This Jiffy Lube in Chico (Notre Dame) location has excellent customer service. We are from out of town and were visiting relatives in Chico. All we needed was the 'top off' service. We were greeted with smiles and total professionalism. No one tried to make a sale or convince us that we needed some service done. The employees were fantastic. Got our top off and off we went. I was putting off doing my oil change for the longest! I was lazy and didn't wanna sit there and wait. Jiffy Lube on Notre Dame Blvd not only did it in about 20 minutes, but they also checked everything in my car, (there were a few minor things that they fixed free of charge) including vacuumed my floors and wash my windows! I'd take my car to get serviced and at the time, the owner smiled and said I didn't need anything done. I was wow'd because yeah, that just doesn't happen. I've brought my car back to them since then a few times and its always been a great experience. read more

Routine oil change was fine but an employee here made a frivolous claim that i needed new rotors and break pads. He showed me several diagrams and told me that this service was urgent. I didn't feel like there was any issue driving my car in its current condition so I took my car to Les Schwab and Pep Boys for a second and third opinion, both of which said that I did not need new rotors or break pads. These other companies also informed me that if i did need new rotors, my pre-existing ones could be flipped to save money on this expense. I was also told that Jiffy lube does not have the right equipment to flip the rotors. I will not go back to get any service from Jiffy Lube. read more

Definitely as good as it gets! Every time I go there, the group of guys that work on my cars are always helpful, friendly, and provide a wonderful service. I take all my cars there for regular serice-a chevy, a cadillac, and a mazda, all with different needs. Though my cars are all so different, they knowexactly how to treat my car and what it needs. As I wait (which is no more that 15 minutes) the lobby is always clean and the restroomsare always restocked. Plus, theres a friendly dog that greets me :). I use a coupon before I go everytime! Went to get an oil change, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The guy at the register had a lot of useful information. They recommended other services but just offered it which was nice but not needed at the time. They noticed my coolant fluid was a bit low so they topped it off for a small extra fee which was nice. They couldn't get the change oil light reset but thats ok it's a Corvette its a little complicated but they tried at least. read more

The worsted customer service I have ever seen, I drove all the way from Oroville to get my oil changed was standing in line behind the person that the girl behind the counter was helping, but when she got done with him, the girl behind the counter looked at me then turned around and walked out into the oil changing bay and started talking to the guy's out there and never said a word to me, I waited for about 15 minutes and she never came back into the office to help me or anyone else, as I was walking out I said something to one of the other workers about what happened and all he did is laughed, and even though she was watching me come out the door walking toward my car she never asked me if she could help me or anything else, so if I was you and your thinking of having any work done here or anyone of their other location I would just find another company, also why I was there waiting another customer had to come back in because they forgot to tighten the oil plug so he had lost a whole bunch of the oil in his car, just save yourselves lot of headaches and go someplace else read more

First of all, to be fair I did show up on a Saturday at 4:30 pm when they close at 5 (approximately 2 weeks ago); however, the attitude I received was unacceptable, the greeting I received was far from warm...more like icy. I arrived requesting an oil change and a tire rotation. I was well aware my lug nuts were getting worn out so I had purchased new ones at oreilley's prior to my arrival and informed the technician that they would need to be changed out. His response? 'Well I hope we can get them off.' Hmmm..ok. We were escorted to the waiting area and shortly thereafter another technician went through the services and quoted me $85 and mentioned the tire rotation was currently being offered at $14.99 instead of the regular price of $24.99. (There was also a sign in the lobby reflecting the current sale price) At approximately 5:10, (yes, unfortunately I did keep them over a bit and I hate it too when customers keep me over..but still..CUSTOMER SERVICE) yet a third technician, Chad, came in to check me out and this time it was $95. He informed me because my lug nuts were 'a pain to get off, they were gonna go full price.' Wow...I didn't feel the need to ask for a manager since again, it after 5 and everyone wanted to go home, including me, my daughter and sister. Instead I'll vent here...too bad because my prior visits here have been very pleasant..the passive aggressive reception I received this last time was unnecessary and unfortunate. :( read more
