Be aware that repairs prior to September 19 are no longer warranted. New Owner does not honor old warranty. I guess thats expected but messed up. I got over $400 of misfire work done came in 11 months and only 1000 miles later for the same problem on same cylinder and I'm just out of luck. Upset that I have a useless piece of paper that says 12000 miles or 1 year warranty. I mean if you use the same name at least honor the work done in the same place just my opinion read more

Took my 2013 frs. down to have my engine rebuilt. I traded an antique firearm for discount on labor my wife paid 1500 to get the project rolling was first told the car would be ready in 1 week for the sum of 2800. Over a month later the car was not drivable. I paid 250.00 for a new clutch kit and when I saw that they used my old one I lost my shit. Took it back they "fixed" a few issues with my car keep in mind I went it with a rod knock. No check engine lights car was fully intact. When I got it back for the last time the windows would not roll up or down check engine light was on.they didnt install any of my under body paneling. So while they test drove it and gave it to me it was destroying everything underneath. Tilt was supposed to come with a warrenty but the owner's pillar and her liar mechanic hector was more worried about stuffing their pockets with cash instead of keeping with deals that were made. I ended up going Toyota had them run the scan tool to see the issues with the rebuilt engine multiple cylinder misfires and of course over 1k of same duration to their lack of carr to their work Hector and pilar you both have a special place. Bottom line do not go here. read more

I'm not one to write reviews as you can see this is my first one but I felt I have to warn everyone about this company. I know it appears they have great reviews/ratings but that is for the old owners and workers. I wish I would've known they were a different company before I took our car there. They lie constantly. They are horrible at communication. They promised the car would be done on numerous occasions and when I didn't hear from them I would call then they would give another excuse and another why it wasn't done. They tried to get me to give them more money after they broke something while doing the work, that was not happening. They did the job however when the car was returned it still appeared to be something wrong with what I paid to get fixed. I informed them of this and they stated they were not going to look at the car again unless I paid more money and to just drive it for a certain amount of miles and it should be fine. Also the windows didn't work. Ended up taking the car to the dealership for them to diagnose. The dealership stated the work that I paid for was done incorrectly and the car would not run properly with what they did. The dealership would have to do the job all over and I would have to pay again. We were unable to pay that amount again so we had no other choice but to trade the car in and be upside down. Please be aware of this horrible company. In addition, JG Auto is no longer licensed by the Bureau of Automotive Repair as of September 2019. Do yourself a favor look at the new reviews since the new owners have taken over, not the old ones. Also check the google reviews, people are stating the same thing on that. First of all my last review was for the previous ownership. They were awesome and missed sorely. I gave the new ownership a couple chances beyond the normal oil change but very disappointed. I brought my 2016 Escalade in for some vibration that I felt recently while driving. Asked them to check if it could be wheels in need of re-balancing. They were going to charge me $65 for a diagnostic fee and that it would go towards the cost of the repair if I decided to get it done (the old JG owner would have never charged any fee). They had it most of the day. I had to call them in the afternoon for a progress report instead of them calling me. They told me that I needed to get an alignment and that was the issue and that I needed new tires because they were wearing out unevenly, but never mentioned checking the if the wheels needed balancing. I told them that I can get new tires and can bring it back for the alignment and thinking the $65 would be honored towards the repairs. They told me that in order to have this fee go towards the alignment, I would have to buy tires from them too. They only gave 2 choices of brands. What an up sell!!!! And they aren't even a tire shop. I declined. I checked my tires after I got home and my tires are NOT wearing out evenly. Just wasted $65. AND I will not bring back any of my vehicles back there again for any services. Avoid this place. Cannot say for sure but most of these high reviews were probably taken from old posts from the old ownership like mine was. read more

Amazing!!! I called this morning because my check engine light was on for the last couple of days. I had already called a handful of mechanics that weren't able to see me beforehand. When I looked for the tools to rent to replace the part, it would be more expensive then it took for JG Auto Service to replace the part, so I just had them do it. It was a no brained. I got Jorge's business card a while back from a class we took together and he said to hit him up should I ever need some work done on my car. Up until recently I didn't need anything done, but I recommended my brother there for his radiator and overheating issues. They fixed it fast and at a descent price. A few days later for whatever reason it had the overheat light come back on again and he took it back and they took care of it with no hassle or any problem at all and at no additional cost since it was the same issue. Car runs like a champ ever since and my bro is very happy that I recommended JG to him and says he will definitely go back for future work on his cars. Then my car had the check engine light come on and it turns out it was the idle throttle body that was clogged up and dirty. So they replaced the spark plugs, cleaned and serviced the throttle body and did a fuel injection cleanse. It's running smooth again now! I thought it would be super pricey (most mechanics try n rape you! lol), but Jorge is honest and tells you how it is and what needs to be done. They got it fixed really fast and at a great price. I'm really happy with their work and their customer service is top notch! They'll let you know what is urgent and what can wait..as opposed to trying to up sale you and try and get you to get more unnecessary work done. So glad I finally found a great, honest auto repair shop to take my car. They'll def be seeing my Scion xD there again..hopefully just for basic stuff and nothing serious! They could have had the opportunity to make so much "unhonest money" off my car but decided to take the road of integrity. I have to let people know about this place. This the short of it. I brought my 07 Camry in for a check engine light. They changed the plugs and 5 out of 6 coils as 1 was changed at another shop. Changed the wiring harness for each coil. I have brought the car back at least 6 times for the light coming back on, the answer i would get coil warranty wtf. 4 of 5 coils fail, right. I know that all they did was just reset the light as next day light was back on. So bottom line i am out 1100.00 +. They are not HONEST. I just wanted my car fixed and they fail miserably. read more
