I saw that this Jiffy Lube had been bashed a bit in 2013, so I thought I'd check it out and as of Sept 2014 they are much improved based on what I had read. Firstly, I arrived at 6:45pm and they close at 7pm, but they didn't blink and were happy to take me in. They were able to quickly pull up my service history from Baltimore and asked me if I had any special concerns, and I told them I just pulled a huge trailer across America and wanted the transmission fluid checked. Since I drive a Ford Escape Hybrid, the check plug for the transmission is hidden underneath the car, and it took some doing and quick research to find it. They were able to tell me leeks were full but dark and it should most likely be changed soon, so I left a much more informed customer than when I arrived. They didn't try any upsell. They stayed open a half hour late to service my car properly and see that I was satisfied. I am satisfied and hope customers return to this service station for oil changes. I've been a Jiffy Lube customer all over the US as I've traveled, and this shop has earned my respect. read more

Came in for an oil change was quickly setup and they went to work- until they notified me my transmission fluid was low and in need of a change. Had no idea and the heads up was really appreciated- normally I would disregard these suggestions but he made aware that I could damage my transmission if I didn't change the fluid. I was strapped for cash so they were kind enough to give me a deal and saved me 20-25% off my entire purchase! I took my car for an oil change at the Jiffy Lube in Burbank. One of the workers returned saying that they couldn't change my oil filter because they couldn't remove the housing for it. Instead of providing me with a solution to fix the situation, they gave me the oil filter to pretty much figure it out on my own. I told one if my coworkers about the situation and they recommended for me to see Jorge, the manager of the Jiffy Lube in Alhambra. I explained the situation to Jorge and he took care of the problem for me. I will only be going to the Jiffy Lube in Alhambra for future needs. read more

Decided to go to Jiffy Lube because I heard of their fast service. I drove in to get your routine oil change and waited in the lobby for someone to attend me. I made myself a coffee from their coffee maker and then was attended by an employee. By the time I was done paying, they had finished my car and was ready to go. Probably the fastest oil changes I had. I usually go to Pep Boys because it's $20 with their coupon but I usually wait for hours for my car to get serviced. At Jiffy Lube it got serviced in 10-15 minutes while I made my payment of $35. I think it is worth $15 more for a faster service. Great employees that know what they are doing. I'm new to the area and have been to this Jiffy Lube about 3 times. The first two times were for oil changes. I then went there for transmission and radiator fluid changes too- wow- this ran me about 260.00. I've always felt they were shady and my friend told me to be careful because he too felt they were shady and did a b/s job. Two weeks later, my engine light is on. I don't know why and I am scared to find out. I really don't know what to do. I read the owner's manual and it says this could be several reasons and one could be because of cheap oil (Jiffy Lube); it also says that maybe a cap is not screwed on tight enough (Jiffy Lube). I've been to Walmart before and had my oil changed there before. They provided great service; I think I may go there and have them run a diagnostic check. I hope that all it is and nothing serious, but I don't know crap about cars- this is my first car and I am from NYC, so all we take out there are trains... I really wish I would have read these reviews first before giving Jiffy Lube my business. I thought by going there that they would be reputable, but I guess I was wrong. I don't think I will go back here again. I much rather go to the dealer, pay a little extra, but feel confident and comfortable that I am getting quality work, and if there is a problem, it will be handled in a professional manner. But for now, I will stick with Walmart for my oil changes.. Sorry Jiffy Lube, but you so lost my business and a loyal customer!! read more

I came to Jiffy Lube for a quick oil change only. I was on my way to Just Tires and saw Jiffy Lube before Just Tire, Just Tires was gonna be a 3 hour wait for four cars. The signs all over advertising $24.99. This was a cheap and speedy situation. Ricky and Theresa did a great job :), they answered all my questions and where very HELPFUL!!!!!!! First time at Jiffy lube ever. I was the only customer at the time.The young man and lady there were cranky as hell..they both spoke and behaved like a new guest is supposed to know the services and charges; checked the oil level when I left...the oil was below the 2nd line (WTF!) The man didn't explain that the air filter hadn't been changed til after the $45 oil change..at that time they said it was a separate $15 charge! Most expensive oil change I've ever paid for...didn't even include air filter! If people have their own mechanic,go to him for oil changes... If you don't have one,get one because oil changes include an air filter,with the oil topped off above the 2nd line for a much lower price read more

