Not only is JETTA THAI close to our office, but this restaurant is part of a center that has its own free parking lot. But what's really going to make me come back is the food. Their PAPAYA SALAD has the right combination of sour, sweet and salty and was not spicy at all, as requested. The PORK LARB was a bit on the salty side but then it was needed coz of the veggies that it came with. The BEEF CURRY was a bi ton the sweet side and not really to my liking so I would probably skip this in future visits. Came her at around 2pm on a Sunday. It was empty and inside and out side seating was available! I got bottomless mimosas for 13.99 and she brought me out one bottle with orange juice. This place was so great! The friendly service by both the female workers was phenomenal! They were both so kind to us and ensured a great experience at this little hole in the wall. Honestly, the food here is above average for Thai and I still know of some other places where the taste is slightly better, but this location is perfect to take someone on a date. The blue walls, nice little booths, and just the overall ambience here is just simply perfect. I liked my pad kee mao dish, as well as the wings that we shared. My friend got a Panang Curry dish, and my other friend got something that I tried and was very tasty (I cannot remember the name of the dish). I like that they have Thai beer available too. Had a great lunch experience at Jetta Thai earlier today. We headed out from the office around 11:40 to try to beat the lunch rush. When we got to the restaurant, it was surprisingly empty (maybe because it was very gloomy out today?). I didn't mind being one of the few parties in the restaurant because that just meant that the staff could give us more attention. Our group of three was seated quickly. The restaurant was staffed by two waitresses in the front -- both were very friendly and quick to come to our table whenever we raised our hands :) As for the food, we really enjoyed the thai boat noodles as well as the pad thai. The boat noodle broth was very flavorful, but it's a little spicy so keep that in mind when you order. The pad thai was good -- especially the noodles -- but it was less savory in comparison. I was able to order Jetta Thai through Postmates and was pleased with how good it is! I'm excited that they've decided to bring their business to El Segundo because their food is wonderful. We tried: --Pad Kew Mow. This was really good! It was also very spicy. I don't do spice so that's where my spice level is coming from. My husband who does spicy didn't flinch at the spice. These are often called "drunken noodles". --Fried Rice. SOOOO GOOD. Light and just the right texture. It had tomatoes in it. Yum! --Chicken Teriyaki. The Kids loved this one. New place in town, lunch crew decided to give them a try, overall the food was pretty bland, no lunch specials make this a more expensive option compared to many of the restaurants in the downtown area. Staff was very nice and friendly, Had the Garlic Pepper chicken and it was just some chicken with garlic and pepper sprinkled over the top, there was a little bit of sauce but not enough to mix with the rice, came with broccoli which was slightly under cooked and still a little hard. Ordered shrimp fried rice which was about $20 and the container it came in was around the size of my iPhone 14, ridiculous! It was a portion for 1 person. Yellow curry was watered down and so bland. No real Thai flavors, it was just sugary. Campbells soup has thicker broth! Thai chicken wings tasted like just plain fried wings and the chicken satay was ok. The peanut sauce for the satay helped but not so much. This was our first and absolute last time ordering here. Overall, don't waste your money! The location is convenient and the place is really aesthetically pleasing, but my experience was just alright. Parking was easy unless the lot is full because it's in the plaza with Chicken Dijon across from the Chevron gas station. We ordered take out and it was relatively friendly and fast. I don't think I would return because they don't have beef for my favorite dishes. First, they didn't have the lunch specials when I went which was misleading because their yelp page showed pictures of the lunch specials and they looked really good. I was looking forward to get some Thai Tea with my lunch but they didn't have the lunch special. Second, they don't have sliced beef. So if you wanted beef with your Pad Kee Mao or Pad See Ew like I did, too bad. It only comes with chicken. IMHO it tastes best with beef! The only beef dish they have is the Penang curry. I got the Pad See Ew, ordered it medium spicy. There was definitely a kick. It comes with both broccoli and Chinese broccoli. Serving size was just enough, you wouldn't have any leftovers. I tried my friend's Pad Kee Mao/drunken noodles, but it wasn't very good and lacked color. My Pad See Ew was better, but nothing that made me go WOW. read more

Horrible customer service. I ordered the pad Thai which I've had before. This time I got it to go and said no tofu. When I got home it had tofu in it and it smelled funny and was abnormally sweet. I called in to them and the girl told me she packed it herself and would know if it had tofu in it. I told her I would send a photo and she told me she couldn't do anything to help me other than me come in and get something else. Given its proximity to my office, Jetta Thai has been on my list for ages, and I was finally able to give it a try last week. In short, it was fine, but given how competitive the Thai scene is in Los Angeles and especially how competitive it can be right here around the airport, Jetta Thai wasn't a cut above the rest. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Jetta has a very quaint atmosphere with friendly service, and I was disappointed to be unable to really experience it in this time of quarantine. Even so, they're doing pretty well in this new normal of an environment, and take out and delivery are widely available. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $12.00 for Pad See Ew Noodles and $15.00 for Spicy Basil Fried Rice were reasonable given the portion sizes. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? These dishes were just okay. The Spicy Basil Friend Rice was good, with a nice diverse blend of flavors and some kick added via the accompanying hot sauce on the side.
