I came on Saturday and sat in the unmoving line for an hour before I bailed. I figured "eh, it's the weekend and everyone had the same idea as me - I get it. So I'm here on a Tuesday morning. Line is much shorter but still 2 deep in each stall. There are four guys working today and they seem to be all just walking in circles but not actually doing anything. I came for an inspection with one vehicle in front of me. 45 mins later (never saw them do anything to the truck in front of me. (Oil change I guess?) I finally pulled into the stall and was immediately asked about what oil I wanted. . The guy was like "bro, this is an inspection, WTH!?" This is also the guy that asked me why I was here when I pulled up so....not sure who he was yelling at. Anyway, it's now been 20 mins since I was asked to get out of the truck and go wait in the office. Still the same circle-walking. (Also, I'm now standing out front because something died in that office.) Since my normal mechanic shop stopped doing inspections because it was "no longer worth it", I had to come to this place. Never again. I'll spend the next year finding a better place and tell everyone I know not to come here. I'm at 1:10mins as of this writing. Someone shoot me please. Don't get me wrong. The guys are nice enough. It's just clearly no sense of urgency or organization.

I came in because of a weird sound in my A/C, after a quick look, they removed a piece of paper that has gotten stuck (‍). I also needed an inspection, but needed a light bulb changed first. With any other auto repair shop it would've been a high labor cost plus the bulb. I told them I had the bulb in my glove compartment because I was planning on looking up how to do it to avoid unnecessary costs, but they went ahead and replaced the bulb for free. And since it was my first time visit, they did the inspection for free! I will ALWAYS go here from now on, this is how you run a great auto repair shop!

Moses repeatedly asked my husband to upgrade to additional services that we have never put in our vehicle. After my husband declined multiple times, Moses attitude seemed to change. He also did not come back and show my husband the oil stick or air filter during after the service. When my husband came home, he checked the oil himself and also inspected the air filter. We were told the air filter was fine, but after checking it ourselves, we found that it actually needed to be replaced. Now we had to go out & purchase and replace the air filter ourselves. We paid for a service and expected honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this experience left us very unhappy. We went back and spoke with Cesar the manager in charge. Hope management will address this because repeat customers deserve better treatment and accurate service recommendations.

I took it back that same day and they said they would have to charge me $115 to tell me what was wrong. They took me home while they looked at the issue. They called and said it was a coil and a spark plug in the cylinder #6 (my car only has 4 cylinders) They quoted me at first $525 to get it done and I started to cry and said all I had was 346 to my name. They gave me a discount and only charged me 345.. left me one dollar. Two weeks later the same thing happened my car was shaking and I knew I didn't have the money to pay for another 345.. so I went to autozone.. they scanned the check engine light and found out it was cylinder 3.. I bought a coil and plug for $60 and they showed me how to unscrewed the one bolt and change it out in two minutes. I looked at the paperwork from Sun Auto and saw they charged me $169 for the parts!!! I learned a valuable lesson I now know how to change out my plugs and coils on my own thanks to the kind men at autozone but I also learned these men at Suns Auto just deliberately took advantage of me because I didn't have any knowledge.. please avoid this place if you are a woman. They just see sucker on your forehead when you arrive!!!! Beware!!!

The place is just trying to rip people off. I tried as the business owner suggested to call but all they did was try to sell me something too. My 2013 VW Beetle Convertible had what looked like a serious window leak during a massive rainstorm and on top of that my brake light was out. The dealership couldn't even see me until Thursday! (Today is Monday). Grayson got me in today. He and his master mechanic Tommy personally took a hose to my car to diagnose the leak with no runaround. As it turns out, it wasn't the catastrophic leak I feared. At the same time, Tommy replaced my brake light quickly and efficiently. And, Grayson took great care of me- without a doubt amazing and straight up outstanding customer service. All my problems are resolved. Whew!!!! These guys are honest, knowledgeable, and they actually care. And to top it off, Grayson even identified the likely cause of my heat issue that the dealership wanted to fix the expensive way. All through a quick conversation and review of my car's issues. I'll be bringing my car back to fix that in a few weeks. Other than that they totally failed. The day the car was towed in I met with a service tec who told me they would start tearing down the truck the next day to do an estimate. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing I called. I was told my service tech no longer worked there. I told the lady on the phone, "that's your problem not mine." So then I got a new service tech who repeatedly mislead me, missed deadlines, never retuned calls. What's more, I told him I had an aftermarket grill panel and was told that State Farm would only pay for Ford stock items. So I told him, I had the original chrome Ford grill out in my garage and they could use that one and I dropped it off. He asked if they should compare my old grill to the one they were ordering from a used parts house and I said NO. When I came to finally pick up my truck they had used the new used grill anyway. The cost was only $288, and since I had waited 6 weeks for my truck I just decided to take it anyway. Then a few days later I get a final estimate from State Farm and that $288 grill now cost $950!!!!!! Are you kidding me? It's plastic and I plan to remove it anyway and replace with the aftermarket grill. So State Farm is the one being ripped off. Maybe I should just let it go but it galls me that they would rip everyone off at the last minute. My final bill went up $2000! That is just criminal. I have no idea if a guy named Kenneth still owns the place but if he does, he must own a mansion and have membership at Kingwood Country Club with all the scammed money he has made. 1 star is the lowest and that is what Kenneth's gets. I originally came for an alignment, after speaking with Johnathan he shared all the different types of service that were done here. After closely doing research on my vehicle's need it has 75,000 miles , I went with complete transmission flush and rear end differential oil change. These are just some service key necessities that you won't think of. As they did these services I ask if they could go thru the entire SUV with a fine comb to make sure it is in good shape. This place is so awesome they were able to give me a ride home I live within 3 miles so it was great. Most places won't do this you have to wait or grab an Uber. Later on I got the call there were some concerns with a bearing and 1 more issue , these are the items that if not taken care of will cause more damage more expensive one's. I'm super grateful i came in to just do an alignment, there are things you just don't think of that the techs & staff at pepboys will notice. I got the entire service done on my SUV. After this service I was so happy with the outcome I made an appointment for my BMW 430i for alignment. I asked Johnathan to check it make sure it was sound they found out my tie rods needed to be changed. I got this service done as well. I also got my fuel system cleaned just maintenance. Hey I forgot to mention to check out there online coupons, great savings. They have great financial options just in case you run into some snags on items you weren't expecting .
