With all of their good reviews I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with JFK Moving. I was quoted for a 5 - 5 1/2 hour job. I didn't have that much stuff, my only piece of furniture was my bed, and a few end tables. I feel like they purposely went SLOW to make more money because it ended up being almost 8 hours! Also they broke one of my lamps and stole a brand new bottle of Burberry collagen from my roommate! I regret hiring JFK, also the movers didn't wear masks if that's a concern for you. read more

Response time to my initial inquiry was immediate and Max answered all of my questions. On the day of the move, Oscar and Aurelio gave me a courtesy call prior to arriving and were quick and efficient once they started. They carefully wrapped not just the fragile items but the larger furniture as well to protect during transport. It was our first time hiring movers, we checked out three places on yelp and called them for quotes and to see how they work and ultimately decided on JFK. The customer service was friendly, everything was explained to us clearly and there were no surprises in the end about cost. For a 3000 square-foot home we had two trucks and four guys and it took about 13 hours. It was raining pretty much all day, but everything was wrapped up so nicely and arrived in excellent condition. Where do I start? Do I start with it taking them 14 hours to move me 6 miles...and not even put the labeled boxes in the correct rooms but leave most of the items in the garage? Or should I start with how they damaged MULTIPLE items...even trying to hide a grill they broke in the bushes? Or I could talk about how it took well over 2 weeks for them to promise me some very small compensation for the broken items and never follow through. Everyone here is so great! They follow up regularly and for me that's a big plus, great communication from start to finish. I spoke to Josh for setting up my move and he's just so nice to talk to! He answered all my questions, he made sure everything was set up well. Our move was a bit late so he even came down with help just in case! Our movers were Adrian and Rafael. These guys were very friendly and packed everything super well. We had a glass top table and even that was packed very professionally. The whole move went very smoothly and exactly like we wanted. I cannot over emphasize how highly satisfied my family and I were with our move within Riverside County - almost two weeks ago by the professionals at JFK Moving; we moved from Moreno Valley CA to Temecula CA. I moved some of my mother's furniture from her house to an assisted living center (local move). The team of 2 experienced movers arrived on time and took a quick inventory of what would be moved. From start to finish, it took 3 hours. They were very careful with the furniture using plastic wrap/blankets for most. The bed was very heavy but they were able to move it with no damage to bed or walls. They made a stressful situation much less so. Highly recommended. read more

I had to find a last-minute substitution for a so-called professional long-distance moving company that went by the name of Republic Van lines/North American Van lines from Chula Vista California. The driver dug me for four days promising to be here and did not ever show up so I had to cancel and cancel my credit card payment to them and hired JFK moving. I hired him at 7o'clock last night Sunday, October 18. They were here promptly this morning a crew of four whose names I can't remember sadly but there was Adrian andA crew of three besides him. They were courteous professional and did a wonderful job of loading me and I think that they will probably do the same good job tomorrow morning when they get to Fort Mojave Arizona with my move. Their prices are reasonable especially when they give you a last-minute rush job like they did me. I highly recommend this outfit! read more

I am so impressed with their two man team that helped me move on 8/5/20. This was my first time using movers and I had to move long distance 200+ miles. Their team was professional and hard at work the entire time. The move took approximately 12-14 hours (their moving truck broke down for a couple hours for which I was not charged). After the delay, they still took their time to unload all items in their correct rooms. What I was most impressed was the patience they had. Everything was wrapped and protected well. However because it was such a long day at the end a few items were damaged. Everyone was exhausted and in a hurry to go home.