I called because my check engine light came on. A lady answered the phone and said they were slow, so they could run diagnostics for me. When I got there about 20 minutes later, they said they were not allowed to run the diagnostics. Granted, this is not a service they offer anymore, but just tell me that right off the bat rather than wasting my time. Super frustrating. Plenty of other higher quality auto part shops nearby. read more

BAD EXPERIENCE - Total FRAUD !! Where do I begin??? the services requested OIL CHANGE and COOLANT FLUSH. - Oil was drained WITHOUT replacing the filter. After pointing out that the filter was NOT REPLACED, they said there's a extra cost and I didn't request one. After complaining "the manager", the manager spoke to the employee underneath the bay and he had old oil two (2) filters in the Catch (that's the net under the car) one small and one large one. The employee then showed the manager that he "Did" change the filter and held up the small white filter. WRONG ANSWER!! My filter is an ORANGE FRAM. I could not believe they tried to pull this crap on me!!! The manager said a few words to the employee, the filter was then changed and took a photos as proof that the filter was changed- REALLY!! BUSTED!!!! How many people are sitting inside the store trusting the job is being right?? When working on the Coolant flush.. they only pulled out a minimal amount of fluid. NOT even closed the equivalent in the vehicle. I questioned the amount and claimed they put in more than I saw and CHARGED me for the extra for overage. After researching the capacities of the coolant exchange machine, there is NO WAY they could have done the job right without refilling the machine. I watched the whole process and the machine was not a refilled. In fact, the reserve tank wasn't full to begin with. BUSTED AGAIN!!! When asked to go in the office to pay. I did pay reluctantly. Windows were washed & cleaned. HOWEVER, ALL other checks were not done. How do I know?? The dust/dirt remained undisturbed. No hand prints to remove and fill/check anything!! HOWEVER!!! They manage purposely BEND AND DAMAGED MY ANTENNA !! When I got home the antenna was bend so bad it had to be removed to straighten out. I guess that what I get for complaining to the manager, right? read more

My two pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses were stolen at this location (Pink Flash Aviators and Brown Wayfarers). My husband brought my car to this location since I had just had a baby, forgot to take the sunglasses out of the drivers side panel, and after it got serviced, parked my car in our garage. I didn't use my car for two weeks after it was serviced and saw that they were gone. We called the location only to have the store manager yell at us, saying we took too long to realize it, and the man who serviced our car denied stealing them. Problem is, my husband handed off the car to a WOMAN, so they didn't even question the right person. Short story--we are out 300 dollars worth of sunglasses, and this location houses and protects kleptomaniacs and has AWFUL customer service. Don't got here. read more

My car needed a oil change. So I go to jiffy at Alhambra. Yes the process has changed. Stay in car no problem. Yet the person "George" lost my washer for the oil cap . Sitting & waiting. Till he finally tells me can't locate. Will order new & deliver to my work site. Well Monday rolls by nothing. So I call . First no professionalism on the phone by customer services on hold for 8 mins. He them changed his time. No greeting just " I got busy u come & pick it up? Really? So now still nothing resolved. I'm driving without a washer . I refuse to referral any females to your place. & Yes I will take my hard earn cash to somewhere else. .I have to give 1 start. U really know how to take t cash & run! So females be aware & in guard don't beleive "I'll go the extra mile" .even when they are in the wrong! Also never received my cap for oil. So will be contacting better business bureau. read more

I brought my G35 to get an oil change. I usually do it myself, but I was busy, plus they had advertised a good price. After oil change, I realized that my G35 started leaking oil the next day. I was curious, so I jacked my car up, removed splash guards (they forgot to put some bolts back on, luckily these are cheap plastic push bolts) and saw the drain bolt was leaking and had some hardened silicon around it???????WTF is that? Missing crush washer AND my filter was not changed....just wow. Will NEVER come here again. read more
