Fortunately for me I do all of my own automotive maintenance. I came directly home and verified neither of the filters they showed me were from my vehicle. They were both acceptably clean. Let me know it was good and drove out only to find my steering locked up by the tool the neglected to tell me they couldn't find. An hour later retrieved it. Came in for an oil change, they noticed I needed a few more things done but didn't pressure me; the decision was mine and cost was clearly outlined for each. If you value: friendly, helpful, family-like service without them trying to take advantage of you I recommend this place. Went in for an Oil change, I let them talk me up on synthetic oil which was fine, my car honestly could use it and it wasn't a bad price. They told me my battery was testing bad and they could sell me one there. Thankfully I passed and went to AutoZone, where the tested it normal and charged and fixed my loose terminal. Went this morning trying to get some work done to my work truck. Got there before they open and once they open at 8:10. I told them that I need a brake job done on my truck. The guys in the shop told me it was no problem (very helpful). But once they took me inside to take to the so called manager. He was not helpful at all. He kept trying to push the work away. Making excuses. His machine will not be here until 10. I have to get approved. One thing after another. So I finally got what he was trying to tell me. They don't want the work. I asked him if he didn't want to do the job and he didn't even care. So then I told him I was going to the other jiffy on 1960. He did care ether that I was taking the work some places else. So I left. Never going there ever. One thing at the other jiffy the guys there are more helpful and they are ready to work on your vehicle. The one on 1960 in Humble. Then the owner replaced with that standard response. Why do you need my contact information. You need to talk to your workers. Especially the one on the front. Even if I waited my turn for service I was told that is was not guarantee they would get to it. The happen 12.5.21 at 1015am. I told this by the manager. My vehicle was serviced at this location on 4/2/2022. I had a routine oil change and my cabin filter replaced. After service, the vehicle was driven approximately 3 miles, the check engine light came on and the car wouldn't accelerate over 10 mph. I almost caused a major accident pulling out on Atascocita Rd when the car wouldn't accelerate. This was an extremely terrifying experience. I returned the car to the Jiffy Lube location with the assistance of a neighbor. The technicians on site took a look at the vehicle. It was noticed that the engine air filter was missing. Keep in mind I was advised during my service that it was recommended to have my engine air filter replaced. I declined and had my cabin filter replaced instead. The technician (Angel) put a new engine air filter in my vehicle and stated that the missing air filter (that they forgot to put back in during my initial service) caused the check engine light to come on and the issue with the vehicle acceleration. Angel advised that he would not charge me for the engine air filter. I asked to have my entire service refunded $81.33. Angel advised that he would need to contact his manager Jose R. before he could do that. Angel called his manager and the manager informed that we would not receive a refund. I asked to speak directly to Jose R. and provided Angel my cell phone number. Jose R. contacted me while on site immediately. Asked me to explain what happened and I did. He explained that he would not refund me for the oil change. We spoke for some time and I was continually denied a refund. Jose R. began to raise his voice. And I explained that it was reasonable for me to be refunded my $81.33. Jose R. then threatened to call the police on me and have my vehicle towed. Within minutes, he apologized for his behavior and I was finally refunded. Upon getting in my vehicle to leave, I noticed that the check engine light was still on and I was still unable to accelerate over 10 mph. I waived to Angel to get his attention and he came over and stated that the check engine light would eventually go off and that my car would eventually accelerate as normal. Angel told me to drive my vehicle home and wait because it SHOULD start working. I asked Angel if there were any certified mechanics on site and he answered no. With the assistance of my neighbor escorting me, driving 10 mph, I was able to make it home safely. I am now waiting to have my vehicle towed to the dealership. This was a horrible experience. I understand people make mistakes but to deny me a $81.33 refund and be threatened with police presence because I asked (I was never irate or disrespectful or used any profanity) for a refund is just bad business. And my vehicle is still not working. I wonder what the experience is going to be like once I ask for the cost of the repairs. I am not looking forward to this next encounter with them. read more

The employees there did not feel like doing an inspection because it was drizzling out. So I drove to the Humble location and was in and out within 20 minutes (same weather). Horrible customer service at Atascocita. Will not use this Jiffy Lube location or recommend them even though it's about a 2 minute drive from my house. I took my car here intending on getting a transmission flush. I called before coming in and asked for prices. Whoever I spoke with told me $130, so I decided to drop it off. The man said it would be 45 minutes until they could start on my car, but that he'd give me a call when it was finished. Six hour later I decided to go up and get my car because no one called. A different person rang me out and thought I got an oil change. A few weeks later I had to bring my car into a mechanic shop for transmission issues. I got a call after my diagnostic saying I needed a transmission flush really bad. Naturally, I called Jiffy Lube to discuss my concerns. The man who answered told me to wait for the manager to take a look at security cameras to prove that they flushed it. I had pictures of my transmission fluid darker than my oil when it's supposed to be red. The manager called and I put my boyfriend on the phone because he knows more about cars. He kept going in circles about reasons why it's black and not red, raised his voice with an attitude, lied multiple times, made excuses after excuses, and gaslighted us because he ultimately knew they didn't do transmission flushes. When I said I was going to write a review he tried to bribe us with a free oil change. I eventually called 2 different Jiffy Lubes and come to find out they don't even do transmission flushes. They charged me for a drain and fill..if I would have known this I would have taken my car else where because I didn't need a drain and fill. Waste of time and money. Since I can't "prove" that I asked for a flush they got to keep my money. Now I have to pay for a flush else where which costs around $200-$250. This Jiffy Lube is shady, so be careful if you go.. especially if you are a woman by yourself !! They 100% scammed me. read more
