I took my car in shaking and wanting to die, after spending 5 1/2 hours (arrived at 11 am left at 5:30pm)there they did a tune up. I returned with my car today and spent from 10 am until 2:45 pm just for tHem to tell me it did not need a tuneup but a valve was bad. "in his opinion" and they don't fix it there. They did however give me back the money for the labor but never going back to this one again!!!!!!!!!!!! They also in the 2 1/2 years I have been going for oil changes stripped the oil bolt and 2 months later finally was fixed??!!!! If you want good service North side on Cicero and Diversey is your best bet Proffecional and quick they really get you in and out fast ask for Anthony you won't be disappointed read more

Shity as service I went in for a tune up and to check why my engine light was on. Fransisco one of the mechanics ripped me off charged me almost $500 for what was only supposed to be a tune up "change spark plugs". Worst experience ever when I got there I only had 2 p.o codes now my car has 4p.o codes. Don't go to fransisco read more

Went in for a simple oil change. Replacing power steering hose and can't drive my car. The manager Miguel stated it's not our fault but we are going to fix it for free. So they sent it to pep boys... I wouldn't. But, then called me to pick it up from pep boys.. now I am on public transportation with a 2000.00 bill for power steering issues.. didn't have any issues coming in. What the @&$@ waited 45 min for nothing. Paid for diagnostic for ac and all they can tell me is I got a leak!! Couldn't tell me who what where! Don't waste your time here they can't diagnose! You better off googling it! Very polite and courteous employees though. read more

Absolutely awful. First off I asked for them to change my air filter which they didn't do. But These geniuses left my air box open causing a piece of styrofoam to get in and block my air sensor causing my truck to die. I had to have it towed and fixed in a shop. $300 it cost me plus a day of work. Thanks a lot you dumb uneducated pieces of s*** not to mention I paid $100 for my oil change. read more

So I needed a new starter for my 2014 Jeep Patriot and I purchased the starter at Autozone and came to this particular jiffy lube because it was close by. Francisco the mechanic kept huffing and puffing about doing the service due to the location of the starter . He also kept asking why I came to that location being that I was from across town (did not know that mattered) he also decided to start helping the customer behind me order tires (unprofessional) because he seemed in a hurry and he told me the wire connected to the starter was completely burnt and that i needed the wires . I told him could I purchase them and come back and he said I did not need to he also called "upull it" and inquired about the wires but when he got off the phone he said they didn't have it. I do not know anything about cars and I asked him what I should do and he proceeded to say go and get the wires and I can go to any mechanic . And that's what I did although it didn't make much sense to me but as I stated I don't know anything about cars . I ended up taking my car to Lesters who then told me that he should've never proceeded with putting the starter on once he saw those wires . But not only that , my starter was not connected completely and rhe main bolt was loose . So I think to myself , I paid $95 for a shitty job by someone who clearly didn't care about what was the right thing to do but more about what he felt like doing on that Sunday afternoon . I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO GO TO THIS JIFFY LUBE AND TO ESPECIALLY NOT GO TO FRANCISCO BARERRA . read more

Went in for simple lyft inspection $20 plus tax for manager Edward W to say I failed because of a car wash and a little salt in the floor mats . Are you fucking kidding it's winter. So he goes on to tell me go get it washed and come back and I'll charge for another inspection . Never going back again . read more

Went to this location to have my car inspected for Uber. On the surface they staff were nice and pleasant. Well I pull away from Jiffy Lube and discovered they had STOLE the money I keep in my car for emergencies! How dare you steal anything out of a customer vehicle! Totally unsatisfied! Im not one to rate but this definitely deserves it!, and not in a good way! Im not one to get swindled, I shop around trust me but today i got swindled!!! Today, I go in for a regular oil change, the only good thing was that they were fast! So fast, that i didnt even have enough time to agree on the products they had already put in my vehicle, they went with the most expensive oil, to have a tab of over $80 for an oil change! I asked the rep before i entered how much an oil change would cost and he gave a total price of $31 with a coupon i had! I went ahead with it for the price because the coupon helped! I asked what oil came with the coupon and the service he priced me at and he stated "they all come with the coupon at the same price!" So i said ok, and when i get rung up its $80+!!! When i asked why? he stated that that was the price for the cheaper oil, and i told him well thats the one i wanted! Thats why i asked you, so that you dont give me the most expensive oil, the "best" oil! The fluids were already in my car, what was i supposed to say? Take it out and put my old one back in! I did get a complimentary windshield fluid top off! Gee thanks for that, i would hope that if i spent $80 i would get something out of it! NEVER going back to that place again! So pissed! read more

Jerks... I went to this jiffy lube 15 minutes prior to closing time. Yeah, I understand 15 minutes is cutting it close but sometimes that's how it works out. The service employee said that they can't take any more cars (there was one being serviced at the time) and I asked to speak to the manager that was refusing service. The manager stormed out and said "closed!" I politely said that they are open until 4:00 and they should accept my service. He continued to be a jerk to me and said if they took my car they'd be running after closing time and that I needed to leave. I would NOT recommend coming to this jiffy lube location. The "manager" clearly doesn't know how to treat his customers; I found his demeanor and tone to be ridiculously disrespectful. How do these people get these positions of authority? I would've been just fine leaving if he had spoken to me politely and treated me with respect. I am still a little perturbed that they weren't even closed though... read more
