First, note that there are several locations, affiliated or not I don't know and I don't care, with the same name. This is not for the BFIT location in Galloway or Pleasantville or Northfield but in Absecon. It really is a bit pretentious to call any restaurant Best Food in Town. It means that in theory you better be churning out some decent stuff less you make yourself into a total hyperbolic cliché. Of course when the place that has this name is a Jersey strip mall Chinese spot, well, you know. I found out about BFIT accidentally while waiting for the elevator at our hotel when on the table next to the newspapers was a stack of menus for BFIT. For whatever reason I took one with me and later on made the call that we would give this place a shot. The ordering process was easy enough and the food was ready on time twenty minutes later. Sweet and sour chicken, dumplings, crab rangoon, general tso and something else I forget about. Two issues right off the bat. For the sweet and sour they only gave a tiny (and I mean tiny) cup of the sauce. Of course how would you know that when you're doing take out and the stapled closed brown bag of food is inside the tied off outer plastic bag and both are filled to the point of exploding. The main issue was that everything was really, really greasy/oily. All of the food and the inner part of the containers all left a sheen on your fingers when you touched them. Yick! The meat quality seemed decent and the flavor (Burp! - another grease release a month later) was I guess alright but the texture was really miserable. Nice enough people and it was edible but man this BFIT location indeed deserves its two star Yelp aggregate. Requested "very little sauce". Both dishes are swimming! Texture on General Chicken white meat is weird. Won't be ordering again. I thought I was ordering from the one in Northfield. I recommend that restaurant for sure. Great egg rolls, rice, ribs at Northfield location. Three stars because the delivery was on time and driver pleasant. read more

Over the past couple Of years there's been a change in Management . The New Owner and her daughters are super sweet, and very Friendly. I always feel welcomed. General Chk. combination is what I live off of and the chicken that they use is very good. It compliments the Dish and is super tasty. As for someone who recently moved to Absecon/Galloway and has lived in Atlantic County my whole I'd Highly Recommend Best Food In Town (Absecon/Galloway) location very much. It's not that I love the food because I'm friends with the people who own the restaurant. I love the food because their food is made to order. It's always good and they never get my order wrong. I find it convenient that there is an online ordering place, that way people that don't like talking to people can still order. Great service. I plan on coming back all the time. read more

We were told we had to come pick up our food and they were not coming back to us. They rush you off the phone and speak very rudely to customers. We provide enough business to this establishment . This place should be called worst food in town. Ghetto Chinese food that is sub par. The place was filthy and the owner was insistent I pay cash. I ordered my standard General Tso's chicken and it was mostly freezer burnt refried bread pieces, very little chicken, pork fried rice was tasteless and the egg roll tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a while. i'm typing this in order to hopefully, let the owner of this restaurant know how his/her restaurant is being run! ! ! : in short, this restaurant has the absolute worst customer service (of a n y type business) i have ever experienced in my life (& i'm 56 years old)!!!!! i called to order delivery & had politely explained to the young lady answering the phone, that i was allergic to corn (politely emphasizing it, due to the fact that her english was barely comprehensible). i then proceeded to order the first dish which comes with several pieces of baby corn, so i asked her to not include them in my order. i then continued ordering (asking her to tell me whether each dish had corn or not). after i finished ordering, i paid (using a cc), then i hung up. a few minutes later, i realized i had forgotten to ask if any of the sauces had corn starch, so i called back. the same young lady answered the phone, & told me "yes, the sauce does have corn starch"...so (despite wondering why she hadn't told me earlier), i continued being polite & asked her for another sauce without corn starch. well that seemed to confuse her, b/c she just walked away from the phone, then an older lady comes on & tells me in a very loud voice that my food is already prepared & about to be delivered...so i had to repeat everything to her... it was extremely obvious from her voice, that she was having a bad day & took it out on me...b/c after i finished speaking, she continued speaking very loud, telling me that the girl who took my order told me the sauce had corn starch, & when i said the girl hadn't, she simply kept repeating that lie in a loud voice, while not letting me get a word in edgewise!?!?!? then once i finally was heard (telling her that that wasn't true...that the girl had never told me)...she had the nerve to tell me a n o t h e r lie, saying that she was standing right next to the girl who took my order, so she had heard everything!?!?!? i then (while continuing to be polite, as difficult as that was), told her again, that that wasn't true, then asked her why was she lying... bottom-line...she metely continued speaking over me in a loud voice, repeating her lies...by then i was starving, so i just asked if she would take my order again (since her english was a little better than that of the other girl)...with that, she actually flat out, said, "no"...i asked, "what do you mean, no?"...she said, "you waste our food, so no"...! ? ! ? ! ? no matter what i said, she just kept repeating that! ? ! ? ! ? i then asked to speak to her supervisor or the owner, & she simply said, "not here...i am supervisor...goodbye", then hung up the phone! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! please, whoever reads this, share y o u r stories about this e v i l woman if you have any, &/or please share t h i s with the owner of this place! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! read more

Its not the best food in town, its not even the best Chinese food in town. I stopped going when they overcooked my General Tso's, the reason I kept on going was that there was usually enough from a single meal to be turned into a leftover dinner. If you need to dine in Absecon on the dime then this is the place. read more

Stopped here randomly on our yearly visit to Marriott Fairway Villas. Food was excellent! Nice family run establishment. Since we are disabled the daughter even brought our food out to our car. Highly recommend! read more
