Could tell they were trying to up charge me as a woman. They charged me about $40 more than when my husband brings our vehicle in for an oil change and kept telling me I need this or that replaced, when that same thing they're talking about, my husband had replaced already at a better mechanic. I feel like maybe they might be making small damages to my oil system hoping it will progressively get worse so that I will have no choice but to come back to them to address the issue and pay the insane quote they gave me. I came in for an emissions test on my truck, it got done quickly and I was out within 15 minutes which is nice. My problem here today was how when I declined to provide my email and home address, the CSA would not accept no for an answer and kept arguing on why it is necessary to provide this information. I was told that providing my email and home address is for warranty purposes which made no sense considering that I came in for an emissions test and all the necessary files are the receipt from jiffy live, registration and the emissions report. this was annoying and honesty just made me never want to come back despite how well the person testing the vehicle did. read more

Went in for an emissions inspection and everything went well very professional. The only thing I didn't like was the owners of the Jiffy lubes from Clinton To South Salt Lake charge $47 and the owners in weber County and North charge $35. I would suggest going to Weber County Jiffy lubes and save $12 for the exact same service. read more

I went in to get my oil changed because I bought a Groupon. The service was done and when I went to pay, the employee told me that I couldn't use the groupon at the specific Clinton location because of the franchise rules. I paid for my service and the employee was apologetic and helped me get a coupon to lower the cost. They advised me that I should reach out to Groupon for a refund. I did that, and Groupon investigated the issue with the Clinton location per an email they sent me after I asked them to look into it. Their email says "The merchant is open and honoring vouchers. We recommend reaching out to them directly for further assistance. This merchant is responding to customer queries, so feel free to contact them." BE WARY AT THIS LOCATION IF YOU ARE USING A GROUPON. The Groupon details do state that it may not be valid and certain locations, but I'm upset about the differing info from Jiffy Lube, and Groupons communication with them saying that the merchant should honor the Groupon. Lazy, lazy, lazy!! Just pulled up to this location on 01.26.2023 at 8:33am. Bay doors are closed because of the cold temperatures and I agree with that. Saw two employees working on one vehicle in a bay and both employees looked at me through the glass bay door windows. Sat there for almost five minutes and not one wave or someone acknowledging me. I left after five minutes realizing these employees could care less and are pure lazy. Jiffy Lubes have turned into a joke and this location is the epitome of that. read more

0 stars... This is the 2nd time I've been here in 3 years and again horrible service. This time no one in bay and took them over an hour to do an oil change. After it was done he said, "sir come take a look at the bill now please and chat with me." It was $134 cause he put expensive synthetic in without talking to me. It's my daughters older car and I pulled up and told him I just wanted a quick cheap oil change. He went on to tell me it's what the system recommended so they did it without asking me. GTFO I would have went to Walmart or did it myself if I knew this up front. Forgot my sticker in window, bathroom was broke, etc... Horrible! read more

I needed my registration sticker and paper, and my normal guy was closed so I can here and Kendall was right on it, she came out right away, greeted me and asked how i was doing and everything; she explained the process and had me in and out in under 30 minutes i was impressed. She was very knowledgeable and honest and straight forward. She made sure i was understanding the entire process and she asked about me and everything. I really felt the love. Went in for an oil change. There were three cars ahead of me and I was quoted 40 minutes to an hour (what!) to complete the change. We were hungry so we decided that would be fine and went to get breakfast. Showed up 45 minutes later to find they had just put my car in the bay and we waited another hour to get our car back. This is no way to run a business and I doubt we will ever go back. What a joke! read more

Good jiffy lube. Gentlemen who took care of me was very nice and upfront about the time it would take for the oil change to be done. He was also upfront of the cost prior to preforming the service. It does have a very small and not very clean waiting area but I can't say most oil change places do. read more

Worst service imaginable. Waited nearly an hour for nothing - no emissions test and no registration. They claimed they were having equipment problems. Drained my battery. Almost didn't start. Came in at 2:30 to get brakes changed and brought my own, only give me a $40 dollar credit and they only started working on my car an hour later, finally they tell me they are done at 5pm, only to find out they only did half the job I asked them to do and didnt replace the rotor (which they suggested themselves) so I had to wait even longer just to get them to do the job they already said they were going to do read more

