I was in town for a football game at the University of Michigan. Wanted to try some Detroit pizza while in or near Detroit so ordered here at jets pizza in Trenton. The lady at the counter was very nice and polite and the pizza was made and picked up on time. The pizza itself I would say is a five out of 10. It was just OK and didn't seem fresh as weird as that sounds. I live in Nebraska and there is a local food truck that has better Detroit style pizza than what I had here at jets. They were generous enough to offer to make a round pizza. I reiterated that I would like thin crust and well done. Brought it home to see a dry, almost inedible "wanna-be" pizza. Why the heck did I wait so long , ordered a large deep dish All Meaty well done pizza and it was perfectly cooked, ample sauce and cheese, crust was crunchy and tasty, and I was shocked of all the toppings on it. It was just delicious and hot. Husband arrived few minutes early and they were just slicing it. For $ 20.13 we had a quality, perfectly made, Detroit Style Deep Dish pizza, you earned top honors. We hadn't tried the Trenton Jet's since moving to Trenton, until yesterday. We are normally Happy's customers, but have been trying to spread the love around to local pizza joints. I had to leave a great post because our order was perfectly accurate, hot, and available about 30 seconds after we walked in to pick it up. The maker of the pizza must have used every diced green pepper in the shop and put it on top of my pizza!!! I never ordered heavy peppers or anything else. I've been ordering the Jets 10 for years. I haven't ordered for awhile, but I ordered this evening. Ugh! All the toppings except the pepperoni are chopped into tiny pieces. They put the cheese underneath the toppings so if you get a slice out or take a bite all the toppings fall off! Called at 8 pm to order a pizza, they don't close untill 10pm. Waited on hold for 27 minutes they picked up said nothing and hung up. I called back several times thinking it was a mistake on their end but each time they immediately answered, said nothing and hung up. If you are not taking orders 2 hours before you close this is not the way to inform customers. This has been a problem several times in the past. read more

This used to be my go to pizza joint but I can't deal with them anymore. They ALWAYS screw my order up and when I call about it, it's a whole process for them to just credit my account back and they're usually rude about it and never compensate. Today, NYE, they shorted me a pizza. I talked to manager, Sadie, who said I could come get it. I told her I wouldn't be able to get out and felt it appropriate they deliver it since this was their error. She then began yelling at me and having huge attitude. Used to love Jets pizza out of all the pizza chains, but not anymore. They have def changed their cheese to a cheaper nasty cheese. Gross!
