    They showed up on time and came in so pleasant. They rapped everything and reassured that they would take care of everything and they did. I would forever recommend them. Not only in cost but just reassurance. Sometimes moving an elderly father can be heartbreaking and they seem to make everything okay. Thanks thanks guys.

    They didn't bring any paper to wrap the dishes, so they use plastic, which took them an extra hour and a half. I timed it of extra money out of my pocket. The lead guy was on his phone way too much while he was getting paid hourly by me, they said they were gonna send somebody over to do repairs on my leather couch. They never sent anybody over broke dishes never got compensated. I'm finding more broken things as I open things up as I said stay away from this place. And the reason why there's so many mixed reviews is because it's farmed out to different movers

    Let's start with manager who wouldn't take my call? Mr. Manager, you're only as good as your team. However my experience was your two movers were better than your staff in office. All 3 representatives dropped the ball. Mr. Manager a contract is vital when doing business. I requested 3 times for your staff to include on "work order."Drivers were prepared to dissemble 1 dining room table. 3 apparel boxes ($15.00) addtl charge beyond 3 hour minimum charge. 2 lamp fixtures. 2 flat screen tv's. Yet, never received. Your movers were schedule from 1:00 - 4:00 yet showed up at est 4:15. I had to jump in to make sure we didn't go past 3hrs. Yes, your customer told your movers it was okay just leave them as is (couches). Mr. Manager this customer gave you business $400.00 to be exact. I apologized to your drivers. Why? Your office made this whole experience on a scale 1 -10 a 1. Mr. Manager do the right thing here and take from your profit and tip each of your movers $20.00. They did a great job! for JFK moving. I challenge you, to respond to my Yelp review. By letting myself & those who want to do business with you. That you actually praised movers & gave them each $20.00 Note: your drivers called you to inform you they were going to be 1 1/2 hr late. Your response you had no one else. Poor planning Mr. Manager, yet your two movers & myself worked together to complete move.

    Trash left behind by the movers

    **PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK** I wrote this review a few days after JFK Moving moved my items. I originally gave them two stars. They called me not long after this review was posted and offered me $100 to take it down! They are (badly) bribing customers to take bad reviews down or change them into positive reviews so new customers never find out what a crummy job they do. Protect yourself and your stuff. Hire someone else! We honestly did not have a good experience with this moving company. They tracked a bunch of mulch, leaves, and dirt into the apartment we were moving out of. They used pieces of mulch to wedge our front door open and then left the mulch in the house. They took the trash bag out of my trash can and left it on the floor of the living room along with a bunch of their trash like loose pieces of plastic wrap, bits of cardboard, and the empty rolls from the plastic wrap. I left the apartment about 20 minutes after they left and beat them to the new house by almost two hours. It took them almost three hours to get there. We only moved 1hr 15min away. When they were unpacking, one of the movers had stacked several boxes that had been marked "fragile" on his dolly. When going down a step in our house, the top two boxes fell hard on our tile floor from the dolly. When we opened the first box, we saw that two of our mugs had shattered, one that was a special gift from a friend, and one that my mom, who passed away recently, had painted for me when I was a child. When we opened the second fragile box, we saw that a teacup and plate set also from my mom had also cracked and broken. When we brought up the shattered mugs and plate set to the movers, one of them walked up mid conversation and began telling us that it was actually our fault and that the moving company isn't responsible if things break because of our packing. We explained that the boxes had been packed well and wouldn't have shattered if they hadn't been dropped. We also pointed out that the boxes very clearly had fragile written on them. This one mover continued to argue with us for a while before he finally walked away. The mover who seemed to be in charge offered us a small discount for it, but the mover who broke the mugs never apologized and basically disappeared the rest of the time they were there. Later, we discovered they completely filled our compost and yard waste bin with their moving trash which was mostly a ton of plastic wrap, their lunch trash, and a bit of cardboard. We ended up having to move all of their trash to our trash can instead because it can't be in the yard waste bin. We just moved in and we couldn't put anything else in our trash can for almost a full week because it was full of their trash.

    I hired JFK moving on 3 separate occasions, and I have to say that the service I receive from a crew that was led by a guy named Benny was exceptional. If you call them to get a quote, they beat everyone's pricing! However, Benny and his crew are who you ask for to get the job done right!

