The best burger you'll ever have in middle Tennessee that's for sure. I always bring cash from Manchester just to get my food here. The wait can be up to 45 minutes when it's super busy and I would wait for it ten times over just to have my burger melt! They started to be closed on Monday so unfortunately the one time I was in town this year I had to go next door to Hardee's. Jiffy's has been in business for more than 50 years at the corner of Hillsboro Road and Jackson Street. It's been featured on multiple shows but it was my first time to visit. What a cool experience. The restaurant is like a time capsule with the decor featuring antiques and more baseball team photo plaques than I could count. The staff was super nice and service was quick. The bacon cheeseburger and tater tots were perfect. Watching the staff at the galley kitchen, and you can still get a glimpse of what local restaurants looked like before chain fast food restaurants dominated. I'd highly recommend a visit here and make a day trip to Manchester. read more

Drove out of my way to come here from the freeway and treat myself and my kids to a hamburger! Mine was juicy and perfect, as was the onion rings and fries! My kids were not impressed, being born after 2000, and have no ability to understand what a hamburger should be! I would have packed them sandwiches and just ate all the burgers myself had i known! Great little place not too far off the interstate if you are traveling to or from Nashville. We had cheeseburgers with seasoned fries and slaw. All were delicious.
