn't want to take any chances at all. Overall, if you choose their most basic options, and you pick up your order, you'll be fine. If you do any "make your own pizza" options, or you get delivery, realize you're rolling the dice. read more

I always get exceptional service at Jet's. The best pizza curbside pickup near me. Only flaw is I live in another town over and they don't deliver to me. Pizza is always fresh, tasty, fast. I usually order Monday when they have Jet's Best $10 Detroit style pizza. I'm usually a thin crust gal growing up in NJ/NY area but I'll take Detroit style pizza over deep dish any day. I ordered pizza from here, upon recommendation for my sister. we had the usual order Large cheese and another one with toppings (Green pepper mushrooms black olives) they said they were most famous for their deep dish but I was not ready to try that especially for delivery I like my deep dish served hot on a plate dining in. The best thing about Jet's pizza is the crust. It's perfectly caramelized; golden and crispy on the outside, thick and chewy on the inside. The next best thing about Jet's is the unique specialty pizzas they serve. Two of my favorites are Buffalo Chicken and Aloha BBQ Chicken. My least favorite thing about Jet's is its traditional tomato pizza sauce. If I want a real traditional pizza, I'm probably going to pay a little extra to go to one of the big-name Chicago style pizza places. But Jet's is a significant step up from national pizza chains, it's reasonably priced, and it offers something really tasty you can't get anywhere else that I know of. read more

Jets pizza is very very interesting. It was quite surprising to me when I looked at their menu and saw like 10 different options for crusts. Personally I love me a spicy veggie pizza. I love giardiniera and saw a cajun crust option. So I thought this crust would have a cajun flavor and be spicy. Instead it turned out to be spicy and salty. Not just a little salty but enough to turn my mouth into a desert. However the crust does not make up all of the pizza experience at jets. They do have a deep dish option and it is pretty cheap. To get a medium or a large pizza is additionally not very expensive at all, given the size they indicated. What I did find a little bit funky about this is that the pizzas are rectangular. Not those "family sized" tiny slices but significantly bigger. I don't think that the average person would probably have more than 2 or 3 squares. So basically avoid the cajun crust and go with the deep dish for stuffed or whatever they call it and I think you will be able to get a decent pizza for the money. It was a little bit greasy but the cover they put under the pizza take care of any worries about grease. read more

My cousin kept telling me to try it cause he loves it. He said go all out and definitely try their "turbo crust". The details: So it's chain pizza right. Two styles of pie, hand tossed or the ever popular deep dish pan which is square. You can opt to flavorize the crust which comes in eight different styles. Also offers Jet's bread which is a thick cut breadstick with a number of toppings making them not your average bread stick. So, as he recommended I went all out. I got a small Jet 10 ( it's like a supreme with everything on it, 10 different toppings.) and I flavored the crust in turbo. The first slice had a nice crunch when biting into the slice on it's crust side. There could have been more sauce and I wasn't a fan immediately following. The toppings must come out of a bag because they looked freeze dried and were tiny. Onions, peppers, olives and even the meats had the life drained out of it and were cut into tiny pieces. They were like toppings you find in a crappy salad bar where trips are only $1.99. The flavored crust killed it in a negative way. They went overboard and sprinkled that shit all over the pie. Maybe it's me, I've been eating super healthy lately and I couldn't handle it. For the remainder I got a wet paper towel and tried to soak up the butter and wipe off the Romano bits. Had I written my review right after having that pie, 2 stars and I would have never looked back. A couple weeks go by, I was in the area and there was a special going on so I tried again. This time my way. Veggie small, square with extra sauce and no stupid flavoring. It was pretty good except the toppings again. It's strange how tiny they are. They are obviously not cutting their own vegetables. But for what it is, it was pretty good. (The toppings on the Hawaiian style, seem to be cut normal size, you'll enjoy these toppings with jalapeno's a lot more) A small is perfect for two people. They also offer slices for I think $2 dollars each and come with one topping in a large square slice. Their lunch special of two slices and a drink is a lot of food, for me anyway. I'd say if you like Pequod's pan pizza, that thick doughy crust, you'll dig a slice from here. If we're talking delivery chain pizza, super flavored and overboard. I'd probably choose this before my usual favorite Papa John's but I certainly could not have it very often. It's that square style that's got my attention. It reminds me of fond childhood memories when Little Caesar's would offer it during special times. I would beg my Dad to buy one for us to enjoy. read more

