PROS - Walk ins accepted (went first thing in the morning, they open at 8am) - They are able to do an oil change service for my car (a Mini R60) and I didn't have to drive to the dealer in Duarte, or the Euro-car specialty shops around. - They let you hang out in your car. - the crew were pretty friendly (including a mechanic stationed at the lower level beneath the car who greeted me hello) - they reset the warning messages on your dash lol - I was in and out in about 15-20mins. I did have to spend over $100 but it was expected for a european car. Also my car is oil-thirsty and uses 5 bottles of oil. My car ran a lot smoother after that. First time using Jiffy Lube and it was a good experience. I have a Jeep so you can't really mess things up. I need an oil change every 5k miles. I paid only for labor since I brought my own oil and filter. My filter is $10 at autozone. I get two 5 quarts of Kirkland 5w-30 for $40 which makes it out to $20 for one oil change. So total is like $80 bucks per oil change including labor which isn't bad since you don't have to dispose the oil yourself. Why do I bring my own filter and oil? I'm personally not a fan of pennzoil BUT if you frequently change your oil, it doesn't make much of a difference anyway. I use to only get Mobil 1 or Liqui Moly and I would continue if I had a European car but Kirkland is just fine. I like to use the OEM Mopar oil filter. I've used the Mobil 1 filter but it was expensive. My advice: whenever Costco or Sam's Club has a sale on engine oil and you're due for an oil change within a few months, buy the engine oil. AC Service Only I went to a neighboring Jiffy Lube for AC service; however, majority of branches within a 5-10 mile radius either did not have the AC Service Machine or was inoperable. I had called 3-4 different locations before finding this branch where they were able to complete the job. Prior to service, my AC was blowing warm air despite MAX setting. After service, my AC is blowing like it's new again. Price is for complete AC evacuation and recharge. They got my vehicle in and out within 45 minutes. read more

5 stars for the service team members. 0 stars for corporate. I came to JiffyLube in need of oil change. The service was better than I expected and they've improved several processes since my last visit (over 4 years ago). Now, you don't even need to leave your car for them to provide maintenance! I got to pretend I was a speed racer as the members bounced around the car inspecting various metrics. It's a 5 star review because I don't have complaints. They found that my filter needed to be fixed and suggested it. After they showed me the additional pricing, I agreed and they went about their business. However, this review is also for the corporate team who is in charge of coordinating with Yelp for their coupons. Get your act together. My review is not the only review to point out that the coupon no longer works at this location. In fact, the code provided by Yelp is not worth $26. It's worth $20. So why am I writing a negative review for corporate when it's only $6? Because this mistake forces your service members to apologize to customers on a daily basis. That is unacceptable. They are out in the hot summer sun handling grease and hot metal. The least you can do is make sure the coupons are redeemable in the correct manner. The lady who rung me up apologized repeatedly. She told me that the $26 coupon code stopped working around July and that the best she can do for me was give me the $20 discount. I told her it's not a big deal, it's only $6. She replied "I know but I understand that $6 is a lot for some people. So I'm so sorry". The company has failed its employees when the employee must apologize for something that is outside of their control. Corporate, while you sit in your air conditioned offices checking your revenue, can I ask that you also use that time to support the people who are sweating in the 90+ degree heat with only a paper cup to drink water from? My go-to mechanic unfortunately closed during the pandemic, and I have been going to Jiffy Lube for my car's oil change service during the last couple of years... 4 stars!!!! So easy and so convenient since there are no appointments necessary to get an oil change. You just drive up and line up with the other cars waiting for service. No need to leave your car; you stay in your car and one of the staff members will carefully guide you when it's your turn to drive your car to the oil change service area. During my last trip, it was pretty busy but there were three bays open and the branch seemingly fully staffed, so it only took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. Definitely used the time in the car to check out the Yelp feeds of friends to check out their delicious finds. Hoping that Jiffy Lube will keep these routines even after post-COVID. Don't forget to check the Jiffy Lube website for discount coupons as well Yelp for Check-In offers. The coupon I found online was better than the Yelp Check-In, but this will depend on the type of oil change service. My old trusty car needs high mileage oil. This Jiffy Lube branch is on Fremont Ave, but the entrance is actually located on Valley Blvd alongside the drive thru at Jack in the Box. Vehicles exit on Fremont after the oil change service.
