We gave them a shot and they failed. They basically lied on the receipt that they checked the radiator overflow, and did not. While driving back, had a hot episode and we needed to add radiator fluid. That we added ourselves. Screw how the services were, their integrity and trustworthiness ARE CRAP. read more

I usually go to Jiffy Lube in Culver City - but decided to go to this Jiffy Lube in Alhambra since it's close to my home... I was being quoted $100.00 for an oil change - when I told the rep I usually pay 51.99 for SYNBLND. Not only is the system supposed to show my last service, but I had a receipt showing I pay $51.99!!! I turned the corner by the Jack in the Box and started hearing a terrible grinding noise coming from the back of my car. I thought I had a flat tire, and Jiffy Lube was the first driveway available. I pulled into the parking lot, the mechanic Jose heard the noise and came out to check on me. I thought I had a flat tire and that the noise was coming from my rim riding on the ground. It was actually a piece of metal caught up in my wheel well grinding on the ground. He pulled it out and offered to top off the air in my tires. Fantastic service, thank you Jose! read more

So they have a weird and chaotic check in system. Supposedly the tech scans your car before u can check in. I literally waited 20 minutes and was told twice to hold tight that the tech was going to check my car in as a first come first serve basis. The problem is that people who arrived AFTER me got checked in before me. I'm usually a patient person but with me hovering around the cashier and seeing people come and go really ticked me off. The tech pulled me aside and showed me that he was bumping the next in line to serve me which was incorrect. Check in 20 minutes Oil change 15 minutes What's wrong with this picture? read more

First time going to this Jiffy Lube location. The service was alright, when I first pulled my car after an employee signaled me to move forward, I had a weird interaction with a second employee who was like "Next time wait for someone to tell you to pull in before you do so." It was a bizarre welcome in. The service was quick. After I got in my car I noticed that they did not change the windshield sticker reminder to come back on a certain date, or after a certain amount of miles. These are just small things, but it does overall impact my decision on whether to return in the future. read more

This Jiffy Lube is great! I have to say, I've had to come in a couple of times on the fly when I didn't have a lot of time to be dealing with car troubles. They always answer the phone, they take you as soon as they can, and get you out in no time. Andre in particular is wonderful. He's worked with me each time I've been there, and his expertise mixed with his honesty about the work his team does on my vehicle makes me feel confident that I am not being taken advantage of. As an added cherry on top last time I went, Andre brightened my day with conversation and jokes. They take pride and respect in their business- even the coffee is hot and fresh well into the afternoon appointments. In fact, when I was there last week I barely had enough time to finish my cup of coffee before my oil change was done. I highly recommend! read more

This place is a joke. Took my father's 06 Civic for an oil change since I didn't have time to do it myself, big mistake. The service was normal which was less than an hour but the issue comes when I do the next oil change on the car. Long and behold the drain plug is not the OEM but one that comes with a spring and you use this when you strip the oil pan thread. So great these guys stripped the pan, didn't tell me and let me go on my way. The memes are true don't ever go to jiffy lube. read more

I came here for an oil change and Andre told me that one of my brake lights was out so they could fix it. They fixed the brake light under my rear windshield and in the process knocked out both my tail end brake lights. I returned to address this they claimed no responsibility since those were not the brake lights they repaired. I didn't have any issue with my tail end brake lights before this. They do not know what they are doing and will not take responsibilty for their errors Jiffy Lube will not do anything with either (see my picture). One more quick Jiffy Lube nightmare story for you I have a friend who went in for an oil change and they forgot to fill his car with oil he drove off and ruined his engine. Luckily his insurance paid for a new car. I however will need to spend hundreds of dollars fixing what their incompetent tech messed up with no recourse. I will never go to a Jiffy Lube again, I found a local mom and pop mechanic who will change my oil for half of what Jiffy Lube charges. I strongly suggest you do the same. read more

Absolutely no other customers there so I had zero wait time, which was cool. I also liked that they have you stay in your vehicle while the work's done. What I didn't like was the high price ($70+ regular oil into a 4-cylinder) and I noticed that they didn't change the filter. I know this bcuz I usually change my own oil and I write the mileage onto the filter. Also, they topped off the air in my tires and one tire was 10lbs more than the others so my TPMS sensor went off on my way home. If they can't even get air in the tires right, kind of makes me wonder about everything else that they're doing. read more

Ok now, I'm so anti jiffy lube because they're a massive chain and I know they'll be super expensive and there's a notion they'll upsell you. Last time I was here which was 2-3 years that's exactly what happened. I came in for a basic oil change and was thrown so many questions to buy more things. Well, with the glorious Yelp discount I didn't have to worry about the price. Secondly, Andre showed me the choices for oil and just stared and waited till I chose instead of prying. My car was done in about 15 minutes on a Saturday morning when I thought it would take longer (I assumed it would be busier). The only odd thing is they had me go back to the parking lot and pull my car in to the work area which I would have preferred not to do. A painless procedure. DO NOT GO HERE! These guys forgot to put the drain plug washer back in my 2011 Subaru sti. As as result I have oil spilled all in my engine bay and the nice shiny exhaust system I had installed is now stained black as well as the rest of the undercarriage. Most annoying process ever. I went in to get a normal oil change and everything went fine until the end when I was given back my keys. The casing around my car key was broken. And when I let the staff know about it the guy said it was like that when I gave it to him. I drive my car everyday I know for a fact it wasn't. Then another employee finally said they will order a new part for my key and took my info. Didn't here from them at all. I called the store and asked again and no one knew what I was talking about. I have called many times and always there is never a manager. Took my information down many more times and no call back still. This has lasted a month and still no key. They absolutely failed the test they didn't even know they were given. Went in for a full oil change, with a new filter, and the full works as well as to top off coolant. They finished and I guess forgot everything they were supposed to do. The windshield wiper fluid wasn't filled, car was not vacuumed, neglected to fill the coolant, and get this, did not even change the oil filter. How do I know? Because I had a unique oil filter which is directly shipped to one of my friends from a small company, and guess what was in there? That exact same (tiny) brand that no major retailer would carry. Don't come here, save your car and go elsewhere. You probably won't have your filter changed either. read more
