Asked to discuss price before they started. Gentlemen showed me the prices. There were three options for me to choose from. Ask which one he recommended, and he said the cheapest one would be fine. Do not go here! Worst possible service. Car was totally fine when I took it in for an oil change. As soon as I left I noticed the speedometer was no longer working and the abs, brake and traction control lights were on. I immediately took it back within 5 minutes of leaving. They said it was nothing they did even though there was no other place it could have happened. Was given the wrong number to call corporate office. Was told there was nothing they could do. The worst service and even worse management who did nothing to resolve the fact that they damaged parts during a tire rotation! DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR DAMAGED. read more

His employees were all out getting parts, so had to come back thirty minutes later for service. Had none of the tools necessary to do service requested other than oil change. Told me to go to another jiffy lube to get the rest done. Did explain to me in detail differences between oils to put in my car. Did provide a coupon for me. Not bad people, but I came to jiffy lube to get a full inspection and full maintenance. Don't want to have to wait around for a half hour just to be told they can't do what I need here. This Jiffy Lube (JL) location is not worth your dime, and attitude is everything... Just did an interaction with the Jiffy lube located at 1705 W Ben White Blvd Austin, TX 78704, and found their service to be, "less", than adequate. I came out with some oil to be recycled, and instead of calm communication, I was hit with a yelling technician from the garage that went, "WE CAN'T TAKE YOUR OIL IN THOSE CONTAINERS!" In addition, the technician was staring into the box container, but wanted to walk off as soon as he could, possibly (or intentionally) ignoring the oil filter, that was in the box, as well ---- I asked if the oil filter could be dropped off, and he replied (like he was put out), "THROW IT OVER THERE!", then walked off for the final time, quickly. What was with this bad attitude of not wanting to take my oil to be recycled?... If there was an issue, should you just calmly & in a friendly manner, communicate the issue to the customer? Maybe because I'm a, "do it your selfer", causes riffs with this particular JL location? Hey, I have paid for oil changes in the past for convenience, so wouldn't you talk to a prospective future client in a kinder manner for future business (They won't be getting my business now)?... I guess it's not in their best interest, cause they possibly don't need the money---- oh, and side bar note ---- there is next to no business at this particular JL location, and I can bet I know the reason why. There are "so" many garages that change oil in this town, so why go to the bad ones?... attitude is everything, in business. read more

Had to roll with windows down rat of the day. The guy inside did not ask if I been there before and made me feel like I had to give him my phone number- fail. So, I'm not writing a review about my oil change, because I figure a lube place should have that down. Writing about the service First, they neglected to let me know they wouldn't be pulling my car in immediately. They got to it relatively quickly, so ok... While sitting in the waiting area, I became increasingly irritated with the loud rock n roll. Don't get me wrong, I like rock. Just not from a speaker right next to my chair, in a tiny waiting room at 10:39a.m. So Dalton comes in with the usual rigamaroll about all the things I need for my car. But he dates my car as a 2007 when I tell him it's an'09, he can't seem to let it go and instead offers "odd that the manufacturer tag says 2007". Now, I don't know if there's a tag anywhere on my car that says this (I'd be shocked) but I do know a customer service oriented fellow wouldn't need the last word. Feeling a bit put off, I ask him to change the music. He says "oh, not a fan of Journey?" I tell them it's just not a customer friendly choice. He responds "depends on the customer". Wow. Maybe this explains the empty waiting room. I won't be back, there are only 20 shops nearby. read more

**WARNING AVOID THIS LOCATION** My husband took our 2015 Mazda 6 to this location for a routine oil change. After waiting on the techs to return from their smoke breaks an oil change was preformed. Payment was rendered. My husband went around the corner the car begin to smoke and made a loud knocking sound. He took the car back to the facility. The techs stated the oil was low (2 quarts) prior to changing it, dark in color with debris. This was never told to him nor notated on the invoice. We contacted the store manger which said this was a pre existing issue. Now upon driving the car prior this sound never occurred until after the oil change. Also you can hear the noise yards away. Maintenance is kept promptly on this vehicle. We requested the DM's number since the techs refused to confess up to negligence. The next day we had the car taken to Mazda.(even the Mazda tech stated they have had to repair vehicles from Jiffy Lube)They found motor damage not pre existing but due to a bad oil change. Oil reserve was over filled. No slug found. Mazda checked the vehicle out not long ago because there was an unrelated manufacturer recall. No motor issues was documented at that time. We want our vehicle repaired. Simple. As of today no resolution. STOP avoiding our calls and emails. read more

Maybe Jiffy shouldn't be part of their company name when it hardly describes their service speed. I went in just to get state inspection thinking it would be a easily completed experience. As I pulled around the polite attendant quickly talked me out of using their service. "Just let you know it's a 2 plus hour wait..everyone's on lunch". "Then when they get back it will be about 2 hours wait because we are backed up." So I left. Positive was they warned me of wait...negative is I will most likely never return. read more

