If I could give Jiffy Lube less than one star, I would. The Debate Rd Jiffy Lube is terrible. While waiting for my oil change, which was over an hour, I watched them manipulate customer after customer into services they did not need just so they could charge more. It really upset me because they took advantage of a young woman who only came in for an oil change but was convinced by the very sketchy technician to buy $300 with of services. When it was my turn to pay, they tried the same tactics but I understood their mind games and declined. I am disgusted at how the employees treat customers. Those who don't know much about cars are trusting these people to not lie and scam them yet that is exactly what these people do. In short, find someplace else to service your vehicle. Talked my wife into additional services which cost her $353.92. Given she was only at the station for 25 minutes I'm also a little critical as to whether or not the promised services were completed satisfactorily. They drove my truck into their own garage door, then acted as if it was somehow my fault... it took getting the police involved to even get basic information out of them that insurance required - such as the driver's name. They do a fine job on my oil changes. But I had $4 in my cup holder that was reimbursement for my business and they took it... it was not left there as a tip. I didn't think I had to hide everything in my car or tell them specifically not to take anything. read more

Would never ever come back here. In fact, I am debating going back and asking for a refund. The oil change took about 10 minutes but after the fact, despite having the choice to stay in your vehicle, they had me park and go inside to pay which took another 30 minutes. Any time that they suggested something done on my vehicle and I asked them why or what that meant, they literally said I don't know and they could not provide me an answer besides, "if you don't do it it could damage your vehicle." On top of all of that, they did not do half of the things on the checklist that they run through at checkout, which was news to me. Half the reason I went today was to get my tires looked at by a "professional" and only at checkout do I find out they didn't even look at them. I asked why they didn't and he said I don't know. The draw of these one stop shops for oil change is 1) speed and 2) knowing you are getting the top level inspection. Neither of these were provided. read more

I have visited here before with no problems but today we too my husbands truck in to switch over his tires. Dropped it off first thing in the morning they said it would be a couple of hours so after 4 we have them a they apologize it had been done and we didn't get a call. Not too big of a problem but after getting the truck home we had realized the center console had been broken. Called and spoke with the manager they want us to bring the truck by again hoping this is resolve but as of now 1 star. read more

Everyone here was so friendly! They met me at my car and signed me in without me having to unload my kids and haul them inside. I was able to drop the car off and do my Costco shopping while my cars transmission was flushed. The employees were kind and considerate. I usually take my car to the dealer, but I always wonder if other places would be cheaper. So I went here and the guy who came out first was super nice and inviting, that ended real quick! They charged me $59.99 for their 2 star oil change, the 4 star was $109.99??? I have never in my life paid so much for a basic oil change and the drill Sargent that checked me in needs to get some people skills. She then tried to get me to change my transmission fluid for $139.99, to drain and refill the fluid?? I really wish I would have went to the dealer :( read more

My super sweet hubby (he's a five-star type dude!) brought my car in for an oil change for me a couple weeks ago. He came home and told me the cost was over $100!!!! WHAT?!? That is a couple star ding there. What really irked me, though, was the oil spattered everywhere on the car and greasy handprints on the door and door handles. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. First off, I brought in MY car with my husband and I was paying for everything. The associate would only address my huband and did not acknowlege me. We came in for an oil change and tire change-over. We were told it would be about 2-3 hours as the service is 1st come 1st serve. We walked to the mall, hung out for about 3 hours, called in and were told 40 minutes. We walked back and my car hadn't even been touched. We waited 6 fucking hours and all anyone would tell us was that the car ahead of us had some issues that held things up. Yet customers who arrived HOURS after us got serviced and left before we were. Will NEVER be using a Jiffy Lube EVER again. read more