It's chain pizza, straight away. If you've had little caesar's back in the day, then you've had jet's pizza. It tastes OK when it's hot, and tastes like ABSOLUTELY NOTHING the next day. So make sure you buy a smaller-than-you-need size, so you can scarf it down while it's piping hot. The sauce is overly sweet, the crust isn't cooked all that well (very VERY floppy), the pepperoni is decent and so is the cheese. It's better than pizza hut and domino's, but when those are your comparison points what are you REALLY saying? Any decent mom-n-pop pizza place should be able to run rings around Jets. They're the McDonalds of pizza -- you go there when you want safe, predictable, but otherwise not really all that good food. read more

I will never order from this place again. First impressions last a long time. We ordered a deep dish pizza veggie with sausage. Guess what? No Sausage. We called with receipt in hand hoping for them to make it right. Instead we got put on hold 4 times only to be told that they would credit us for 2 toppings for NEXT time. The pizza and service here is solid. This is the only place I've been that has an 8-Corner, Cajun crust, well-done pizza made to order for pickup in less than 20 minutes. My buddies ask almost every Friday night for Jet's by name, and they want it fast so I pick it up! Jet's Pizza recently just opened so my friend and I decided to stop by just to check it out. We ended up getting two pizza slices (one cheese and one pepperoni). Once we took our first bite, we knew this would probably be one of our go-to pizza joints. The sauce did not have that overly tomato/herb taste while the crust was soft, fluffy, and also really crispy. As far as pricing, it's a little bit more expensive considering we paid $5 for only 2 slices (I know you could get a whole pizza for $5 down the street, BUT it was totally worth it!) I went here for lunch. I found it on Yelp under "Hot New Businesses". I had the two slice special with a drink. I was there around 1 pm and they only had a limited number of slices to choose from. I had sausage and a cheese. The pizza was OK. It's chain restaurant pizza, but a little better than most chains. The crust was very crispy and buttery. The sausage was a little above average compared to other national chains. The sauce had a good flavor. It's good for a quick meal. You can't compare it to Mom & Pop pizza places in the Chicago area, but I don't think that's the customer they are going for. I went there expecting to sit down and eat. They don't have any tables, it's only take-out or delivery. It was a little noisy inside, because of the exhaust fans. That probably could be corrected with some pictures or other items placed on the bare walls. Being carry-out only this wasn't a huge deal. Would I go back? maybe if I was in the area. Having grown up in Michigan eating slices for lunch in high school and whenever I could get my hands on it when I got home...I couldn't be happier to know that there is a Jet's Pizza not too far from me now. It's hard to explain how good it is but I'll give it a whirl. The crust is unlike any other pizza - perfectly toasted and deep dish but not so deep and heavy.The toppings are fresh and plenty to choose from. And I'm a big fan of ranch dressing and pizza...Their ranch is the best for dipping. The Jet Bread is another staple when ordering...Don't forget that too. Theres a ton to choose from so do yourself a favor and try something new each time. Not to mention it's piping hot and you are greeted with a smile when you come in. I'm not to fond of deep dish pizza but here I love the deep dish pizza its so tasty! I like that they don't put to much sauce but more cheese and you can actually taste the pizza and not the dough like other places. It is however greasy so if your not into dripping cheese I would not recommend this place. Very quick service and pizza always taste fresh. Decided to give Jet's a shot. We usually order Giordano's thin crust but wanted to find a cheaper alternative. Verdict: just ok. I prefer pretty much every other place I've ever ordered from, well, except for Sarpino's. We ordered a hand-tossed with Italian Sausage and half green olives and half black olives and mushroom. The crust was perfectly round and generic, making me suspect it came straight out of the freezer rather than actually being hand tossed. On the plus side I didn't feel sick to my stomach like after eating Papa John's, but that's not good enough to get me to order from here again. read more

I decided to give Jet's a chance, despite my misgivings. I wish we could give half-stars, because 2-1/2 seems right. I'm feeling generous so I rounded up to 3. The pie is a far cry better than other franchise chain pizzas, but it doesn't even come close to the quality at any small Ma & Pa pizzeria, or even a mini chain like Lou Malnati. So it's OK. Not great, just OK. I had the round with mushrooms. The crust is crisp and light, not too thin and not too thick. It's too light, tho; another reviewer accurately described it as 'fluffy'. The sauce was a tad sweet and would have been helped by reducing the sugar and adding oregano and a touch of garlic. The shrooms came out of a can; nuff said there. The cheese topping seemed to be only mozzarella with a bland result; a sprinkle of parmesan over all would have been welcome. Bottom line: Jet's will never be my Go To Pizzeria, but they're conveniently located, the service is fast and the product is unexciting but OK. I might be back when I'm in a hurry and I need a fast meal. read more