I never thought I would write a review for a Jiffy Lube. I have been using them for years and never felt like the experience was good enough or bad enough to warrant a review. I figure if you go to a Jiffy Lube you should know what to expect. I have now gone to this particular Jiffy Lube twice and both times were pretty awesome. All the techs were super friendly and joking around with me and each other. They also took care of what needed to be done in a timely manner and did not try to get me to do service that I did not want. They also did the best job out of any location I have gone to at cleaning my windows. Worst experience ever. I should have left as soon as Alex started being condescending and rude. I'm deaf in one ear in over the sound of my engine and their music I couldn't hear him and I asked him a simple question and his answer was followed with "Like I said 3 times already!" Lol. When I go to pay he tells me he can't accept cash. Which I know I have done before. Unfortunately I only had cash. He then says he can accept cash but he has to go to the bank to get me change. I explain that I have exact change and he gets frustrated with me and tells me I have to wait there for him to go to the bank. So I wait 15 minutes for him to go to the bank and when he comes back and I hand him my exact change. Still not understanding why I had to wait for him to go to the bank When I go to start my car my battery is dead. These guys couldn't even figure out how to put jumper cables on my car so I got out to help and Alex rudely tells me to stay in my car. I went to Ford immediately after and they tell me the drain plug wasn't replaced after the oil change. Idk if he decided because I'm young or because I'm a woman that it was okay to speak to me and deal with me the way he did but I will definitely not being going to that Jiffy Lube again. read more

I actually like most Jiffy Lubes because they are fast, reliable, and have competitive prices. However, this particular Jiffy Lube did not live up to those standards. I pulled up to the shop and 4 guys were standing around laughing and smoking cigarettes. They told me there was a 1+ hour wait time to have my car serviced. One guy who I spoke with was extremely rude and seemed to not care at all about anything. I will never go to that Jiffy Lube again because it does not seem like they care who they hire. read more

Jiffy Lube prices have gone up recently. It cost me about $100 for a full synthetic old change. It included washing windows, vacuuming carpets, etc. The windows looked like they were washed with a dirty rag - lots of streaks. It also appears that only the driver's side was vacuumed. Besides all that, it was a quick oil change. read more

The people that work at this specific location are liars! I came in looking to get my state inspection done. Easy? NO! I drop it off and they say two hours ( I'm fine with that). Some guy that works there calls me from his cell phone two hours later saying they can't continue with my inspection because I am going to fail. He said my brake line is leaking! Little did he know I got my brakes and everything with it completely new less then a month ago and have only driven the car twice since then. So I come to get my car and ask them again what is wrong with it ( I'm guessing this guy was another worker and not the one that called me) he told me that it was a cylinder that was not working correctly. I stopped him right there and grabbed my keys and walked out. I just got a call from Firestone. They were the ones to do my brakes. The man I spoke with said there was nothing wrong with the break lines or cylinders or anything! I also got my inspection done cheaper then they would have charged me at jiffylie! read more

I am so impressed that I came home and created a yelp account so that I could review them. First off, I went there with my sister months ago when she needed and oil change and they were SO NICE - so helpful. Got the door for us, offered us coffee, great service. We thought it may have just been a fluke but we were thrilled. Today I had to go get my oil changed so I stopped by on my way home. Again they did not dissapoint, so nice, same great service. My expectations have been far exceeded - today I could not have been there longer than 15 - 20 minutes. Hands down, recommend this place for great service and an oil change. read more

This was an optimal experience. I had my oil changed at another Jiffy Lube (oh yeah, I'll be Yelping about that right after this one) and felt like they tried to take SERIOUS advantage of me. So I decided to go to another one. All I needed was my car inspected. They did that. They didn't try to upsell me. They didn't try to tell me something was broke. They just inspected my car. In a timely manner with great customer service. Exactly what I wanted. I did this before work and made it to work on time (but not to early--see my other Yelp reviews for this reference). Really had a good experience here. Needed to get my oil changed before a trip. I normally go toy dealership but the reviews here were good. Stopped in and had them change the oil. Had a great Jiffy Lube experience this weekend. My Ford Focus's headline burned out, and I needed an oil change. I called ahead, and the guy on the phone said they had the part and that oil changes were $10 off (their every Saturday special). I got there, and they opened the door, offered me a (free!) soda and got to my car very quickly. Their window washing wasn't the best, and I don't think I'd trust them for any serious repairs, but I feel like the price of the headlight and labor was reasonable, and all the guys there are very nice. It's amazing what a free soda will do to improve one's disposition. read more

This is the third year in a row I've tried to get an inspection at this Jiffy Lube. For one reason or another they can never do it. I don't know why I waste my time going there when I always end up having to go to some other company. I guess because it's so conveniently located near work. I consider this a very low end, poorly run franchise and I will never try to go there again for anything. Was needing an inspection done and when I drove up I was able to get one immediately!! This was after I had gone to the firestone two blocks away three days in a row and was told it would take over two hours to get an inspection each day . Would definitely recommend this Jiffy Lube! This experience was a bad one, unfortunately. There was little communication as to what kind of oil my car needed until AFTER it was done. On the printed receipt, it showed that the vacuuming of my car was "complete". Nope, no attempt at all. I was the only person there and I've never experienced such poor service while getting my oil changed. read more

Chito and his team were fantastic! Luckily, I went at a time when there was no wait to get a few services taken care of. Due to covid, the team took active precautions to keep customers safe, comfortable, and were transparent in communication. Distancing from the customer, gloves being worn to get inside the cabin filter, and they even used a special cleaning solution to wipe down the interior of anything they touched. They were super friendly from the get go, and like the previous poster said, they opened the door for me and the men were extremely friendly and acted like gentlemen!
