Jorge really got my daughter out of a jam. Her car had overheated in Norco on a Sunday afternoon while up there to attend a soccer tournament with her daughter. My husband and I traveled from San Diego to pick her up, but the dilemma was what to do with the car on a Sunday when all mechanics are closed...I contacted Jorge through his Yelp page, and he contacted us shortly after. We left the car, with keys hidden, in a strip business center near his shop. He assured us that he would pick car up next morning. Sure enough, on Monday morning, Jorge had already picked up car and said that he would have it ready by that afternoon. He accepted payment over the phone since we couldn't get there until after business hours, we drove my daughter back up to pick up car and he had left it where we had left it the day before so it would be easy to find..He's an honest businessman who could have really taken advantage of my daughter by charging her a lot of money since she was in a jam..but, no, he charged an honest and very fair price for radiator replacement...Highly recommend! read more

Well, I have 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. Engine started to miss very bad. Got off the freeway and limped it to the closes mechanic in Redlands. They could't pinpoint the issue. So, limped it home. Did some research and it it looked terminal, maybe new engine ($5-6K). Saw JG reviews on Yelp. Talked to George the owner and had my truck towed to his shop. He mentioned about valve seats are a known issues with Hemi engines. Engine heads were removed for a detailed diagnosis. And bingo, what I found during research and Georges hunch was true, sucked a valve seat. Luckily only needed a valve job which is fare less than a new engine. It was also found my catalytic converters were bad. After a couple of weeks, truck is done and runs better than before, smother and more power. George and his team did an excellent job. Very forthcoming with facts, no BS'ing around. Being a prior mechanic/marine machinist I fully understood the problem and the fix. All and all $2400 is a whole lot less than $5-6 thousand bucks anytime. Its hard to find a good trustworthy mechanic theses days. Well, I found one in J&G. I would recommend J&G and the young owner George to anyone. read more

I will say from the start... I am very hard to please and very exacting in what I expect for my hard earned money. From the jump... Both Jorge and Manny were/are awesome. I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Montero which is very hard to work on and is very difficult to find parts for. These guys "kicked ass" and got it done. There were some initial problems with the vehicle. Engine light has been on and off for a while. Found this place and sent them a message. George replied almost instantly and told me to bring it in. He discovered the issue had to do with transmission and might require a long term replacement. In the meantime, he topped it off with more fluid and gave me the next steps I should take. This place is amazing! And so is Jorge. I started by bringing my car for a oil change. I have been going to Jiffy Lube because it was easy and I knew certain things were being looked at regularly. However I wasn't sure if I was paying more than I needed to be and started looking at other places. I spoke with Jorge a few times on Yelp's message center. He was so good to reply. Then I had other concerns and things that needed to be looked at. My car is up there in mileage. In fact I have never had a car with this many miles. I addressed my concerns with Jorge and I even drove him around a couple of times while I reproduced the clunking sound in my car. He was very patient. I am definitely switching my loyalties here. I even through him a curve ball with an odd request for a repair on my car. He and his crew worked hard and I am amazed at the results. Fooled by reviews... so i came here also based off their good reviews and now i find myself wasting time coming back tp this place a third time trying to fix my car. First time i came to fix my ac compressor... they dropped off my car at my job which was so convinient for me... but as i drove off i started hearing a loud flapping noise. So had to go back.. second time i went i explained my issue and one of the mechanics made a joke about it. Mind it i was already late to pick up my daughter by having to come back to this shop. So once they fixed the flapping noise..i drove off and heard the loud acceleration noise when pressing the gas pedal..its so loud that my relative even asked what happened to your car. Now im going back tomorrow again and hope they get it right this time.... updating soon....okay so got my car back and jorge the owner kept his word and fixed their mistake. My ac works and car sounds back to normal. I give them 3 stars because it took 3 tries to get my car right. Jorge did great on handling the sitiation. read more