    On 8/10/24, JFK Movers moved me into my new home, which had brand new floors. They damaged a valuable piece of vintage furniture, as well as my floors. Before the move began, I specifically asked about full-value coverage due to the value of some of my belongings. In violation of the guidelines set forth by the Surface Transportation Board, I was told they DID NOT OFFER full-value coverage by the foreman, Miguel. The furniture: JFK offered to take my vintage teak buffet and restore the damage. What they returned was a completely different color (this is part of a matching set), and improperly finished. The espresso finish remained tacky because the wood had not been prepared properly, and it had not been sealed. It came off at the slightest touch. They picked it back up to strip it and restore it to its original finish, but have had the piece over a month. I'm not sure what "professional" furniture shop they are using, but it looked to have been applied by a complete amateur. After having my buffet for another month (today is 10/27), they refuse to give me a return date. They have invited me to take legal action or accept the .60/lb payout, which I would have been happy to do, had I known how poorly they would treat this valuable piece. I simply would like it returned in its original condition in a timely fashion. The floors: After a representative acknowledging the scratches and attempted to use some wipes to remove them from the floors, he said they would treat the entire floors to resolve the issue. They now claim the scratches were pre-existing and that they are not visible. I am including photos for reference. They clearly gouged the floor while moving the buffet. I would like compensation in order to repair the floors. This has been an unnecessarily drawn-out and difficult experience, with a complete lack of customer support/service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    If I could give a zero I would. I used JFK moving for a move that was less than 2 miles away. Below is my honest review and concerns that I took up with the company. This was the most unprofessional, uncomfortable, and disrespectful services I have ever received. The movers seemed to be doing a great job in the beginning. They carefully wrapped up all of my furniture and items and packed them up. When we arrived to our new house to unload, the situation changed. This is a brand new house (new construction) with new flooring and carpets. The following are my concerns with their service: ⁃ left water on the floor from the entrance to the kitchen after moving the refrigerator ⁃Asked me where to put things and still placed things in the incorrect areas where I had to move them again myself. Everything was also explicitly labeled. ⁃My clothes on hangars were nicely packed and hung in wardrobe boxes by the movers were then just thrown all over the floor with many of the hangars being broken. ⁃I was told by the head mover that they were going to use blankets to protect the new carpet on the stairs and upstairs from their boots/shoes. Although they covered the stairs with blankets the movers walked all over the brand new carpets in the upstairs loft and bedrooms with dirty shoes/boots and dolly. ⁃Front Door frame was banged up, scraped, and dented - weather seal was ripped. - minor Wall scrape on the stairway wall ⁃Asked to use my tools for simple tasks like removing and putting back table legs In addition to these concerns my major concern was just the behavior of the movers. I specifically hired 4 movers to make this a speedy and efficient move. But instead of a hardworking team, the men were constantly arguing, yelling, and cussing at each other. This slowed them down a lot , and I was left to pay for the time. Their behavior was so inappropriate that I asked my wife with our daughter, who was supposed to meet us, not to come because it was such an uncomfortable and vulgar situation. The The movers spent most of their time arguing and cussing at each other. They were calling each other "idiots", yelling about how they do not need to listen to "the fucking foreman" (head mover), and much more. . L The head mover asked me to bring this to the attention of a manager and claims. When I did I was met with more disrespect and unprofessionalism. After 2 weeks of reaching out to the company I finally received a response and was only offered repairs. Which I initially denied and later accepted. The company failed to send someone out and then only sent me $100. I was left to repair the damages on my own. Above all else the company attempted to blame me for their poor service. They claimed I was the one cussing and rushing the workers. I was accused of exhibiting a "reluctance to cooperate and provide necessary support during the moving process". As the movers were working I offered them water bottles, showed them where each restroom was for their use, attempted to direct them where to put things, guided them to each location and allowed them to use my tools. The only time we discussed pricing was at the end of the move the pricing when I was being asked to pay more because they took longer because of their arguments and lack of communication. The foreman/head mover, specifically expressed to me that many of the issues are caused because of the lack of communication with his team because in his own words, "they are idiots and none of them speak the same language". I would not use or recommend JFK to anyone.

    BEWARE‼ DO NOT USE THIS MOVNG COMPANY…read more I was in contact with Ibrahim, the owner. He sounds nice, but don't be fooled. He is far from honest. He sent two inexperienced workers to help move my furniture. I have expensive furniture they completely damaged due to their carelessness and negligence (see attached pictures). They also did not hook up my washer and dryer properly. The gas nozzle that connects to the dryer was not tightened and caused a gas leak. Leading me to call the fire department to help assist me considering I have a small baby in my household. The water pipes connecting to the washer were not properly tightened as well, as when I turned the water on to use my washer water was sprayed all over my wash room. To add even more insult to injury I expressed my concerns to Ibrahim about the lack of experience his workers had in removing my door off the hinges to which he said was an "easy job" but when it came time to install the door back in place they were not able to do so. In addition, they do not have their own moving truck. They rent from U-Haul (undisclosed at the time I booked their services). They charge for the truck rental and per hour. What was supposed to be a 3 to possibly 4 hour job turned into an absolute nightmare ending in a 9 hour job. The movers got to my house without any wrap for my furniture. I had to ask them to buy wrap. The wrap they purchased was the cheapest wrap providing no protection for my furniture. They also did not have enough moving blankets to protect my big items from getting damaged in transit. I was in contact with Ibrahim from the beginning. I expressed my concerns to him and he kept assuring me they would take care of moving my furniture safely. That never happened. The movers arrived at 2 pm and did not finish the job until close to midnight. After telling Ibrahim of all the damages he said he would pay to get them repaired. He lied. The next day I called numerous times, also texted and he never responded. Days later, he still hasn't responded. Please think twice before using them to help you move. Response to owner (considering I've been blocked from adding another comment): Christina, Ibrahim Dababneh goes by Abe and is your husband. I Zelle'd him the deposit for this move. He's also on social media reflecting his full name and company name (see attached pictures). I did not get the wrong company. It is obvious your company does not want to take responsibility for the damages. Raul was one of the movers he sent to me along with Aaron. Raul is also mentioned in some of the reviews on yelp. It doesn't surprise me that you would lie and act like you did not work with me. It is a shame that you would use God's name in your response. Shame on you and your company. The company does not live up to its name. I would also like a refund for the deposit of $125.00. Please google this company. They are also on U-Hauls website as a listed moving company. Beware of this company they are liars and unethical.