I went to Jiffy Lube in Clinton, UT today only to get an emission certificate for my RX350 Lexus. They came to inform me I had up to 7 different problems with my car and need to fix immediately. Very low coolant, low brake fluid, bad battery and cables, bad brakes (3/32). Well I had just had my car checked at Tony Divino the prior month and I have taken my car there many years. So I refused the services and went to Toyota. Just as they told me before, the battery is fine for another year, the brakes are 7/32, they sprayed a chemical on to clean the cables and they cleaned right up, etc. and the battery test had totally different number for the diagnostic. I asked Jiffy Lube hfor a copy of the needed repairs and suddenly the printer didn't work, but it did when he wanted to process my receipt. Is this another attempt to take advantage of women? Toyota charges 30 for an emissions test and nothing to do the online "on the spot", it would have cost me 49 at Jiffy but I did my own online portion. I will never go to this place again, I felt I was being scammed. Management needs to look into this read more

I usually take it to point S and have for years. never had an issue. they had to put in a temporary type plug? I am so &@$?@$! passed off and will never go to jiffy lube again. Please avoid this location. Took our car in for emission test, It failed, when we took it back for retest, we waited for over an hour and then got on the machine only to have the machine break in the middle of the test. We checked back, still broken. Finally on the last day that we could have it retested they said it was still broken and suggested we go someplace else. But wait! We paid here for a test! What do we do about that? They referred us to another Jiffy Lube several miles up the road. They told us they wouldn't honor the retest and charged us another fee, not even giving us a discount. Will avoid all Jiffy Lubes from here on out, especially the one in Clinton. read more

This place blew me away. I was looking to buy a car from somebody & wanted to have it checked out. I took it to a mechanic shop & I got there just as they were closing. The mechanic apologized & suggested that I take it to this place. I was a bit skeptical about taking it to a lube shop, but they weren't what I expected. The mechanic took me into the bay & showed me every detail that he could find - small and large. He gave me a rough idea on how much it would cost to fix all the issues. (a lot!) Spending $30 to have them review it saved me $3,000 in repairs. I'd recommend this place to anybody. read more

Just here to get my emissions done and they did the routine up sell on air filter and stuff. While he's talking to me showing me that my air filter is bad another guy starts the car without the air filter in. Luckily he realized what he did and turned it off quickly, but being fall season and knowing that there are leaves in my engine bay, it could have gone much worse. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. Sent in my wife for an emissions test and they tried to push an alternator to pass emissions. This isn't the first tome pushed a bogus service. Came in with another car for emissions and they brought me a dirty air filter. Problem is that it was not even the one out of my car. So I asked them to walk out with me and put the filter back in. Miracle of miracles when we get to my car it already has one in it and is brand new. I had replaced it last time I did the oil change myself. 20+ ASE certified mechanic and I don't have an emissions machine at my house. These guys make bonuses off of how much they up sale. If you have a coupon for an emissions go ahed and use it here. But, only do that!!! read more

I took my element into this establishment to get my oil changed and up until I took it into here I had absolutely no problems with leakage of oil. I got home and when I woke up the next day and pulled out of my driveway I had a huge oil spot. So I took it back and had them check what could be wrong, all of a sudden my oil pan gasket is deteriorated and is in need of replacing. My 16 year old son thought he would go get his oil changed today at Jiffy Lube in Clinton. He wanted to do this on his own (I was with him the first time). Proud Mom moment for him attempting to be independent. He comes home almost in tears because he just spent his whole tax return at this place. They talked him into everything under the sun that they honestly knew was not necessary. I understand my 16 year old knew nothing, but seriously how can you pray on kids that are just learning. My husband and I went to go talk to them basically the guy behind the counter said well he's a adult and should have known. Well to Jiffy Lube in Clinton from one very upset mother you are so unprofessional it's sick. And I hope word is spread that this is the way you treat young customers and probably female customers too. read more
