I regularly go to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed - just not this specific location. Oops. They are under manned and clumsy. The other location I go to is like a well oiled machine. Luckily the timing worked out and my car got in right away but a couple of other patrons were sitting there the whole time all the guys (3 I'm guessing) worked on my car. The phone also rang off the hook and no one ever picked up in the store. Really disappointed with the service at this location. read more

Wish I could give this place zero stars. I've been to jiffy lubes all over the country and have always had a good and professional experience. This location doesn't follow that same trend. They have a low level of knowledge and a low level of integrity. They dropped numerous tools inside the engine bay, and had I not been keeping an eye on them, they would have left them in there. And when I asked if they got all of the tools out, they assured me they did. Once they took the car out of the garage, I had to pop the hood and find the large metal fitting they had dropped in (that their lead quality assurance employee guaranteed me that they had found) that ended up right next to the accessory belt. They didn't know how to reset the "service now" notice on my dashboard and I had to teach them. I bring my car here to have the peace of mind that I know it got done correctly. I didn't think I would have to be checking in on them! Everyone in the shop was very nice, but unfortunately being nice doesn't keep my car on the road without issues. The shop needs to take ownership of the work they are doing on other people's cars. read more

David and his team were awesome! I came in around 6pm and they were very friendly and thorough. David showed me my oil options and explained the difference between all of them for me. He also showed me my air filter which was so dirty but wasn't too pushy about the sale. I have been looking for a shop to take my car to regularly and couldn't find one where the price and service met my expectations but I will be back thanks to David and his team! read more

Very disappointed! I drive with Uber and Lyft full time and currently in a rental car because my car is in the shop for repairs, this location refused to honor my discount because I was not the owner of the car... How does that make sense? I can even provide proof of 40 plus hours each week of driving with the company! What difference does it make if I own the car or not? Went in to get my taillight replaced and the two guys there were extremely friendly. They introduced themselves when I pulled up and ask me what they could help me with today. I pulled in at 5pm asking for the oil change special they advertised in the window--which was still hanging in the window. The manager claimed "that was just to get people in" and said the price for just an oil change was $15 more. I was furious, he wouldn't budge, so I left. I told my fiancé to NEVER go there again. I went in for another oil change and my god they are seriously over priced!! Trying to charge me the most expensive oil saying I "need" it when I use the original cheap synthetic and it's just fine. No other place has tried to charge me so much it's ridiculous!!! read more

Will never visit a Jiffy Lube again. Went in for an oil change. They took a very long time putting the engine shield back on. They did not properly attach the screws and one came loose, punctured my front left tire and is now going to cost me two new tires. read more

Do not go to this location or any locations associated to this owner. I normally don't write a bad review but I had to make an exemption for this Jiffy lube. I would take my Honda Accord to this location for oil changes. The first incident occurred when one of their mechanic / technician failed to screw in the oil cap. The oil spilled out to my engine and hood. I had to add two quarts of oil to drive it. I called and spoke to a Manager and claimed they could not do anything. I urged that they make amends and rectify their wrong doing, but he was reluctant to do so. Finally the manager throw me a bone and honored me with a whopping $35 credit, since that was the cost of replacing the rubber seal that goes on my hood, but had no intentions on cleaning the engine. I went back again for an oil change to use my $35 credit, and after a day, or two, I notice a pool of oil on my drive way... I measured the oil and sure enough it was low. I filled it and took a look, with a flash light, and notice a leak coming out of the oil pan screw. I took it back to them and informed them, they either did not tighten the screw on or they damaged it. According to the manager on duty, it needed some form of washer that would go with the screw and they had forgotten to place it. Based on the information given to me, I felt confident that it was an honest mistake and they would resolve the issue. It did not!!! It still kept on leaking and they were refusing to do anything about it. I finally filed a complaint to the BBB. Even to the BBB, they refused to acknowledge me as one of their customer and denied ever doing business with me. I was in the process of following up, with copies of receipts, but do to a death in the family I did not follow through. Unfortunately, they were never held responsible, for their negligence to my vehicle. Poor business ethic only leads to unhappy and non reoccurring customers. They have forever lost my business and I will tell my story till my dying days. Hopefully someone will avoid them and help prevent a horrible experience by preventing them from wasting cash on damages done by their wrong doing. Jiffy Lube, shame on you!!! This Jiffy Lube location replaced my existing battery with the wrong battery. In order to make it fit, they modified my terminals and loosened my fuse box so that the wiring harness would reach the smaller battery. The damaged wiring harness caused a serious safety issue and had to be repaired immediately. Now I am out over $700 for the repairs and a new battery (the right one). Jiffy Lube corporate found a legal loophole to not pay for my repairs. Looks like the little guy gets screwed again. The guys at this location are nice enough, but there are plenty of other places in the area that stand behind their work. I can't rate higher than one star unless they make good on their mistake. read more

I use Jiffy Lube all the time for oil changes and typically have very good experiences, but this was my first time going to this location. They looked me up in the computer and stated "so, same as last time?" to which I said yes. Same as last time is the basic change which already runs me $60 (base 5q plus an extra 2). I've never purchased a full synthetic change. I didn't get that usual initial price estimate they give you before actually doing the change which was a red flag I ignored. So they do the change, and come back telling me it's $120. I pay it but bring back in my previous receipts telling them that I did not appreciate being given a more expensive oil change that I have never received in the past and that they need to give price estimates so I know what I'm saying yes to. Maybe it was an honest mistake, but part of me feels as though I was conned. And because of that, I won't be back to this location. read more

I would like to thank Jiffy Lube for their fine customer service and knowledge of vehicles. My wife took her 2006 Chevy Equinox to the Jiffy Lube in Barrington Illinois today. The men working there told her that they could not change her oil because they could not get the hood open. They told her that the hood latch was either broken or frozen. She was also told "go to a dealer and maybe they have a magic hammer to open it." When I got home from work, I popped the hood release inside, walked over to the hood, pushed up on the hood latch and opened the hood right up with no issues. There was no snow or ice around it so it was not frozen. So either it was pure laziness of the employees not wanting to do their job, or absolute ignorance for not knowing how to open a hood. I don't know what the hiring policy is of Jiffy Lube, but maybe you should look for people with some kind of automotive knowledge. You lost business today and future business from my family and friends. read more
