I originally met Jamie via Instagram. Her salon wasn't too far from me and I liked her work. I've been to her twice now. Last year she colored, cut and styled my hair. The process took about 3 hours and the whole time there I felt very relaxed. I've been to other stylists who are late and book multiple people at one time (not the greatest experience since you feel neglected and the process is longer.) The time with Jamie passed by quickly. Jaime is very down to earth and easy to talk you. All her attention was solely on me. She understands what's best for the health of her clients' hair, knows everyone's hair is different and doesn't push any products on you. She mainly focuses on color and bridal hair (not on extensions or makeup). From past experience, I jump around to different hair stylists and rare that I return to the same one. However, this time around, I needed a haircut and Jamie was the first person I thought of. I wanted to schedule an appointment within the next couple weeks and Jamie opened a spot for me the following week. She even told me the price upfront and sent me a text message the day before to remind me of my appointment. Note that she has moved and no longer in her studio in Rancho (still close by though). My wash, haircut and style was completed in less than an hour and I'm out the door! I've found someone honest, someone I like, and someone who can do hair. LOL. I first met Jamie, who did my bridesmaid hair at my friend's wedding in Riverside. She styled half of my hair up and the other half down. My hair had held up all day, despite how much I was moving around, so I contacted her to do my wedding day hair. For the hair trial, I got to see what my hair would look like in a low bun. My hair held up well indoors, but when I went outside in the windy conditions for a few hours that day, my hair blew around a fair bit. This is a long overdue review and I'm totally sorry to Jamie for taking me so long to write this. I got my hair done about a month ago and I was in a desperate need of a change in my hair. I was going to this company meeting with over 1,000 employees and then I had this charity basketball game I was going to that same night. Whooo! Jamie is GREATTT!! I was more than satisfied when I walked out the door! The studio was kept clean, it gives you that immediate cozy feeling. I went in for a haircut and needless to say, Jamie did an awesome job! She did exactly what I wanted and gave me advice about new hairstyles. Also, she also gave me tips on how to take care of my hair! (Girls, use heat protectant!) I was really happy because Jamie didn't go scissor-happy on me.