Worst place ever...they pressured me to add more things onto my oil change such as air filters that were only 4 mo the old and they didn't even cheng them but charged me 175 dollars for them...they rob people..I also herd them bully and elderly man into paying for synthetic oil in his old oldmobile car and told him they didn't even want to do regular oil because it would mess up the car...they are husslers and lier. We bring all of our company and personal vehicles here for oil changes. They are always great. We don't have any other services preformed here so I can't comment on any other services. The reason why I give them a 5 star review is for their customer service. They r great. I always do Costco shopping when I'm here and these guys go out of their way to get your stuff loaded up and put your cart in the corral. They are always accommodating even when they are super busy. Usually people think of getting their oil changed as a mundane chore that has to be done every so often, and so people only write a review about it if their experience was bad. I had SUCH a great experience here that I needed to let everyone know how good they are, and particularly James, the manager. He's a really good manager and an all-around nice person. And no, I don't know him personally but he totally treated my husband and I as if we were his good friends or family members. The experience started out like any old routine oil change, where we drove up to the intake bays to get our oil changed. The guy at the bay was brand new and in training, so he was only able to do limited tasks that day such as tell us where to park and who to talk to inside. Before we even got inside, James came over and took over. He asked us if we had been there before. We had, so he asked us if we just wanted our usual service. We did. We also needed to hurry and get to Costco because we had a lot of errands that day. So he took care of us and sent us off on our merry way to Costco next door. When we returned, we checked out as normal, got our keys and our car and left. As we left the Jiffy lube area, we drove down the block and suddenly the car started acting weird. So we pulled back into the Costco lot as soon as we could although we were only able to get into the opposite side from Jiffy Lube. One of the tires had become totally flat. My husband started to change it, and he asked me to go down to Jiffy Lube and tell them that the tire was flat. We thought it may have happened in the shop. So I walked back, and the guys flagged down James, who was heading out on his lunch break. I told him what happened and he went back with me to take a look, bringing tools. With his help and extra tools, they got the tire off quick, and he took it back to the shop quickly for a diagnostic. Apparently sometimes valve stems can open during the process of checking your air (or something...I'm no auto expert but they both thought it could have been a routine thing that could just be fixed up with some air), and he and my husband both thought that was what happened. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The flat tire was completely unrelated to the oil change. Our car goes through a lot of harsh conditions in Alaska, and the weather damage had caused cracking to the sidewall, which caused the tire to finally fail. At this point, James went COMPLETELY above and beyond with his helpfulness, and helped my husband get the spare tire on. He also advised us to get back to the shop because our spare was a little flat, and they fixed that there for us. He helped us find a place to get a new tire too, since we didn't want to purchase a whole new set at Costco right that very moment either. This is the only place in Anchorage I have ever gone to get my oil changed, and after this it is the only place I will ever go, as long as James is the manager. He was so helpful and friendly, taking time out to help us when the issue wasn't even related to Jiffy Lube. He truly treated us like old friends, and even acted the same way when we ran into him & his wife randomly in town a few weeks later. What a great guy and outstanding customer service! Every experience I have had here in the past has always been good as well, but this time was really outstanding. Very poor service. Was there for 2.5 hours for a simple oil/ filter change when we were the only truck there and got told 40mins. Then they charged $120 over what they quoted. We would have walked away at the start to be charged so much more, they did give us $60 off but it was there mistake not ours. We had a bunch of Costco frozen meats that had to be left in the sun for over 2 hours. Both myself and my partner have had okay experiences before but will not take our cars here again. read more

Just got my oil changed at this location. I have done business here before with no problems, but today they poured oil all over the left side of the engine near the oil filler cap and obviously didn't even try to clean it up. Oil ran down on the outside of the car onto the bumper! They should give out free car wash coupons! Won't go here again. read more

2pm: I arrive to get my tires changed over. They tell me it'll be 45 minutes, park over there, leave my keys in the car. I say OK, and go do my shopping at Costco. 3pm: I come back, my car has not been touched. I put my groceries in the car, assuming they'll pull my car in soon to do the tires. I pay for the changeover and sit in the waiting room. They say it'll be another 40 minutes. What?! Okay, I guess. 3:35pm: They tell me it'll be another 30 minutes. Why? Well, normally they don't change tires on cars like mine because there's an expensive and complicated tire pressure monitoring system, and they only have one tire tech working right now, and he's still in training. 4:10pm: The car is finally done, and the guy who's been helping me says that he is going to go speak to his manager. We step outside and he says that I was given wrong information by a mistaken employee, and if I would like to pursue the issue further, I can return tomorrow to talk to the manager. (Here I was thinking I'd get a discount for waiting TWO HOURS) I tell him that I'm not spending another minute of my life on the property, and leave. The service was unprofessional from start to finish, and to be honest, I'm nervous about actually driving knowing that an untrained newbie was working on my tires. $65 for a tire changeover by someone who doesn't know what he's doing, that took three times longer than it should have? Took my car in for a much procrastinated-on spring oil change last week. I had no idea what sort of maintenance regime the previous owners had with my car but assumed it was minimal, so I though it might be a wise idea to get some of the other optional stuff done and was prepared for it to cost me more than a Signature Service would have cost with my last car. Couldn't recall the type of oil the Subaru dealership used on my car but we concluded it was synthetic, so it was off to an expensive start. I suspected I'd have to replace the infamous air filters, and these suspicions were confirmed when I saw all the straw and dead leaves stuck to one of them (explaining the rustling noise I heard for a little bit last Fall when I used my heater). I think the only things I turned down were replacement windshield wipers and something that was really expensive. It cost me 200ish by the end, but the guys were nice and service was pretty fast because I went in at 6pm on a Saturday. I think they must have properly refilled and screwed everything back together right because it's been a week, nothing is dripping, and my car is still okay. Will probably be back again in winter for my fall oil change. read more
