My food tasted clean and fresh, not oily at all, and had good flavor. I regret that I swapped the white rice for pork fried rice and wasn't really a fan of the pork taste, I should have stuck with white rice. The egg rolls were hefty . My man said his wings were mid. My kids said their food was ok, us all preferring the taste back home. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The place itself looks nice, but it felt a little stuffy inside, so we ended up taking the food to go. Overall, a good decent affordable experience.

I love…read morethe Peking duck in Philly... long story short keep going to Philly or NY for good Peking duck. I was hoping to get a similar tast here in absecon/south jersey. The Peking duck here comes with some type of Asian pancake/tortilla with fresh cucumber and string onions and a sauce plus the actual Peking duck. I made tacos out of them and they were pretty alright. The actual Peking duck by itself was very dry and it was necessary to make the taco for it to taste great. I'll just give it a 3.5 out of five. Decent.

And their congee is what my taste buds have followed from many many many moons ago where I started enjoying it in the US after having it in HK. Where you ask? Full dim sum weekends at the Crown Palace locations in Middletown and Marlboro. Then I found it at Ocean at their Asian restaurant. I discovered the Leung brothers in Ventnor and have religiously followed them and their exquisite palate ever since. While I'm sad to know that Andrew has left the area, his brother Michael is keeping it real. Fighting the good fiscal fight but do do do do come and try all the options. Their food; their hospitality and their human and generous goodness is a blessing to this South Jersey community. The location near Smithville has easy, free parking. The place is air conditioned and its decor is industrial and rustic. Ok I'm no stylist. So sue me if it's not the correct fashion term or architectural comment. You are coming for the food, right?!!! This is not for the BFIT location in Galloway or Pleasantville or Northfield but in Absecon. It really is a bit pretentious to call any restaurant Best Food in Town. It means that in theory you better be churning out some decent stuff less you make yourself into a total hyperbolic cliché. Of course when the place that has this name is a Jersey strip mall Chinese spot, well, you know. I found out about BFIT accidentally while waiting for the elevator at our hotel when on the table next to the newspapers was a stack of menus for BFIT. For whatever reason I took one with me and later on made the call that we would give this place a shot. The ordering process was easy enough and the food was ready on time twenty minutes later. Sweet and sour chicken, dumplings, crab rangoon, general tso and something else I forget about. Two issues right off the bat. For the sweet and sour they only gave a tiny (and I mean tiny) cup of the sauce. Of course how would you know that when you're doing take out and the stapled closed brown bag of food is inside the tied off outer plastic bag and both are filled to the point of exploding. The main issue was that everything was really, really greasy/oily. All of the food and the inner part of the containers all left a sheen on your fingers when you touched them. Yick! The meat quality seemed decent and the flavor (Burp! - another grease release a month later) was I guess alright but the texture was really miserable. Nice enough people and it was edible but man this BFIT location indeed deserves its two star Yelp aggregate. Next time we're in the area and I want to take a ride on the MSG Express it will be somewhere else.
